Zhang Yingying says she is dating anew

10 Jun - After her very public breakup with Wang Xiaofei in 2023, Zhang Yingying recently revealed that she is now seeing someone new. Sharing the news on a livestream, Zhang revealed that she hadn't been dating anybody for the past few years and threw herself into work so that she can be a fully independent woman. "But now I have broken my vow!" she said with a laugh. She revealed that her new boyfriend is younger than her, and though they've only known each other for a little over a week, she has already fallen head over heels. She hinted that he's good-looking and wealthy, but that he is not with her for her money. However, Zhang said that she wouldn't want to make the relationship public just yet, and she doesn't want to scare him off. Asked if she is saddened that Wang is now married to Mandy, she responded, "Tears of happiness rolled down my face." (Photo Source: Zhang Yingying IG, Kwong Wah)

(Photos) Barbie Hsu's Ex-Husband Wang Xiaofei Remarries In A Lavish Wedding Ceremony

While fans continue to mourn the death of Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛/大S), the private life of her businessman ex-husband Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) garners media attention. Months after Barbie's death, the public figure tied the knot with his wife, Mandy Ma (马筱梅), in a lavish wedding ceremony. According to reports, Wang Xiaofei and Mandy tied the knot last Saturday (17th May 2025) at the Junwangfu Hotel in Beijing, China. Photos of the private celebration were shared online, showing the couple looking happy in their wedding garments. Mandy wore two styles of a Western wedding dress, along with a red Cheongsam. Meanwhile, Wang Xiaofei opted for a black suit and a traditional Chinese ensemble embroidered with a dragon motif. The wedding was also significant because of the reported cost. According to news outlets, Wang Xiaofei spared no expense for the event, allegedly spending 6.66 million yuan (approximately RM3.9 million) on the dowry. While the couple's wedding favours only had four items, they included a product from the luxury brand Bvlgari. Wang Xiaofei also reportedly asked guests not to give wedding gifts and money packets, showing his generosity. Of course, the union also had its fair share of controversies. Weeks before the wedding, Mandy's ex-husband accused her of infidelity and other allegations. Private photos of the bride from years ago were also leaked onto social media. Chinese fashion designer Lan Yu also reportedly rejected a request to design Mandy's wedding dress because she was a fan of Barbie, sparking debate. The wedding also came a week after the Hsu family observed the 100th day after Barbie's death. Fans recently reached out to the late actress' mother, asking about her thoughts on Wang Xiaofei and Mandy's wedding. The 70-year-old responded, 'I hope they can love my grandchildren and the children Barbie gave birth to with her life. They're (the grandchildren) close to me, but I can't see them. What kind of world and what kind of laws are these?'. Following Barbie's death, Wang Xiaofei gained custody of his two children, whom he shared with the late star. The two married in 2011 but divorced in 2021. Barbie and Wang Xiaofei were in a legal battle for years, up until Barbie's untimely death in early February 2025. Wang Xiaofei and Mandy Ma held banquet in Beijing

19 May - A year after they registered their marriage, Wang Xiaofei and Taiwanese wife Mandy Ma finally held their wedding in Beijing. The wedding was held at the Prince Jun's Mansion Hotel, a courtyard hotel in the traditional Chinese style with over 400 years of history. Wang reportedly held a low-key banquet with only close friends and family members attending, and did not accept any monetary gifts. It was speculated that both of his children with the late Barbie Hsu were also not in attendance, as their official nanny was seen still in Taiwan. Wang said "I do" twice at the altar when asked if they are willing to be together until the end, while Mandy nodded in agreement. Wang's mother Zhang Lan was the happiest of them all. She expressed that as a single mother, she had been as strong as a mountain for many years, and now seeing her son standing hand in hand with his beloved, she finally understood that true love is to find someone who is willing to share both the rainbow and the rain. "You are about to embark on a life that may experience summer rainstorms and the test of autumn winds, but please believe that as long as the roots are tightly intertwined, you will eventually usher in a harvest season as bright as rubies," she expressed. 18-years-younger wife helps Chinese businessman hit 2.4 million livestream views

Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei's livestreams have become some of the most-watched on Chinese social media, and much of the credit goes to his new wife, 26-year-old Mandy Ma. The couple recently attracted a staggering 2.4 million concurrent viewers — a dramatic leap from the 100,000-strong audience Wang had when streaming solo, reported VN Express, quoting News 163. Ma's on-screen presence and casual yet engaging product pitches have not only helped drive sales — like 5,000 units of braised duck neck sold in seconds — but also rehabilitated Wang's public image after a turbulent past. Her influence is so strong that some fans believe she has made Wang more positive and publicly composed. Wang Xiaofei was previously married to beloved Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu. The pair tied the knot in 2011 and were together for 11 years before divorcing in 2021, citing irreconcilable differences. Barbie later rekindled a romance with her former flame, South Korean DJ and musician Koo Jun Yup, and married him in 2022. Tragically, Barbie Hsu died earlier this year from pneumonia triggered by influenza, while on a family trip to Japan during the Lunar New Year. She was just 48. Barbie is survived by her two children with Wang, who now has custody of them. Wang's emotional visit to Taiwan following her death — walking through the rain, visibly shaken — struck a chord with the public. His new wife, Mandy Ma, was seen standing supportively by his side, even expressing her respect for Barbie and her understanding of Wang's lingering affection for his ex-wife. Wang Xiaofei's wife, 18 years his junior, has also been praised on social media for maintaining a good relationship with his two children from his previous marriage. Ma, an influencer and businesswoman, married Wang last year. The couple registered their marriage in May 2024.
