Wednesday's Weems star Gwendoline Christie's height, past roles and Netflix return

Gwendoline Christie is returning to Netflix's Wednesday, but how tall is the Weems actress and where have you seen her before? Netflix thrilled fans yesterday by unveiling a new trailer for Wednesday season 2 part 2, which featured the return of several beloved characters. ‌ In a surprising development, it looks like Principal Weems (Gwendoline Christie) will be making her comeback in season 2, despite meeting her end in the inaugural season of the Netflix series. ‌ Nevertheless, it appears she won't be returning to the land of the living, but will instead serve as a fresh spiritual mentor for the show's protagonist Wednesday (Jenna Ortega). ‌ As Christie makes her anticipated return to our television screens, viewers have been left wondering about the acclaimed Game of Thrones star's tall stature and what her fresh role involves. Is Gwendoline Christie Wednesday season 2 part 2 trailer? Netflix audiences catch their initial look at Gwendoline Christie's comeback as Principal Weems in the trailer for Wednesday season 2 part 2, reports the Express. After Wednesday's brush with death, the former Head Teacher clarifies to the teenager that she is "not in hell", before presenting herself as a new spirit guide. It seems that Weems, whom the other characters cannot see, will be watching over Wednesday and providing her with guidance in the latter portion of season 2. ‌ How tall is Gwendoline Christie? Gwendoline Christie's stature measures 6ft 3in, with the actress reaching 191cm in height. The beloved star has previously revealed how her considerable height resulted in her being bullied when she was younger. She was additionally informed she would never make it as a performer due to her towering frame, but that proved to be completely wrong. Christie has since revealed that these doubters only spurred her on to chase her dream of acting. ‌ Where have you seen Gwendoline Christie before? Besides Netflix's Wednesday, fans of Severance might have noticed Gwendoline Christie gracing their screens earlier this year, as she took on the role of a mysterious Lumon employee in the Apple TV+ thriller. Game of Thrones enthusiasts will also fondly remember her for her portrayal of the legendary Brienne of Tarth, a role that catapulted her to international stardom. Moreover, Star Wars aficionados may recognise Christie for her role as First Order stormtrooper Captain Phasma in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, a part she has labelled as "revolutionary".

"Wednesday" Drops Trailer for Part 2 of Season 2

Yara Sameh Netflix has dropped the official trailer for the final four episodes of 'Wednesday' Part 2. The footage features the return of a fan favorite character: Principal Weems (played by Gwendoline Christie), who died in the Season 1 finale. In the trailer, Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) wakes up from the coma she fell into after Tyler (Hunter Doohan) threw her out of a window at the Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital. Weems, dressed as a nurse, greets her: 'Rise and shine, sleepyhead! Ready for your sponge bath?'. Suddenly, Wednesday and Weems appear in a dream-like outdoor area with a door that seems to lead nowhere and a massive gorgon head statue with a fireplace in its mouth. 'This isn't hell, Miss Adams, but I understand the confusion,' Weems says. When Wednesday asks, 'If I'm not dead, why are you here?,' Weems replies, 'Because I am your new spirit guide. Surprise!'. In another scene, Wednesday finally explains to Enid (Emma Myers) that she's in danger after keeping it from her during Part 1. When she says that Tyler is planning to kill both of them but that she's going to fix it, Enid replies, 'Fix it? You're the reason he escaped.' Weems appears and tells Wednesday that Enid has a point, but Enid can't see her. The footage continues to show Wednesday, Enid and others traversing through Nevermore and Jericho, with Weems saying in voiceover, 'If you don't hurry, you'll have nothing left to save.' The voiceover matches the voice of Lady Gaga that closes the trailer, saying, 'Beware, there will be a price to pay.' The pop star has been announced as a Season 2 guest star, but details of her character have still not been revealed.
