Kim Tate's masterplan that would change Emmerdale forever

Kim Tate has a bold new plan (Picture: ITV) Kim Tate (Claire King) finally revealed her grand plan to Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) in tonight's Emmerdale. Kim has mentioned her project a couple of times recently, but the exact details of it were kept under wraps. We know that she's currently working with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), who bought Annie's land back from Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb). However, in this evening's episode, Kim confirmed she has no long-term intention of collaborating with the Sugdens. After yesterday's events with Doctor Eddie Crowley (James Hillier), Joe told Kim that he'd work hard to regain her trust. In the kitchen, Joe happily listened to Kim speak about her new project, and made sure she knew that he'd be happy to help with it. Joe betrayed Kim this week (Picture: ITV) On the table was a map of the village and surrounding fields. Kim confirmed to Joe that her plan is to buy all of the land that sits around Home Farm, in order to have the largest farm in North Yorkshire. She knew it would be an expensive project, but Kim then revealed that she's been told the land could be used commercially soon, rather than agriculturally. It means that if Kim owns the fields and the use for them does change, she can capitalise on it. Doctor Crowley wanted to steal all of Kim's money (Picture: ITV/Metro) Follow Metro Soaps on WhatsApp and get all the latest spoilers first! Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Joe highlighted that if Kim doesn't buy Annie's land, her idea might not work. She then smiled at Joe, confirming she already has a plan in place for that. The Tates are already loaded with money anyways, but Kim wants more. She told Joe that she intends to make the Tate legacy live on and if this is a success, they'll more powerful and richer than ever before. Sally and Tim break big news about Lou to shocked Brody in Coronation Street

With her attack on Gary Windass (Mikey North) having been exposed, Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty) is currently in prison in Coronation Street. Her husband Mick (Joe Layton) recently tried to escape from jail himself, where he's awaiting trial for killing PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith). His plan was to gather his kids and Lou together and they would flee abroad as a family and go on the run. This didn't work out, with the result that Mick is back behind bars and Lou was deemed to be a flight risk and has also been remanded in custody. Meanwhile, Sally and Tim Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor and Joe Duttine) have been taking care of the Michaelis's two daughters Shanice (Molly Kilduff) and Joanie (Savanna Pennington). They've offered to have Brody (Ryan Mulvey) stay with them, too, but initially he preferred to sleep in his own house, determined to prove his independence. In upcoming episodes Sally takes Shanice and Joanie to visit Lou in prison, but Brody refuses to go. During the visit Lou tells Sally she's planning to plead not guilty, and will need money to cover her legal fees for her defence. She asks Sally to help her out by taking out a bank loan. Whether Sally would have been prepared to do this or not, it's not long before she gets a phone call at home from social services. Lou has, in fact, pleaded guilty. Sally and Tim break the news to Brody that, having pleaded guilty, Lou is looking at a long prison sentence. Her dearest wish is for her son to come and visit her. Will he do as she asks? Brody has had a lot to deal with over the past few months. Not long out of a secure training centre himself, he was quickly in trouble for various petty crimes as soon as he arrived back in Weatherfield. More Trending Then his world was rocked when he found out that Mick wasn't his biological father, and his dad was really police officer Kit Green (Jacob Roberts). When Mick broke out of prison he ended up stabbing Kit and leaving him seriously wounded. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? Emmerdale's Cain vows to kill Nate's killer as John reels

Nate Robinson's (Jurell Carter) funeral in tonight's episode of Emmerdale left Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) making an important statement to his family. Yesterday, Cain confronted Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) again and told her that the Dingles will be at the funeral tomorrow, whether she likes it or not. The showdown between the Dingles and the rest of Nate's relatives featured the family walking through Main Street with Sam Dingle (James Hooton) banging a drum. Outside the church, Cain and Tracy began arguing again but it was stopped by John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth). He wanted Cain and Tracy to call a truce, but it was clear he also wanted them to stop because his guilt was becoming overwhelming. John had to completely ignore his guilt again a moment later, as Tracy asked him to read her eulogy. With DS Walsh present and it now village gossip that Tracy was entitled to Nate's life insurance, she feared reading the eulogy would fuel the theory that she killed Nate for cash. John stood up but with eyes on him, the pressure was on. Instead of reading Tracy's speech, he spoke from the heart himself, noting that Nate was a good man, and wouldn't want Tracy and Cain constantly fighting. At the wake, as Nate's family gathered in the pub, Cain stayed at the graveside for a moment to himself. He was then joined by Tracy, who admitted in an emotional conversation that she knows Cain didn't kill Nate. And Cain then admitted the same – he knows Tracy didn't murder Nate either. It was a huge moment for the two characters, who hugged to comfort each other over the grief. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? After finding some common ground, Tracy and Cain returned to the pub with the conclusion that they can figure out who killed Nate, if they both work together. More Trending As residents started to depart the pub, John and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) discovered Cain and Tracy's new plan. Cain concluded that he may have let Nate down while he was alive, but he's not going to do the same thing anymore. He said that he will find who murdered Nate and when he does, he'll kill them. And suffice to say John was very afraid.
