Dhamar province hosts events commemorating Wilayah Day

Dhamar - Saba: Branches of the Water Resources and Facilities Authorities, Rural Water Projects, Zakat, Rural Electricity, Land Affairs, Health and Economy Offices, Customs and Control, Traffic Police, the Electricity, Water, and Sanitation Corporation, the Reform , Rehabilitation Authority, and the Red Crescent Society in Dhamar province organized speech events marking Wilayah Day. The events, attended by local and executive leaders as well as social figures, emphasized that commemorating this occasion represents part of the Yemeni people's faith-based heritage and serves as a continuous reminder of the message of Wilayah (allegiance) to ensure its resonance endures and its meaning reaches the nation across generations. Speeches highlighted the victories, dignity, and empowerment achieved by the Yemeni people, as well as advancements in strategic deterrence systems, drone warfare, and missile capabilities to confront the nation's true enemies—"America and the Zionists." They affirmed that true victory can only be achieved through allegiance to Allah, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the guiding leaders, as Wilayah forges a strong and triumphant nation, resilient against conspiracies and plots. The speeches stressed that the nation's dignity and independence are inseparable from the principle of Wilayah, which preserves its identity and sovereignty—evident in the steadfastness of the Yemeni people over the past years. The addresses reiterated that those who pledge allegiance to Allah, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the guiding leaders cannot submit to America or yield to the Zionists and their tools. They emphasized that the principle of Wilayah elevates the nation's consciousness to confront tyranny and its agents. The speeches also explored the significance of the historic event in Islamic history, proclaimed by the Prophet (PBUH) at Ghadir Khumm on the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah in the 10th year of Hijrah, following the Farewell Pilgrimage. This declaration established the Wilayah of Imam Ali (AS) and laid the foundation for the Ummah's path after the Prophet (PBUH). The speeches underscored the importance of raising awareness among society's members about Wilayah as a means of safeguarding the nation from allegiance to Jews, Christians, and their allies, as well as those who follow their path. Lashkar Resurfaces At Muridke Headquarters, Damage Inflicted By India Seen On Camera

Last Updated: Lashkar-e-Taiba cadres were seen gathered in what remains of the prayer hall at the Muridke headquarters - seen visibly damaged from the India's operation Sindoor. Weeks after India dismantled key terror infrastructure in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor, terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) is showing signs of regrouping, with top intelligence sources warning of a strategic revival under the guise of reconstruction and religious outreach. Fresh visuals accessed by CNN-News18 through top intelligence sources show LeT resuming Friday prayers at its Muridke headquarters, a site long known as a nerve centre for radical indoctrination. A small group of cadres, believed to be local residents or administrative workers, were seen gathered in what remains of the prayer hall—seen visibly damaged from the May 8 Indian strikes. Intelligence sources say it is the same hall where LeT founder Hafiz Saeed, his brother-in-law Abdul Rehman Makki, and more recently his son Talha Saeed, regularly led sermons and jihadi discourses. In a second video, the extent of the destruction becomes even clearer. Entire blocks of the Muridke complex appear devastated. A third image shows the Bahawalpur headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) with its roof caved in, confirming the severe impact of the Indian strikes on both terror outfits. The retaliatory strikes were launched by Indian forces after the April 22 Pahalgam massacre in Kashmir, where 26 civilians were killed in a brutal assault attributed to LeT operatives. Following mounting evidence of their involvement in the terror attack, India decided to hit the epicentres of terrorist planning and training in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK). While the strikes inflicted heavy damage, intelligence sources caution that the campaign against terror is far from over. 'This is not the end of their operations," a senior official stated. 'They are now relocating their activities with the full logistical and material support of the Pakistan Army." The officials further warn that LeT and JeM are expected to exploit the destruction for financial gain. 'They'll tap into the sympathy network across Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, and other Muslim countries, collecting vast sums under the guise of Zakat and reconstruction aid," one source revealed. The Pakistan government has reportedly vowed to rebuild the mosques and Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD) headquarters in the Muridke area — one of the nine terror bases hit by India during Operation Sindoor. The Pakistan Markazi Muslim League, a political wing of the banned JuD and a front for Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), said last week that the government has assured them Muridke would be developed at its own expense, reported news agency PTI. Earlier this week, Pakistan's federal minister Rana Tanveer Hussain had visited Muridke and said that the Pakistani government has pledged to rebuild the area at its own expense. Most concerningly, a recent event in Kasur on May 28 saw several known jihadist leaders sharing the stage, signaling a unified front and a reinvigorated ideological campaign. Saifullah Kasuri, alias Khalid, a top Lashkar-e-Taiba commander and one of those behind the Pahalgam terror attack, was spotted at a public rally in Kasur. top videos View all According to multiple reports, Pakistani politician Malik Ahmad Khan was also seen sharing the stage with Khalid. In a video that was widely circulated on social media, Saifullah Khalid could be heard spewing venom against India, Hindus, and the Bharatiya Janata Party. He also referred to the Pakistani terrorists killed in India's 'Operation Sindoor' as 'martyrs". 'I was informed that there was a terrorist attack in India on April 22, and later I came to know that India had referred to me as the mastermind of the attack," Khalid could be heard saying at the rally. 'We are not going to be scared by bullet shots and firing, and we aspire to die as martyrs," he said. 120 Saudi Government Staff Detained For Suspected Bribery, Job Exploitation

