The former drummer of The Regrettes was spotted with the Bangerz singer at Gucci's Love Parade runway show, which took place in November 2021. E! News confirmed their relationship status in October. 'Miley and Maxx are still going strong and their relationship is very serious,' an insider source revealed. 'They have been together for about a year now and Miley is really happy.' They added, 'Everyone in her family loves them together and thinks they mesh really well.' Another source told Entertainment Tonight, 'Miley and Maxx have been having a good time together,' the source tells ET. 'They've been together for a little while and are just enjoying their relationship. 'The whole family loves Liam.' However, the two called off the engagement on September 2013. Months earlier, rumors came out that the Hannah Montana alum and the Hunger Games star split. Miley dispelled the rumors by saying, 'I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it,' she posted. 'I didn't call off my wedding. Sources say that the 79-year-old 'I Will Always Love You' singer has been urging the 32-year-old singer to chuck her grudges, and Miley's answered the call — reuniting with Billy Ray to celebrate her brother Braison's 31st birthday May 9. 'My dad and I have had our challenges over the years. Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else,' the 'Wrecking Ball' singer says. 'I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing.' According to a insider, Miley's words were sweet music to Dolly's ears. 'Dolly is Miley's godmother and they've been close since Miley was so young,' says an insider. 'But Dolly is also close with Billy Ray and the family feud was breaking her heart.' The 'Jolene' singer reportedly advised Miley that the only way Billy Ray can snap out of what seems to be a midlife crisis is if his family is unified and focused on helping him. Last January, Dolly, fans and family grew concerned after Billy Ray's bizarre performance at President Donald Trump's inauguration where he appeared confused by a bunch of technical difficulties and at one point asked the audience: 'Y'all want me to sing more, or you want me to just get the hell off the stage?'
