Sydney Sweeney flashes her abs in sizzling campaign... after training to play a boxer for new movie
Sydney Sweeney flashed her abs in a new ad campaign that debuted this week. The 27-year-old blonde Hollywood pinup was posing in white tops for the Gen Z fashion brand American Eagle. The bombshell from Washington state looked ripped after training for a year to play a boxer in a new movie. Sweeney is playing professional boxer Christy Martin in an upcoming biopic titled Christy. The movie explores Martin's groundbreaking career, her struggles with domestic abuse, and her lasting impact on women's boxing. The film will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September. Sweeney will also produce the film through her production company, Fifty-Fifty Films. American Eagle is thrilled Sweeney has joined them this year. The brand says it's thinking 'bigger than ever before' for its new marketing campaign The company's fall campaign, titled Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans. 'I have great jeans…now you can too,' wrote Sweeney on Instagram as she debuted one of the commercials. AE is changing how it runs marketing campaigns by focusing on only one celebrity. In the past, it has featured multiple public figures in ads. Sweeney — who has also partnered with the brands Dr. Squatch, Baskin-Robbins and Jimmy Choo — seems to be an ideal partner for American Eagle. Sweeney's stylist, Molly Dickson, worked with the brand on campaign looks. Sweeney also designed her own American Eagle jeans with a butterfly design. All net proceeds from the jeans will benefit Crisis Text Line. American Eagle's CMO, Craig Brommers, told Modern Retail that Sweeney is 'the biggest get in the history of our brand.' 'We've had a lot of success working with multiple talent in one season, so it's not like that recipe is dead,' Brommers said. But there are only a few celebrities that have the cachet to be the face of a dual-gender brand, and Sydney is one of them. When she was into the idea of working with us, that's when you say, I think this is a special, unique moment, and it needs to feel like that.' This comes after news Sweeney is reportedly set to launch her own lingerie line. The actress' latest business venture has received backing from Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and his new wife, Lauren Sanchez, who have 'invested' in new brand. A source told Us Weekly that Sydney's new lingerie line is launching 'very soon'. The blonde beauty - who has recently become one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood - has actually been working on the lingerie line for 'for the last year' and it's now close to launching. The insider explained: 'This has been a huge project for her and something she's been working on for the last year.' Sydney has enjoyed a meteoric rise in recent years, starring in TV shows such as Euphoria and The Handmaid's Tale, while she's also worked with a host of big-name brands, including Laneige and Frankies Bikinis. The movie explores Martin's groundbreaking career, her struggles with domestic abuse, and her lasting impact on women's boxing The actress - who ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino earlier this year - has also been tipped to play a Bond girl in the next 007 movie, with director Denis Villeneuve reportedly keen to hire Sydney for his upcoming film. A source recently told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: 'Sydney is the top name on the casting sheet for Bond. 'Denis believes she is hugely talented, as well as having an alluring appeal to younger generations, vital in modernizing the franchise. 'They've hung out together a lot and he has admired her stratospheric rise. 'Plus Sydney has the quality of being athletic and able to perform physical scenes, as well as being feminine and following in the legacy of the Bond girls.' Denis was unveiled as the director of the next Bond film last month and he vowed to ' honor the tradition' of the character, who will be played by a new actor after Daniel Craig walked away from the movie franchise. The filmmaker said in a statement: 'Some of my earliest movie-going memories are connected to 007. I grew up watching James Bond films with my father, ever since Dr No with Sean Connery.

