Dangerous allergen triggers nationwide chicken soup public health alert
A public health alert was issued for ready-to-eat chicken soup products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The 'Signature SELECT Creamy Chicken & Wild Rice SOUP with White Meat Chicken' contains wheat, which is not mentioned on the product label, according to the United States Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
