Billie Eilish Adds New Tour Dates — & Fans Are Already Losing It Over Her ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft' Era

(Photo by Samir Hussein/WireImage for Live Nation) Just when fans thought tickets were all sold out, Billie Eilish has hit again — this time with a fresh wave of 2025 tour dates that are sending the internet into a frenzy. On May 17, the Grammy and Oscar-winning artist officially announced a second North American leg of her Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour, expanding what's already one of the most anticipated live music events of the decade. The announcement comes as excitement around Eilish's third studio album, also titled Hit Me Hard and Soft , reaches a fever pitch. After kicking off with shows across Europe, Australia, and select U.S. cities, Billie will now return stateside for a fall 2025 run — adding multiple dates in major markets like Miami, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. The new dates mark a continuation of the global tour that fans have been scrambling to attend since it was first announced earlier this year. Pre-sale tickets for the upcoming U.S. and Tokyo shows will be available to American Express® Card Members starting today, May 20, at 12:00 PM local time for U.S. shows, and May 22 at 12:00 PM JST for Tokyo shows. With standout tracks like 'Lunch,' 'Chihiro,' and 'Birds of a Feather,' the album balances vulnerability and experimentation — delivered with the moody elegance that's become her signature. While the Hit Me Hard and Soft album visuals hinted at a softer, dreamier evolution, Billie's tour wardrobe proves she's still loyal to the look that made her an icon. On stage, she's embracing her signature oversized streetwear — baggy tees, athletic shorts, sneakers, and layered accessories. It's a continuation of her personal comfort-first aesthetic, now sharpened with maturity and intentional restraint. Given her past collaborations with designers like Rick Owens and Gucci, it's safe to say we can continue to expect looks that make just as big a statement as the music. (Photo by Kevin Mazur/for Live Nation) Billie, now 23, has always defied expectations. But this era feels more intentional, more cinematic, and more personal. Co-produced with her brother and longtime collaborator Finneas, the album was designed to be listened to in full — no singles, no skips, just immersive storytelling. Thematically, the album explores identity, longing, loneliness, and desire with poetic depth. It's moody but not melancholic, edgy but not chaotic. And fans are responding in kind, seeing their own emotional evolution mirrored in hers. Billie Eilish Returns Multiple Smashes To The Charts In A Big Week For The Singer

Billie Eilish lands multiple entries on Billboard's alternative charts this frame, led by the ... More returning "What Was I Made For?" and "Chihiro." QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC - SEPTEMBER 29: (EXCLUSIVE COVERAGE) Billie Eilish performs onstage during Billie Eilish HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR Kick Off at Videotron Centre on September 29, 2024 in Quebec City, Quebec. (Photo byfor Live Nation) Billie Eilish already ranks among the most successful musicians of all time on Billboard's alternative charts, despite the fact that she's only 23. While these rankings have only been around for a relatively short period of time — at least compared to other tallies — with just a handful of albums, the singer-songwriter has produced an impressive number of hit singles, including several that have maintained historic stays on both sales and streaming lists. As is often the case with Eilish, she appears on several of the rosters dedicated to alternative music in the United States once again. This frame, she manages to bring some of her most successful tunes back to different-but-related rankings as people keep buying and streaming her most popular works. Eilish returns to both the Alternative Digital Song Sales and Alternative Streaming Songs charts this week. She occupies multiple spaces on each ranking as some tracks rise, while others make their way back to the tallies, which focus on specific forms of consumption, but in each case, only alternative tunes. She claims a pair of spaces on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart, doubling her count as one cut reappears. She raises her total to three current smashes on the Alternative Streaming Songs ranking as a different title bounces back onto the busy tally. Eilish's highest-rising returning favorite comes on the Alternative Digital Song Sales roster. "What Was I Made For?" — her Oscar-winning ballad from the movie Barbie — reenters at No. 8. It has previously led the charge, and if it can manage just one more frame on this list, it will mark a full year on the chart. "Chihiro," a track from Eilish's most recent album Hit Me Hard and Soft, bounces back onto the Alternative Streaming Songs ranking this frame, but only just barely. The cut, which previously stalled in the runner-up spot, lands in last place – at No. 25 – this week. "Birds of a Feather," easily the biggest hit from Hit Me Hard and Soft, is still a huge win on both alternative tallies. It returns to the second-place spot on the Alternative Streaming Songs chart and climbs to No. 4 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales list. "Wildflower," the most recent single promoted from the full-length, grows once more. It ascends from No. 9 to No. 6 on the streaming-only alternative ranking this time around.

Billie Eilish's Global Smash Surges And Becomes A Top 40 Win Again

'Birds of a Feather' continues to dominate for Billie Eilish in the U.K., ranking in the top 40 ... More across four charts, as it returns to that region on several lists. QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC - SEPTEMBER 29: (EXCLUSIVE COVERAGE) Billie Eilish performs onstage during Billie Eilish HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR Kick Off at Videotron Centre on September 29, 2024 in Quebec City, Quebec. (Photo byfor Live Nation) 'Birds of a Feather,' taken from Billie Eilish's album Hit Me Hard and Soft, isn't currently the singer's highest-ranking track on the most important songs chart in the United Kingdom, but it's outperforming her other releases in many ways. As it approaches its first birthday, the single continues to gain ground on several notable rankings, once again asserting itself as an undeniable smash. This week, 'Birds of a Feather' appears on four U.K.-based rankings. That's a feat that's unmatched by either of Eilish's two other currently-charting tracks. Both 'Wildflower,' a newly-selected single from Hit Me Hard and Soft, and 'Guess,' her collaboration with Charli XCX are only present on two lists each. That makes 'Birds of a Feather' Eilish's most visible win in the country at the moment, even if it's not leading on every individual tally. It's not just the number of charts that's notable for the tune, but also the positioning. 'Birds of a Feather' lands inside the top 40 on every U.K. chart it reaches. The track returns to that important region on both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts, where it settles at No. 40. The composition holds steady at No. 14 on the Official Streaming list. Meanwhile, on the more all-encompassing Official Singles ranking, which factors in sales and streaming to rank the most-consumed songs in the U.K., the track dips just slightly. It falls from No. 31 to No. 37 this frame. Among Eilish's three charting tracks, only her collaboration with Charli ranks higher on the Official Singles chart. That tune slides from No. 26 to No. 33, putting it ahead of 'Birds of a Feather' by a few spaces. On the Official Streaming chart, the story is a bit different. The Charli collab sinks from No. 49 to No. 63, making it Eilish's lowest-performing hit on that specific list. 'Wildflower,' which was recently tapped as the next –and likely last – single from Hit Me Hard and Soft, continues to lose ground. The track drops from No. 75 to No. 82 on the Official Singles chart. It also falls a few slots to No. 48 on the streaming list. Of all the tracks from Hit Me Hard and Soft, 'Birds of a Feather' has proved to be the biggest global success. The song has now spent 44 weeks on each of the four U.K. rankings it currently can be found on, far outpacing both 'Wildflower' and the Charli duet. The latter, notably, doesn't even appear on Hit Me Hard and Soft, but instead is featured on the electronic pop musician's Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat. While 'Birds of a Feather' never reached No. 1 on the Official Singles chart — it peaked at No. 2 — it did manage to climb all the way to the top of the Official Singles Sales list, once standing as the bestselling song in the country.
