Your friendly, pint-sized neighborhood Spider-Man is swinging back into action next month. The animated series Marvel's Spidey and His Amazing Friends has set a Monday, June 16 premiere date for Season 4, launching across Disney Jr., Disney Channel and Disney Jr. on Demand. Additionally, the season's first six episodes will be available to stream on Tuesday, June 17 on Disney+. "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" Renewed for Season 2

Yara Sameh 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place' has been renewed for a second season at Disney Channel and Disney+. The followup to the classic Disney sitcom 'Wizards of Waverly' place originally debuted in October 2024. Production on the new season of the Disney Branded Television series will begin in May in Los Angeles. 'I'm overwhelmed by all the love for the series and ready to keep serving this new generation of 'Wizards' fans with more Russo magic, while continuing to deliver a big warm hug to the original fan!' said executive producer and series star David Henrie. 'So many surprises in store for this second season. It's going to be big, so stay tuned!'. Henrie reprised the role of Justin Russo in the new series, and is joined by castmates Janice LeAnn Brown, Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, Taylor Cora, and Mimi Gianopulos. The official description of the series states that it 'follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada (Gianopulos), Roman (Thiele) and Milo (Matenko). When Justin's sister Alex (Selena Gomez) brings Billie (Brown) to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities — and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World.' Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas serve as writers and executive producers, along with executive producers Gary Marsh, Jonas Agin, Gomez and Henrie. 'Wizards of Waverly Place' was created by Todd Greenwald. Per Disney, the first episode of 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place' was the Disney Channel's most-watched series premiere ever on Disney+, drawing 3.2 million views in its first 12 days. A view is defined as total runtime divided by hours viewed. Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Renewed for Season 2

'Rebootus renewus!' Billie and the Russo family will return for a second season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, TVLine has confirmed. The series is a continuation of the hit Disney Channel sitcom Wizards of Waverly Place (2007–2012), which starred Selena Gomez and David Henrie as magical siblings in constant competition, each hoping to one day be named the 'Family Wizard.' Beyond Waverly Place picks up more then a decade later, with Justin (Henrie) now raising a mortal family on Staten Island after putting down his wand for good. But Justin's nice, normal world is rocked when Alex (Gomez) shows up at his doorstep and asks him to train a young wizard named Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown). Oh, and Billie may or may not be the key to preventing the apocalypse. No big. Additional cast members include Alkaio Thiele as Justin's older son Roman, Max Matenko as Justin's younger son Milo, Taylor Cora as Billie's friend Winter and Mimi Gianopulos as Justin's wife Giada. 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place' gets 2nd season, production begins next month

"Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" has been renewed for a second season. Disney Branded Television announced Monday that the hit series, a continuation of the Emmy Award-winning show "Wizards of Waverly Place," will get another season starring David Henrie, Janice LeAnn Brown, Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, Taylor Cora and Mimi Gianopulos. Production on the new season begins "next month," according to Disney. The show announced the news of season 2 with a fun TikTok video featuring the show's stars. Selena Gomez, David Henrie talk reuniting for 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place'e Henrie, who also serves as an executive producer on the series alongside his former "Wizards of Waverly Place" co-star Selena Gomez, said he is "overwhelmed by all the love for the series." In a statement shared in a press release, he added that he is "ready to keep serving this new generation of 'Wizards' fans with more Russo magic, while continuing to deliver a big warm hug to the original fan!" "So many surprises in store for this second season," he added. "It's going to be big, so stay tuned!" "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" follows Henrie's character, Justin Russo, who has magical abilities but "has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo," according to a synopsis. "When Justin's sister Alex (Gomez) brings Billie (Brown) to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities -- and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World," the synopsis states. "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" premiered in October 2024. At the world premiere in Hollywood in October 2024, Henrie and Gomez spoke to "Good Morning America" and shared how they wanted "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" to be a "love letter" to fans who grew up with the original series and to "pass the wand to a new generation" of fans. 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place' gets premiere date, will arrive just in time for Halloween "I think we did that," Henrie said at the time. "I'm stoked for people to see that. We worked really hard to make sure we did that." Gomez added, "It was a really wonderful experience bringing it back, and it is going to be exciting to see what people think, but it's going to be a ride no matter what."
