Terrifying footage has captured people fighting for their lives after a tourist boat carrying 89 passengers capsized off the coast of Bali. The boat had just set off from Lembongan Village, on the island of Nusa Lembongan, at about 4:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday when it was hit by a large wave. Footage captured by passengers shows people kicking IN windows of the ferry as they desperately try to escape the quick-sinking vessel. Others can be heard shouting and wailing as a nearby boat throws rope to people escaping through windows. Separate footage shows the boat completely on its side with passengers scrambling to stay afloat. 5 A tourist boat with 89 passengers capsized off the coast of Bali after getting hit by a large wave. ViralPress 5 The capsized boat's interior filled with water. ViralPress The 125-seat vessel, known as The Tanis, was newly loaded with passengers, and had been backing out on its way to nearby town Sanur, when tragedy struck. Local media reports that the boat was struck from behind by large waves, causing it to take on water. Of the 89 passengers on-board, 77 were foreigners and 12 were Indonesian. Footage showed witnesses rushing to help those trapped on the boat as it tilted and sank further into the sea. 5 Footage captured by passengers shows people trying to escape the sinking vessel. ViralPress 5 A nearby boat threw a rope to people escaping through windows. ViralPress Thankfully, quick-thinking witnesses spotted the boat going down and rushed to the scene, helping to evacuate passengers who could be seen sliding into the water with life-jackets. All passengers were evacuated to safety by 6:30 p.m. local time and no deaths or serious injuries were reported. As a safety precaution, divers have been employed to search the sunken boat and seabed, to ensure there are no victims. Most of the passengers on board the sunken boat chose to remain in Nusa Lembongan after the incident, but two proceeded with the journey to Sanur Harbor. It's understood The Tanis was only in operation for three months before it sank. The terrifying incident comes just three months after an Australian woman was killed after a tourist snorkelling boat capsized in Bali. 39-year-old Melbourne accountant, Anna Blight tragically drowned after their boat was hit by large waves, causing it to flip upside down. 5 All passengers were evacuated to safety, and no deaths or serious injuries were reported. ViralPress The boat carrying 13 people, including 11 Australians, was traveling to the popular island of Nusa Penida when they became overwhelmed by rough surf. Government website Smartraveller has since updated its advice, warning Australians to 'exercise a high degree of caution,' when visiting the country. The website flagged a number of issues including drowning, dangerous boats or ferries, strict entry conditions and alcohol poisoning. 'Australians have drowned in coastal areas, due to rough seas and strong rip currents at popular tourist beaches including in Bali. Many beaches are unpatrolled,' it said.

‘It's a brawl world after all': Disneyland Shanghai turns chaotic over line-cutting dispute
Disneyland is often described as the happiest place on earth; certainly not a place where you'd expect a physical fight. But that's exactly what unfolded at Disneyland Park in Shanghai, China. According to local media reports via Viral Press, a heated argument between two couples waiting at the Crazy Animal City attraction escalated into a physical altercation. The couple, reportedly with a child in tow, were said to be arguing over line-cutting. One couple was also attempting to take a photo together when they were allegedly blocked by the other family, the New York Post reported. In the now-viral clip, two men, one dressed in black, the other in white, can be seen grappling with each other as a woman in a bunny-ear hat tries desperately to separate them. Park-goers, including several children, can be seen watching in shock. The same woman then turns and aggressively shoves a mother holding a child. The video shows the mother screaming and crouching to the ground, clutching her child tightly to her chest in fear. Moments later, the same woman returns to wedge herself between the fighting men once again, this time, grabbing one of them by the throat. The X handle of the New York Post – @nypost – shared the video on Instagram with the caption, 'It's a brawl world after all. A wild fight erupted at Disneyland after a couple and another couple with their child got into a heated argument over line-cutting.' The video has since gained 260 thousand views and 6.2 thousand likes on the social media platform. A post shared by New York Post (@nypost) The viewers were sort of entertained and kind of shocked seeing the brawl. One user commented, 'Don't ask why but the volume was muted but I had the Benny Hill theme song playing on my phone. Absolute cinema.' Another user commented, 'As a mother— why would you even let your kid be exposed enough to get hit.' A third user wrote, 'Doesn't seem like the happiest place on earth.' A fourth user said, 'Gawd, literally the only normal person in this video is the kind woman who took the child out of the crying moms arm to keep her from getting hit (again).' While the New York Post reported that only minor injuries were sustained, both couples could be facing a lifetime ban from Disneyland under the park's strict rules against any form of violence.

