HUNDREDS of wizards, witches, and magic creatures were spotted in York over the bank holiday weekend.
Wizard Fest, organised by Dan Wood, the 'Wizard of York', concluded yesterday (May 26) after a busy three days of wizard festivities - co-hosted by Little Vikings and supported by Make it York – with 25 different activities set up for magic lovers to enjoy.
Around a hundred people gathered in St Helen's Square on bank holiday Monday at 3pm for a fancy dress parade down Stonegate to York Minster to mark the end of the weekend of celebrations.

It's been so lovely to have so many families enjoying the festivities of the very first Wizard Fest; we've had Lego workshops, bath bomb making, owl trails, cat hunts, and wizard walks.
'It's been a really busy three days. We can't wait to do it all again next year.'
