'Sex and the City' star Sarah Jessica Parker gets tongue-tied in awkward response to Lauren Sánchez Vogue cover question
Actress Sarah Jessica Parker tripped over her words while trying to avoid answering a question about Lauren Sánchez gracing the cover of Vogue in tandem with her highly publicized wedding to Jeff Bezos. During a game titled 'Hello, Lover, or Leave It?' on Sunday's episode of 'Watch What Happens Live,' host Andy Cohen asked his guest — and longtime pal — how she felt about Sánchez's cover story with the prestigious fashion magazine. Parker, 60, raised her eyebrows and let out a high-pitched 'um' before shrugging her shoulders and lifting her hands up in the air. 'I … I … I … I mean …' the 'Sex and the City' star stuttered with an uncomfortable grin on her face. Eventually, Parker — who has been on the cover of Vogue multiple times over the years, most recently in 2021 — said, 'Why shouldn't she? I was fortunate enough. Why shouldn't she as well have that opportunity?' As for Sánchez, she got her time to shine last month. Mere moments after the former news anchor, 55, said 'I do' to the billionaire Amazon founder in Venice, Italy, in front of a gaggle of famous faces, published an article titled, 'Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos Are Married! See Inside Her Final Wedding Dress Fitting.' For both her cover shoot and the star-studded nuptials, which cost around $50 million, Sánchez wore a lace long-sleeved Dolce & Gabbana gown. The dress featured a corseted waist, turtleneck and buttons from the neck to the floor, culminating in a mermaid-style skirt. The mother of three wore her dark brown hair pulled back into a loose bun, leaving some pieces out in front underneath her lace-trimmed veil. She accessorized with Dolce & Gabbana Alta Gioielleria Miracolo earrings featuring four diamonds cut from a single stone and inlaid in white gold as her 'something borrowed.' Sánchez — known for showing off her fit physique in revealing outfits — drew her inspiration from the high-necked lace wedding dress Sophia Loren's character wore to marry Cary Grant's character in the 1958 rom-com 'Houseboat.' 'It went from 'I want a simple, sexy modern dress' to 'I want something that evokes a moment and where I am right now,'' she told Vogue, acknowledging that the look is 'a departure from what people expect.' But according to Sánchez, she is 'a different person than [she] was five years ago.' As Page Six previously reported, Anna Wintour — who recently stepped down as Vogue's editor-in-chief — helped Sánchez come to a final decision on her gown. Louis Shengtao Chen Resort 2026 Collection
Louis Shengtao Chen was crowned the winner of the 2024 edition of the Vogue China Fashion Fund last October. Since, he's taken a step back to, as they say, get all his ducks in a row. He stepped away from the runway for spring 2025, and put together a lookbook (and a very good collection at that). He skipped the fall 2025 season altogether, and now he's back to launch his first-ever pre-collection, a two-punch effort to expand his commercial footprint and gear up for the spring 2026 season and his return to the runway. Chen said that this collection is a sort of 'part one' to the main event coming in the fall. If that's the case, he put together a rather appetizing amuse-bouche: semi-sheer tailored coats in powdery pastel colors, cutesy floral separates with funky but cool askew seams and cascading ruffles, and a couple of fabulous multi-layered pencil skirts and slips with full godets that make them as flattering as they are weird. Ditto a couple of balloon-hemmed skirts and trousers, its top layers sheer and the under ones cut in white for a vintage-y x-ray look. In some, he's even encapsulated strings of pearls within. Chen cuts a mean dress; the clear evidence seen in prim and proper embroidered tea-length ball gowns and skirts or sinuously cut sheaths. The novelty this season is tailoring, a category Chen has somewhat explored in the past but never wholly committed to. Here he's made elongated waistcoats, some proper office trousers, and a great single-button blazer. Chen has been a particularly interesting designer to follow since his debut. His exuberant style and often explosive, mind-boggling silhouettes have made him a darling of the Shanghai Fashion Week scene, but it often left his followers wondering which parts of his world they'd actually be able to buy into. This past year has clearly afforded him a newfound maturity—he's kept his delightfully bizarro signature style but found ways of making it commercially viable. These are cool, fun clothes. Should he make the jump to Paris during the upcoming ready-to-wear season, as he's previously hinted, he should make sure to continue down this path.

