'Keep an eye out for discounted prices on holidays like Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Black Friday,' she says. She adds another tip: 'If you're interested in a particular dishwasher, you can often wait until the new model rolls out (usually around the fall) and purchase the older model at a discounted price.'Malarkey agrees on both points, and adds the caveat that if you're buying a dishwasher for a remodeling project, 'Absolutely select your appliances before starting the design process. This will allow you to pick the dishwasher you love most, then design around those set dimensions.'
