Three killed in Russian overnight drone strikes on Ukraine
Russian overnight drone attacks on Ukraine have killed three people and injured 27 across nine regions, including Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that out of 90 drones launched by Russian forces overnight, 10 were successfully shot down. Another 46 drones were either stopped by electronic warfare systems or vanished from radar screens. Local Ukrainian law enforcement reported more than 2,000 strikes along the front line and in residential neighbourhoods, causing damage to buildings and homes. But the thirteenth flew over and didn't explode - it just landed somewhere," said Oleksandr, a resident of Sloviansk. Russian strikes kill 6, injure 24 across Ukraine in 3rd consecutive day of mass attacks
Russia launched its third large-scale aerial and drone assault against Ukraine in three nights, killing at least six people and injuring 24 across multiple oblasts over the past 24 hours, regional authorities reported on May 26. This marks the second consecutive night that Polish air defenses have been placed on high alert due to activity by Russia's long-range aviation, according to the Polish Armed Forces.