Vogue Williams drops huge baby bombshell ahead of her 40th birthday
Vogue Williams has said she would like to one more child with Spencer Matthews. The couple are already parents to three children, Theodore, Gigi and Otto. But the presenter admitted she doesn't feel like she is done having kids just yet. Speaking to her sister Amber on their podcast, Vogue and Amber, she said: 'I think I'd maybe like to have one more child.' Amber replied: 'Fair enough, copy mum.' Vogue added: 'Copy mum yeah, I know! Well, I'm not forty yet so I have time.' The Howth native also admitted she would like a face lift before she hits 50. The couple have also said in the past that they want to "focus on their family as it is". She told the Sunday Times: "It's funny, because I wouldn't think it's mad to have four." The mum-of-three then hinted that baby number four would be their last, as she added: "But I think it's mad to have five." Spencer also recently spoke about the idea of another baby on the Spencer and Vogue podcast. He said: "I think, for now, we have decided that we want to focus on our beautiful family as it is, because we have had so many years of it just being hectic." "Like, it's just beginning to feel normal now, and every time we get to that, we bolt on another kid. I woke up the other day and thought, 'I've got three f****** kids'. It just suddenly hit me, it was quite weird." Subscribe to our newsletter for the latest news from the Irish Mirror direct to your inbox: Sign up here.

Sarah Jessica Parker Reacts To Lauren Sánchez's Vogue Cover
There was plenty to discuss about the Bezos wedding last month, and it's safe to say Lauren Sánchez Bezos got people talking with her divisive Vogue cover. The 55-year-old bride of Jeff Bezos showed off her Dolce & Gabbana wedding gown — and new double-barrelled last name — on Vogue's June 2025 digital cover, which was paired with an accompanying profile all about her final dress fitting. You can find all the pictures here. You'll hardly need me to tell you that being on the cover of any Vogue magazine, even the digital edition, is super prestigious. And since the Bezos wedding was already a pretty controversial topic, it's fair to say that not everyone was so pleased that Lauren was handed the honor. Some online joked about canceling their Vogue subscriptions, while others accused Lauren and her billionaire husband of buying their way onto the cover. 'None of this is Vogue worthy,' one X user wrote, while others said it was 'embarrassing' for the magazine to be platforming the wedding. It also didn't necessarily help that Lauren's Vogue cover dropped the day after it was announced that Anna Wintour was stepping back from her role as editor-in-chief of the US magazine. (For the record, the two things were presumably unrelated, as Vogue covers are decided many months in advance, but still, it didn't stop people from making jokes.) Anyway, someone who knows a thing or two about being on the cover of Vogue is Sarah Jessica Parker. And, somewhat hilariously, the Sex and the City star wound up in the hot seat when she was asked her opinion on the Bezos cover. While appearing on Sunday's episode of Watch What Happens Live, SJP played a game called 'Hello Lover or Leave It,' which basically involved her having to decide if she loves or hates a particular topic or thing. And when host Andy Cohen raised the subject of Lauren's Vogue cover, his guest was literally lost for words. 'Umm,' Sarah Jessica said as she sat with her mouth agape, visibly struggling to figure out a suitable thing to say. The moment was so awkward that Andy looked right into the camera and shook his head, prompting laughter from the audience (and probably a lot of people at home, too). SJP was still scrambling for the right words, but ultimately settled on the diplomatic route. 'I… I mean, why shouldn't she [be on the cover of Vogue]?' she said, somewhat hesitantly. 'Why shouldn't she, as well, have the opportunity?' I have a feeling there might be some folks out there who are willing to answer that question, but for now, we'll just leave it at that.