Trainers Say This Everyday Activity Is Secretly Amazing for Your Core
Trainers Say This Everyday Activity Is Secretly Amazing for Your Core originally appeared on Parade. While exercises like crunches and sit-ups can effectively target your core and abdominal muscles, they're not exactly anyone's favorite exercises. And they might not even be necessary if you're already doing some other specific movements during your day. After all, many people tend to overlook the fact that there are everyday activities that you may already do (or can do if you're not already) that can activate your midsection and maybe even give you six-pack abs. Although many day-to-day activities target your core muscles, Parade tapped personal trainers to learn even more about the one they deem most effective, best practices to adhere to when performing this daily task to maximize your results, and how to know when (or if) you're overexerting to dive in? 🩺SIGN UP for tips to stay healthy & fit with the top moves, clean eats, health trends & more delivered right to your inbox twice a week💊 The Everyday Activity That's Secretly Amazing for Your Core, According to Trainers All of our experts agree that carrying (or lifting) a heavy load (especially on one side of your body) is secretly amazing for your core. Carrying groceries serves as an excellent example of this. 'This mimics a farmer's carry [exercise],' explains and trainer at Form Fitness Brooklyn. 'In this exercise, you hold heavy weights in your hands while standing tall and walking."'Your body is going to adapt and activate its deep core stabilizers to keep you staying upright, balanced, and moving [when carrying groceries]," says Alexis Iannucci, NASM, CPT, New York City-based certified personal trainer. 'Without even thinking about it, your core is working overtime to resist rotation and maintain your posture.' She adds that you're working several different core muscles when participating in this activity, including the transverse abdominis (or deep core muscles), obliques and rectus abdominis. To put it simply, movements (or in this case, activities) that cause your core to work to resist force help its muscles grow stronger. Related: While carrying groceries, a child or luggage (especially in one hand) can target your core, there are other everyday activities you shouldn't count out. Holly Roser, NASM, CPT, certified personal trainer and owner of Holly Roser Fitness Studios in New York City and San Francisco, adds that other activities, including walking uphill, can also successfully engage your core. 'Walking uphill requires stabilization of your trunk, causing your core to activate more than walking on flat ground," she says. How to Maximize This Everyday Activity While you don't have to put too much thought into carrying your groceries (if you don't want to), doing so can help you maximize results when it comes to targeting your core. Unless you're seriously in a rush to get your groceries back home, you should focus on taking it slow. 'Most people go through carries as fast as they can, but we end up losing form and not using the core when we speed through it,' explains Jane VanderVoot, NASM, CPT, CFSC, a certified personal trainer and founder of Movement & Mindset. 'Imagine you're walking on the moon and go slowly to get the most bang for your buck." Although you can hold your bags of groceries down at your sides and still see results, Stephen Holt, CSPS, personal trainer at and the owner of 29 Again Custom Fitness, says that you can make the time you spend carrying your groceries even more effective by holding the bags at shoulder level.'The higher (in altitude the weight, the tougher the exercise is,' he 'I'm a Personal Trainer and This Is the One Workout I'll Never, Ever Do' Your form matters (yes, even when carrying groceries). Harvey notes that you should always brace your core as you stand upright and be mindful of not having your feet cross over one another while walking. Vandervoort and Harvey note that even intentionally carrying your groceries once or twice a week can lead to positive and consistent results over time. 'Favoring one side isn't ideal; trying to alternate sides or distributing weight evenly helps prevent asymmetry and imbalances," adds Iannucci. Related: Trainers Are Begging You to Stop Making This Super-Common Exercise Mistake That said, , a Los Angeles-based performance coach and certified personal trainer, notes that you want to ensure you're taking diaphragmatic breaths and are sure not to push your body (especially if it hasn't recovered or is in recovery mode). Roser adds that the same diaphragmatic breaths should go for uphill or incline walking too. Up Next: Sources: Keri Harvey, NASM CPT, a trainer at Form Fitness Brooklyn. Davina McCall looks incredible as she shows off six pack in latest workout after insisting she's 'not scared of dying anymore' following brain tumour
proved that she is stronger than ever as she showed off her rock-hard abs during a fierce home workout. The TV presenter, 56, stunned fans on social media on Saturday after posting a clip of her latest training session, flaunting a sculpted six-pack. Wearing a white crop top, blue shorts and gym trainers, Davina powered through a tough cardio and abs session in her home gym – flexing her muscles and grinning as she smashed her reps with ease. The fitness fanatic has always been a champion for staying active, but this latest glimpse proved she has come back even stronger after her recent health scare. In November, the Masked Singer star revealed she was diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare type of benign brain tumour and underwent a six-hour operation. Speaking about the terrifying ordeal at the time, Davina admitted her tumour - whom she called Jeffrey - made her 'angry', but now, she is showing what resilience really looks like – and her fans are lapping it up. Taking to the comment section they wrote: 'You can grate cheese on those abs' 'Absolute powerhouse'; Look at those legs'; 'Awesome Davina. Looking strong and AMAZING'; 'You are such an inspiration Davina'. Earlier this month the star insisted she's 'not scared of dying anymore' following her life-changing brain tumour. Speaking at Fearne Cotton 's Happy Place Festival at Gunnersby Park Davina explained how it has shifted her perspective on life. 