Dhanush Sings ‘Adangaatha Asuran' at AR Rahman's Mumbai Concert, Fans Go Wild

Rahman for his concert in Mumbai. The actor gave a surprise to his fans when he came on stage during the Mumbai leg of Rahman's 'Wonderment' tour. The duo delivered a powerful live rendition of 'Adangaatha Asuran," a song from the film Raayan. The videos are going viral on social media. Dressed in casuals, Dhanush was seen coming on the stage when fans started screaming his name. The actor also waved at them and then sang the song. To note, the song Adangaatha Asuran is composed by A.R. Rahman with lyrics penned by Dhanush. It has been celebrated for its fusion of traditional Tamil rhythms and contemporary beats. Dhanush-Nithya Menen's Idly Kadai wraps filming
After completing the remaining portions of the film, the makers of Dhanush's much-anticipated Idly Kadai have announced that the film has officially wrapped shooting. Helmed by Apart from Dhanush, the film also features an ensemble cast consisting of On the technical team, has music by GV Prakash Kumar, who is reuniting with Dhanush after Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, Vaathi and Captain Miller. It has cinematography by Kiran Koushik, editing by Prasanna GK, and production design by Jacki. Idly Kadai is made collaboratively by Dawn Pictures, Red Giant Movies, and Wunderbar Films. Aakash Baskaran and Dhanush are the producers, while Sreyas Srinivasan is the executive producer.

Dhanush's ‘Idly Kadai' wraps final schedule in Bangkok
It's official — Dhanush's much-awaited film Idly Kadai has wrapped up filming! Wunderbar Films announced that the final schedule concluded in the vibrant streets of Bangkok, Thailand. Sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses, the production house tweeted, '#IdlyKadai Shoot Wrapped at Bangkok, Thailand!! Open from 1st October, 2025 Worldwide.' Fans can now mark their calendars for the global release on October 1, 2025. Idly Kadai is written, directed, and co-produced by Dhanush under his banner Wunderbar Films, alongside Dawn Pictures. The film features Dhanush and Nithya Menen in the lead roles, with a powerhouse supporting cast including Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Prakash Raj, Sathyaraj, Parthiban, P. Samuthirakani, and Rajkiran. Originally planned for an April 2025 release, the film faced delays due to extended production schedules. However, with shooting now complete, excitement is building rapidly. Boasting music by G.V. It's a wrap for Dhanush's ‘Idly Kadai'
The shooting of Idli Kadai, the fourth directorial of actor Dhanush, has been completed. The makers have confirmed that the production has been wrapped up after a final schedule in Bangkok, Thailand. The production house's X account shared photos from the last day of the shoot and confirmed once again that the film will hit theatres on October 1. The movie is produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films in association with Aakash Baskaran's Dawn Pictures. Idli Kadai stars Nithya Menen and Arun Vijay in prominent roles. Nithya Menen is reuniting with Dhanush after their hit movie Thiruchitrambalam (2022). With music scored by GV Prakash Kumar, the film has cinematography by Kiran Koushik and editing by Prasanna GK. The makers have so far released posters of the movie. One of the posters featured Dhanush in a rural look, with idli containers, while the other features him as a young boy next to actor Rajkiran, who starred in the lead in Dhanush's directorial debut, Pa Paandi. In one of the posters, Arun Vijay is seen inside a boxing ring with Dhanush.

Fire breaks out on the set of Dhanush-starrer Idly Kadai, video goes viral. Watch
Fire broke out on the set of Dhanush's upcoming film Idly Kadai at Anuppapatti village, located in the Andipatti block of Tamil Nadu. The incident took place on Sunday. Fortunately, it happened after the crew had finished shooting at the location. The cause of the blaze remains unknown. Idly Kadai is a film, directed and co-produced by actor Dhanush. According to ANI, no injuries have been reported. However, a horrifying video of the incident surface online. In the video, a massive fire break out can be seen burning several houses made of bricks, seemingly for the shoot. Details of the damage or losses incurred due to the fire is yet to be out. Dhanush had announced his film back in 2024 and has promised to release it later this year. The film, which will also star him in it, will be his fourth directorial venture. Since announcement, the makers of the film have shared several posters. One of the posters showed a roadside shack against a starry night where a man can be seen watching a shopkeeper sitting inside a shop. The film's music is composed by GV Prakash. Kiran Koushik will be the cinematographer of the film, Produced under the banners Wunderbar Films and Down Pictures, Idly Kadai will be edited by Prasanna GK. Dhanush was last seen in the film Raayan, which had released to mixed reviews and had collected Rs 154 crore at the box office. That film too was directed by the actor himself and was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 100 crore. That film, however, was produced by Kalanithi Maaran, under his production banner Sun Pictures.
