Transfer news LIVE as Celtic and Rangers plus Aberdeen, Hibernian and Hearts eye signings

Miller's crossing Lennon Miller's dad Lee has hinted that the midfielder will leave Motherwell to join a club abroad - with a big expected within the next two weeks. The 18-year-old is widely viewed as one of the brightest talents in Scottish football and rounded off a successful season with the Steelmen by earning his first caps for Scotland against Iceland and Liechtenstein. He has faced intense speculation over his future with Udinese and Como among the interested parties - while Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is understood to be a fan of Miller. The wonderkid missed the first game of the season for the Lanarkshire club as Jens Berthel Askou's side secured a Premier Sports Cup bonus point win over Clyde. Lennon picked up a little niggle, which in pre-season these things happen to loads of players. It's just precautionary. These things happen to loads of players - he might be out for 7-10 days, maybe two weeks, I don't know. These things happen throughout pre-season games and they were just resting him yesterday. It's not serious. Hopefully he will be back soon. Pressed on if he was expecting a "big offer" to come in from an unnamed side I think there will be a bid that comes in, if not this week maybe next week. But there is a lot of talk behind the scenes, and the clubs are speaking together and we will see what happens. The thing is with Lennon, he just wants to play football. He would have played in that game yesterday, he just wants to play football, go an enjoy it, and that is what he does best. He was then quizzed of a move overseas appealed to Miller Jr rather than remaining in the Scottish Premiership. Miller said: "Yeah, potentially. You look at Billy Gilmour, Lewis Ferguson, (Scott) McTominay doing their thing abroad. They are in Italy and Max Johnston has done really well as well (in Austria with Sturm Graz). "And he wants to be a part of that as well. He has got ambition and he wants to play at the highest level possible. "He has done really well for Motherwell last season, and finished off the season with two Scotland caps, which is tremendous, and he obviously capped it off with Young Player of the Year as well. So, he had a great season last season and he wants to take it to another level, so we will see what happens in the next few weeks."

Wolves have just cashed in on Cunha by selling the Brazil star to Manchester United for £62.5m. Rak-Sakyi came through the ranks at Crystal Palace, winning the club's Young Player of the Year award and being tipped to replace Wilfried Zaha, who enjoyed a similar trajectory. But as is often the case in football, five years down the line, the forward is yet to make his mark at Selhurst. Those who know him say his potential is limitless, but he just needs a manager who will trust him with consistent minutes in the Premier League. Palace are reportedly willing to part ways with him, as the club looks to rebuild ahead of their European adventure after winning the FA Cup. The Eagles are set to play in the UEFA Europa Conference League next season, after being booted out of the Europa League due to a complicated multi-club ownership situation involving Lyon. Palace have stated they will fight the decision with the club's ultra fans planning a protest and accusing UEFA of only thinking about money. SunSport understands they will be heading to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to try to overturn UEFA's verdict. Eberechi Eze to Tottenham LATEST | Transfers Exposed This means the club is now battling on two fronts, challenging their European demotion while also trying to strengthen the squad for next season. Any potential incomings or exits will likely take longer than the club would have hoped. But given the circumstances, this summer is shaping up to be a tough one for everyone associated with the club. Rak-Sakyi, though, will be hoping for clarity on his future so he can focus on playing football, whether that be at Palace or Wolves. The Eagles are also anticipating bids for both Eberechi Eze, who has suitors at Arsenal, and Marc Guehi, who has long been linked with Liverpool.

Lennon Miller transfer offer 'expected' by Motherwell as dad Lee drops hint on imminent next destination

Celtic have been among the interested clubs but look set to miss out on the playmaker Lennon Miller's dad Lee has hinted that the midfielder will leave Motherwell to join a club abroad - with a big expected within the next two weeks. The 18-year-old is widely viewed as one of the brightest talents in Scottish football and rounded off a successful season with the Steelmen by earning his first caps for Scotland against Iceland and Liechtenstein. ‌ He has faced intense speculation over his future with Udinese and Como among the interested parties - while Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is understood to be a fan of Miller. ‌ The wonderkid missed the first game of the season for the Lanarkshire club as Jens Berthel Askou's side secured a Premier Sports Cup bonus point win over Clyde. But Lee insists that his son has only picked up a minor knock, telling BBC Sportsound: " Lennon picked up a little niggle, which in pre-season these things happen to loads of players. It's just precautionary. "These things happen to loads of players - he might be out for 7-10 days, maybe two weeks, I don't know. These things happen throughout pre-season games and they were just resting him yesterday. It's not serious. Hopefully he will be back soon." Pressed on if he was expecting a "big offer" to come in from an unnamed side, he added: "I think there will be a bid that comes in, if not this week maybe next week. "But there is a lot of talk behind the scenes, and the clubs are speaking together and we will see what happens. "The thing is with Lennon, he just wants to play football. He would have played in that game yesterday, he just wants to play football, go an enjoy it, and that is what he does best." ‌ He was then quizzed of a move overseas appealed to Miller Jr rather than remaining in the Scottish Premiership. So, he had a great season last season and he wants to take it to another level, so we will see what happens in the next few weeks." Celtic had been understood to be watching the Motherwell prospect - and former Aberdeen and Falkirk striker Miller didn't close the door totally on a switch to the Glasgow giants. ‌ Asked about how going to "one of the big two here" - Celtic or Rangers - or abroad would benefit his current side, he rounded off: "Lennon has been great for Motherwell, and Motherwell has been great for Lennon. "It has been a really good fit, and it has been carefully thought of beforehand. There has always been clubs in for him since he was 14 - whether it was down south or up here - but there has always been a path at Motherwell, and it has been carefully thought out. "Some people would say 'why didn't you go to X,Y and Z club for this money?' - but he has played, he is is the youngest appearance holder for Motherwell and the youngster goalscorer - which is a testament to him. "There is a lot that has happened in his life but he goes on the football pitch, plays his game and enjoys playing football.'