'I am not afraid of dying anymore and it was the biggest journey of my life from August 2023 to November 2024', she admitted. 'I want to help people on their deathbed on my Begin Again podcast now so they can say "I have lived the life I wanted and not think things like "I wish I had not done that job. I wished I had not stayed in this relationship". 'Sometimes I feel like there are other powers at play. All the fear that comes around the word "tumour". Fearne and I understood each other at that time. 'I mean, it's a really amazing place to get to, not being scared of dying. I think having no regrets and feeling like you are living fully in the life you want to be in, it's quite rare.' Earlier in the year Davina admitted her tumour - whom she called Jeffrey - made her feel 'angry', but now, she is showing what resilience really looks like - and her fans are lapping it up Davina has long credited regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle with helping her stay strong – both mentally and physically. Speaking to The Telegraph earlier this year, Davina explained that she actually only works out for half an hour, four times a week as she said: 'People are like, 'What? Oh, we thought you were doing two hours, five days a week!' 'It's because I post snippets of my half-hour workouts and everyone thinks I'm doing it all the time.' Admitting she used to spend more time in the gym, Davina added: 'I worked out for longer in my 30s because I didn't realise I could get the same results while doing less. 'If you work out efficiently for half an hour, you'll get as much as from a sloppy 45 minutes to an hour. I'm always time poor: three kids, work, meetings, there's always stuff to do, and I don't have an hour and a half or two hours to work out every day.' Revealing her current workout regime, Davina explained she goes to her home gym after her morning coffee for a 30 minute workout two to three times a week. Focusing on strength training she uses her own health platform Davina Own Goals and follows one of the many workouts on there. The star uses 0.5kg weighted gloves for arm exercises as well as 5kg or 6kg weights and will also wear a weighted vest for full body exercises like squats. She also likes to go out on a run once a week as she revealed she has been doing Couch to 5k to get her fitness back after her surgery. Mixing in some intervals, Davina will add in some minute-long sprints to her runs to help her cardiovascular system. And weeks after a successful operation to remove the growth, Davina revealed her survival felt like a 'gift' while she reflected on the success of her new Begin Again podcast. Taking to Instagram at the end of December, the TV star recorded a video as she thanked fans for their support over her latest project, while also looking back on her own health journey as she admitted she feels like she's 'begun again'. She explained: 'Thanks for joining me on my Begin Again podcast. I've loved recording this podcast, and I've loved meeting everybody. 'What I've enjoyed about recording this podcast is, it's so so broad. Begin Again can mean anything, it can mean something similar to what I've just been through, which is having a life-threatening tumour and it being removed. 'I feel like I've begun again, I mean in the weirdest sense, I guess because I've had a positive outcome. It's like being given a second chance at life. It feels amazing, almost as if I've been given a gift.'

Drake mercilessly roasted for ‘fake' six-pack abs: ‘Arms and chest sold separately'
The internet mercilessly trolled Drake for his 'fake' abs after the rapper shared a shirtless mirror selfie showcasing his ultra-chiselled midsection. In the snapshot, the Nokia hitmaker revealed his glistening six-pack and tattoos while posing behind a stocked bar. He also shared a brief video clip of himself jogging shirtless down a park path. 'I'm wide awake for the nights that separate the type who get to it til they get it right from the type who just … type,' the Grammy-winning artist captioned the post on the weekend. But sceptical followers took to the comments to jokingly speculate about how the rapper achieved his dramatically toned waistline. 'Ordered abs from temu n forgot to add shoulders n [triceps] lol,' one person quipped, while another mocked, 'Boy stop playing! The only place you ran was to the surgeon.' 'Arms and chest sold separately,' a third wrote, while a fourth bluntly claimed, 'Those are fake.' 'The abs do not match the body,' yet another observed, while someone else wondered, 'Arm definition surgery is next month?' 'I just came here for the comments and they sure as hell delivered …,' another user noted of the public roasting. Adding fuel to the speculation, plastic surgery Instagram account @surgeonmade_curves reposted the photo, claiming in the caption that Drake, 38, 'did it again.' The account alleged that the Canadian rapper, who consistently shares content from his workouts on social media, is 'no stranger to the surgery table.' 'This man be too hype to show them abs/body and gives it away every single time,' they claimed. Drake was previously labelled 'BBL Drizzy' by fellow rapper Rick Ross following rumours the Degrassi star underwent a Brazilian butt lift and other cosmetic procedures. But this latest shirtless selfie isn't the first time Drake has made a provocative play for attention. Ahead of rival Kendrick Lamar's showstopping Super Bowl halftime show in February, the Hotline Bling rapper was spotted in an eyebrow-raising outfit while stepping out in Australia. The Toronto-born MC rocked a suggestive T-shirt with the words, 'Wait till u see my,' with an arrow pointing downward to his privates. He added bright yellow shorts and accessorised with a blue beanie hat and blue cowboy boots for the outing to Gibney restaurant Down Under.