Saudi Arabia's state anti-corruption watchdog has interrogated 435 suspects this month and arrested 120 of them on suspicions of graft amid a relentless clampdown on white-collar corruption in the kingdom. The detainees are employees at the ministries of interior, defence, municipalities and housing, human resources, transport, and health, as well as the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority said. They were investigated on charges of bribery and job exploitation. The watchdog, known as Nazha (Integrity) has reaffirmed its commitment to monitoring, exposing, and prosecuting anyone involved in abusing public office, vowing to protect public funds and reinforce transparency in both public and private sectors. In recent years, hundreds of state employees and businesspeople in Saudi Arabia have been interrogated for suspected corruption and mismanagement of public money. In January, local media reported that Saudi authorities had arrested 1,708 people in 2024, including government staff, over suspicions of corruption, money laundering, and influence trading. These arrests followed 4,000 investigations and over 37,000 oversight rounds. During last year's Hajj season, Nazaha also carried out 9,600 inspections at Mecca's holy sites and affiliated agencies, resulting in 155 arrests linked to corruption.

Taptap Send introduces direct donations to charities in Pakistan from abroad

For overseas Pakistanis looking for a more seamless way to give back to their communities, Taptap Send has launched a powerful new feature: direct charitable donations to registered nonprofits in Pakistan, accessible within the app. Fast, zero-free, and built for diaspora Since its founding in 2018, Taptap Send has built a strong reputation as one of the most efficient and affordable remittance platforms for Pakistanis abroad. With zero transfer fees*, great exchange rates, and 95% of transactions arriving within a minute**, it's no surprise that the app has become a top choice for users in the USA, the UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, and the UAE. Now, the app is going a step further: making it just as easy to support trusted charitable causes as it is to support loved ones. A simplified way to give Zakat, Sadqah, and Qurbani Traditionally, overseas Pakistanis looking to give Zakat during Ramzan, arrange Qurbani during Eid ul Adha, or offer Sadqah throughout the year would transfer funds to family members, who would then make the donation locally. This process was often inconvenient and lacked transparency. Taptap Send's new feature eliminates that hassle by enabling users in the USA, the UK, and Europe to contribute directly to vetted nonprofit organisations in Pakistan, all with a few taps. What the community asked for 'This launch is a reflection of what we've heard from the Pakistani community for years,' says Saim Chaudhary, Head of South Asia at Taptap Send. 'People want a more direct, trustworthy way to give — especially during meaningful times like Ramzan and Eid. We're proud to make that possible with just a few taps. It's about making giving easier, safer, and more impactful.' Saim Chaudhary, who has led Taptap Send's expansion into South Asian markets such as Pakistan and Bangladesh, believes this feature reflects the company's continued focus on understanding and addressing regional needs. Transparent, vetted giving — all in one place The donation platform within the app connects users with a growing list of pre-screened, registered charities operating in areas like education, health, poverty alleviation, and religious giving. By partnering only with vetted organisations, Taptap Send ensures that donations go directly where they're intended. As giving becomes increasingly digital, Taptap Send's latest update offers a safe, reliable, and efficient path for overseas Pakistanis to stay connected to their values — and to the causes that matter most. UAE summer: Dubai to provide shaded areas at mosques, public spaces

With another sweltering summer on the horizon, the UAE has taken steps to provide relief to residents with the launch of an initiative to help them cope with the intense heat and humidity. The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments & Zakat on Friday, May 23 said that it will provide dedicated shaded areas in Mosques and public squares, offering much-needed protection from the intense heat and the high temperatures. The initiative will witness the installation of canopies and other shaded structures, aimed at providing cooler and more comfortable environments for worshippers and the general public. The intiative is already underway at several locations and will be expanded in the coming months.
