The new Zootopia 2 trailer: What does it tell us?
The first teaser trailer for the new Zootopia movie is out and it's full of music and mystery. The trail starts with an original song called 'Zutu' by Zootopia 2's lemming techno group, as long as you're not too busy having a bop to this banger, played for the duration of the new trailer, there's a lot to take in. The sneak peak is full of your favourite characters from the first movie, and we even get a hint that Judy Hopps, the police department's first rabbit cop, and sly fox, Nick Wilde have a brand new partner in crime. Meet the "mysterious pit viper" named Gary De'Snake as we meet our first reptile character in Zootopia. It also seems like the trio are up against a brand-new cloaked villain with some serious secrets. But who or what animal could it be?The official description for he movie's storyline says: "Judy and Nick find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De'Snake arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down. "To crack the case, they must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before." The first Zootopia film was released nine years ago in 2016 and won an Oscar movie award for Best Animated film. Jared Bush, Disney Animation's chief creative officer, says: "We are beyond excited to welcome everyone back to the outrageous, expansive animal metropolis of Zootopia, and take audiences on a hilarious, wild ride into parts of the city we've never visited before," in the trailer we see the usual Zootopia city but also an underwater world, a giant desert, and an icy kingdom too.

'Zootopia 2' : Actor Ke Huy Quan to voice a mysterious snake

'Everything Everywhere All at Once' star Ke Huy Quan will be voicing a pit viper in the movie who is set to play a lead role in the sequel as per the teaser trailer of the movie. Actress Ginnifer Goodwin and actor Jason Bateman reprised their animated roles as Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, respectively, alongside a cast of new animal characters. In the sequel, Judy and Nick put their detective skills to use as they tackle another case. They are joined by a blue pit viper played by actor Ke Huy Quan. As per Variety, he joins the cast as the snake Gary, as the ' Zootopia ' world expands to include reptiles and other semi-aquatic creatures. The original 'Zootopia' followed bunny cop Judy and con-artist fox Nick as they solved a missing animal case. In the teaser trailer, Nick, Judy, and Gary are seen being chased by police through various districts of Zootopia. As they run around Zootopia, they encounter a mysterious hooded figure with glowing eyes. DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — It's been nearly a decade in the making, but Zootopia 2 is almost here. Walt Disney Animation Studios released a teaser trailer for the film, which is a sequel to 2016's Zootopia. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde return and are still working together as police officers, as they were at the end of the first film. The two encounter a snake, who they eventually become entangled with. According to IMDb, this new character is named Gary and will be voiced by Ke Huy Quan (Indiana Jones 2, Everything Everywhere All At Once). The studio has teased a mysterious, new adventure for Hopps and Wilde. Judy and Nick find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town.
