His brilliantly dry wit was the perfect counterpoint to my optimism and made for a fun, dynamic collaboration, and I learned a lot along the way too." Richard added: "When I was first asked about this podcast I thought it was a bad idea, but then maybe it could be ok. And now we've made that bad or maybe ok idea a reality. I hope you listen and agree." Meanwhile, Warwick previously hosted the ITV afternoon quiz show 'Tenable' and has urged fans to rally together to get the programme back on screens after it was axed last year. 'Harry Potter' Star, 55, Wants to Be in Upcoming Reboot
Harry Potter star Warwick Davis, who played Griphook and Professor Filius Flitwick in the original films, says he'd like to appear in the upcoming Max reboot series. While speaking to Entertainment Weekly on May 21, Davis said he has not been asked to film for the upcoming Harry Potter series. He said, however, that he would like to appear in the show if given the chance. "It would be lovely to return to that magical place," said Davis to the publication. He also shared that he is a fan of the franchise, created by J.K. Rowling, because of its messaging. "I loved the Harry Potter stories. The whole concept of what Harry Potter stands for. So to see a whole new retelling of that story can only be a good thing," said Davis during the interview. In addition, Davis said he has remained close to his Harry Potter co-star, Tom Felton, who famously played Harry Potter's (Daniel Radcliffe) rival, Draco Malfoy. "Tom introduced me to Twitter when we were on the movies and we just kept in touch ever since," said Davis. He also noted that Felton recently "presented [him] with [his] BAFTA fellowship." The Willow actor described the experience as "really lovely." "He gave me a lovely speech. So me and Tom are quite close," said Davis to the publication. Davis discussed his time as a Harry Potter star during a 2016 interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "What an amazing series of films to be involved with," said Davis in the interview. He also said he enjoyed playing both Griphook and Professor Filius Flitwick in the final Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, which premiered in 2011. He shared he liked filming Griphook's death scene. "It's always lovely to have a scene death in a film. Fortunately for me, I was alive as the other character beyond that, so it was kind of a win-win," said the actor. The upcoming Harry Potter reboot series does not yet have a release date. 'Harry Potter' Star, 55, Wants to Be in Upcoming Reboot first appeared on Parade on May 23, 2025

He wore a deep blue velvet blazer with smart navy trousers and a black T-shirt for the event. To mark the opening of the fourth theme park at the Universal Orlando Resort, Warwick was joined by his former co-stars Oliver and James Phelps. Oliver and James, who played Fred and George Weasley in the films, walked the blue carpet together. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. During the opening day the most popular ride quickly became Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. The new Harry Potter themed section will transport guests from 1920s Paris to the 1990s British Ministry of Magic, and also features more shops and restaurants. Earlier this year, Warwick left BBC viewers 'absolutely sobbing' when he gave a heartfelt tribute to his late wife during his acceptance speech at the 2025 BAFTAs. The actor was honoured with a BAFTA Fellowship, which recognises those who have made an 'outstanding and exceptional' contribution to the screen. He fought back tears as he accepted the gong and dedicated it to his wife Samantha, who tragically died last year, visibly moving both the star-studded audience and viewers watching at home. Warwick was presented the award by his former Harry Potter co-star Tom Felton, while the audience were shown a montage of scenes from his famous projects, interspersed with clips from his fellow stars and family, praising his talents. Taking to the stage to a standing ovation, he began his speech: 'This is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me... and I've been in Star Wars! 'I'm going to keep this short, it's been a long night... short, yes you can laugh.' Warwick went on: 'I'm going to say thank you to my mum, my first agent, she's the reason I am here tonight.' He then thanked all his team who supported him throughout his career and shared the award with them, before amending: 'Sod that. I've done all the work, it's for me! This is all mine.' While he then became emotional as he dedicated the award to his beloved wife, who passed almost one year ago at the age of 53. Warwick said: 'Above all I would like to dedicate and thank my wonderful wife Sammy who died almost a year ago. 'She was always so supportive of my career and encouraged me to grab every opportunity with both hands.' Samantha - who was herself an actor - had been married to Warwick for 33 years, welcoming three children together, before her devastating death on March 24. Their daughter Annabelle, 27, and son Harrison, 21, were both seen crying in the audience as their dad thanked them helping him get through the tough year.

The Best Fantasy Films to Watch on Prime Video
With titles like The Rings of Power, The Legend of Vox Machina and The Wheel of Time, fantasy shows are clearly a priority for Prime Video. While you can expect to find these original fantasy series every time you open your streaming app, choosing a fantasy movie might be trickier, since Prime updates its selection often. If you have Prime Video, it's time to find out what fantasy worlds you can explore without ever leaving your couch. You can access the streaming service if you have an Amazon Prime membership or grab a $9 monthly standalone subscription. If you prefer your fantasy fare without ads, it costs an extra $3 per month to remove them. New Line Cinema The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-2003) Like all things Lord of the Rings? Not only does Prime Video carry Peter Jackson's original film trilogy -- including the Oscar-best-picture-winning The Return of the King -- but you can binge all three Hobbit flicks, too. See at Prime Video Lucasfilm Willow (1988) This beloved film boasts George Lucas as an executive producer, and takes audiences on a thrilling adventure with baby princesses, bravery and magic. Warwick Davis and Val Kilmer star in the flick, which is just another example of how formidable Prime Video's current fantasy lineup is right now. See at Amazon Universal Pictures The Dark Crystal (1982) In Jim Henson's iconic dark fantasy film, a young Gelfling named Jen -- seemingly the last of his kind -- must go on a harrowing quest to save the world from the villainous (and unfortunate-looking) Skeksis. The movie features animatronic puppets, but no human characters. See at Prime Video
