Create Account Bagwell, a five-time World Tag Team champion with WCW, shared the news ahead of the surgery last week. With his fiancee Stacy Brown, Bagwell said in a YouTube video that the leg had to be amputated nearly five years after an August 2020 car crash. Bagwell detailed how he was inebriated at the time of the crash and hit a structure behind a mall, with part of the building collapsing on him, injuring his kneecap. He was in hospital for seven weeks and has since had 21 surgeries. He added that he's been sober for nearly three years now after going to rehab in August 2022. I thought I was going to be able again to once fix it,' Bagwell said on the video. 'I've got a relationship with Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour. I got a great relationship with Stacy — let's fix this leg. And it just… it just didn't happen.' Bagwell says he has had '39 or 40 surgeries,' including 'knee replacements, flap surgeries, (and) extensor mechanism repairs.' He said 'everything happens for a reason. I'm not like depressed… I fought the fight. I look down and I can say, I tried.' Despite the amputation, Bagwell said he still wants to get back into the squared circle. He told former wrestler Maven Huff he wants to get back into the ring. 'You don't have to give up with something like this. This is something that I am taking by the horns, man. And I'm going to show the world that you can have just as good a life with or without a leg.' Bagwell's friend Steve Stasiak shared a photo of Bagwell after his operation. 'I've known Buff a long time. I've seen him in the spotlight, I've seen him behind the scenes, and I've seen him fight through things most people never even hear about. This one… this is hard. For him. For everyone who knows and loves him,' Stasiak wrote. This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below. Check out our sports section for the latest news and analysis. Kenzie Paige Doesn't Want Fans To Think She's ‘Wasting Away' In NWA

Kenzie Paige is one of the youngest and top talents in the world of professional wrestling. She is the current NWA Women's World Champion and also enjoyed a reign as NWA Women's World Tag Team Champion. Recently, Paige was interviewed by WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. During the interview, Paige shared that she hopes that wrestling fans see and understand that she's trying her best in the NWA. She believes that she is building herself and the company, and doesn't want people to think that she's wasting her time. Advertisement 'I hope they just see that I really am trying with the NWA. I really am trying to build it back up and whether it be on my back and my sister's back, then that's what it is. So, that's what we will take. We'll take and run with it. But for how young I am and how much heart and time I've put into it, I don't want people to think I'm wasting away in the NWA. 'I'm really trying to build something up while I am here. You know what I mean? So, all the history made, the people I've faced, the trials and tribulations that I've went through, it means something to me and I know, one day it is going to mean something to everybody else,' Kenzie Paige said. Kenzie Paige recently squared off with WWE's Natalya During the same interview, Paige shared her thoughts on her match against WWE Superstar Natalya at the NWA Crockett Cup. Paige called it a dream match, and she was ultimately successful in beating Nattie via pinfall. Advertisement More fireworks came after the match, however, as Natalya got involved in a scuffle with a trolling fan. This resulted in her hitting him in the face, and the incident was questioned for being staged. However, it's worth noting the 'fan' in question was wearing a Kenzie Paige shirt. Natalya commented on the match afterwards, claiming she gave Paige the same 'Nattie Rub' that she gave another WWE Superstar. What are your thoughts on Kenzie Paige? The RAW after WrestleMania 41 brought all the fallout from both nights of the grand spectacle from the T-Mobile Arena. It was a memorable night in the history of the show that ushered WWE into a brand new season moving forward. Opening segment with John Cena The new and record-breaking 17-time WWE Champion, John Cena, makes his entrance to the ring. He demanded a better ring introduction from the announcer and addressed his victory. Cena berated the fans as they chanted 'We are sorry.' However, Cena dismissed them and revealed that he had to show up only for 27 more dates before retiring as the 'Last Real Champion.' Rusev makes his return to WWE An in-ring altercation between The Alpha Academy and The New Day took place in the ring over the WWE World Tag Team titles. As they were about to come to blows, the lights went out, and Rusev made his return to WWE. He entered the ring and took out both Otis and Akira Tozawa with his submission move, the Accolade. IYO Sky vs Stephanie Vaquer The match was made after Stephanie Vaquer came out to congratulate IYO Sky for retaining her WWE Women's World title at WrestleMania 41. The fans already chanted 'This is Awesome' before they even came to blows. The match was looking to be a stellar showdown until NXT stars, Roxanne Perez and Giulia, interfered in the bout. That led to Rhea Ripley's appearance to take down Perez, but Giulia avoided her, and Ripley helped IYO to her feet. As he was getting ready to inflict more damage, Bron Breakker suddenly appeared and speared Reigns. He is revealed to be the newest Paul Heyman Guy as both Rollins and Breakker stand tall with him. WrestleMania 41 results: The New Day bolts after winning World Tag Team titles

The New Day are one of the most accomplished tag teams of all time. (Photo by Michael Marques/WWE via Getty Images) (WWE via Getty Images) The New Day are 13-time tag-team champions. WrestleMania 41, Night 1 got off to a big start with two title changes, as Jey Uso forced now-former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther to tap to a rear-naked choke, and The War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) followed that up by dropping their World Tag Team titles to The New Day's heel duo Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Advertisement Kingston and Woods immediately gained momentum after some vintage heavy offense from Ivar. The New Day targeted Erik with their assault at the match's start, drawing several comments from WWE commentators about Erik's past neck injuries — which also alluded to Kingston and Woods' history with longtime former stablemate, Big E. Woods embraced the heel role by paying homage to the likes of Ric Flair before some Hardy Boyz-esque double team moves. Ivar became the main man for his team after the hot tag and got into control, setting up a potential War Machine finisher. Kingston then countered it from the outside, grabbing Ivar's feet on the ropes to save Woods, before the duo set up an elevated stomp finish for the win. Advertisement Kingston held Ivar's free foot, but it was more anticlimactic than dirty. The New Day grabbed their titles then sprinted back up the ramp with no Big E in sight. Check out highlights of The New Day's championship-winning match below. Catch full WrestleMania 41, Night 1 results, highlights and match-by-match coverage here.
