A couple, Jason Ve and Arthur Woods, got engaged in front of thousands of cheering fans during the pop star's latest show at New York's Madison Square Garden on Monday, Aug. 11. Perry brought fans from the audience onto the stage to help her sing "The One That Got Away," but Ve had other plans first: He asked Perry if his boyfriend of 11 years could join them, and Ve and Perry sang snippets of her songs "Unconditionally," "Teenage Dream" and "Lifetimes" as Woods made his way to the stage. The couple, both clad in leopard print ensembles, then shared the special moment in front of the crowd of thousands. Perry helped the pair through the sweet moment and held a microphone as Ve got down on one knee and popped the question on stage. "Will you spend the rest of eternity with me?" he asked before pulling out the ring. The crowd went wild as Woods accepted the proposal, and the two kissed. Perry, who looked shocked and emotional, quickly went in for a hug and took a photo with them.