My son was called an idiot when cocaine fell out of his passport while on hols in Thailand… but he was SET UP
The small bag of cocaine was spotted by an eagle-eyed immigration officer BLOW BY BLOW My son was called an idiot when cocaine fell out of his passport while on hols in Thailand… but he was SET UP Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A BRITISH mum has claimed her son was set up after a bag of cocaine allegedly fell from his passport during a dream holiday to Thailand – and has warned it 'can happen to anyone.' Michelle Swain, 57, said her family's life turned upside down when son Jamie Louis Swain, 29, was arrested at Phuket International Airport moments after landing with his brother in May last year. He was detained immediately and faced up to 20 years in jail under Thailand's strict drug laws. Police said he reacted with visible shock, began swearing and shaking, and was swiftly arrested. His bags were scanned and the white powder tested positive for cocaine, according to Thai authorities. Michelle alleged the whole incident was a set-up, insisting her son had already passed through two other international airports – Heathrow and Dubai – without issue. She told the Daily Mail: 'His brother got through with his passport and then Jamie gave his passport and they said a bag fell out his passport. 'People say it's because I'm his mum I don't believe it, but to get through two airports and the fact it's happened to other people, I just feel that it was a set up.' Michelle added: 'It must have been put in there. I think this happens more than we know.' Jamie, from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, was reportedly held in a holding cell for two days before being bailed for the equivalent of £250. Watch as cops seize cat with crack cocaine taped to it after gang tried to smuggle drugs into prison using cute kitty His mum flew to Phuket the same night he was detained. 'He was handcuffed in there with a Russian bloke, just them two. He said there was no water, no food, nothing,' she said. He remained in Thailand for nearly three months awaiting a court date. In July, he was fined 50,000 baht (around £1,137) and deported – but not before spending two more nights in a Bangkok prison. Michelle recounted: 'It wasn't very nice in there from what he said. It wasn't good. 'He said everyone in the prison were more interested in his story as a westerner, and they said to him 'you're not going to get out of here'. They said they had been there for years.' She warned other young Brits travelling abroad to stay alert – claiming at least three other people had contacted her with near-identical stories. 'It could happen to any young boys going out there,' she said. There's nothing you can do, you can be careful, but if that happens there's nothing you can do about it.' Thai police said at the time that Jamie had been charged with importing and possessing Category II narcotics. He arrived on Etihad Airways flight EY432 and was caught during a routine immigration check. Police Colonel Padthongtew Damapong, superintendent of Phuket Airport Immigration, said: 'An immigration officer found the cocaine when she was checking the tourist's passport. 5 A scan of Jamie Swain's bag at the airport Credit: ViralPress 5 Officials tested the white powder, which proved to be cocaine by turning blue when combined with cobalt thiocyanate reagent Credit: ViralPress 'The suspect was charged with importing category II narcotics, namely cocaine, into the country and possessing them. 'The suspect was handed over to Sakhu Police Station for further legal action.' Importing cocaine into Thailand carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment and a fine of up to 5,000,000 baht. Possession alone can mean up to five years behind bars. While Michelle admits she's not naive about drugs and has three sons, she maintains Jamie was targeted: 'It was less than a gram, it was ridiculous, but it was enough, as our solicitor said, to get money out of you.' 'It can ruin people's lives. I don't think they see the damage it can do to young boys' lives.'
