Man in hospital after late night 'assault' in Bromley
A man is in hospital following reports of an 'assault' in Bromley. Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called shortly after 11pm on May 30 to Oakridge Road with details of an incident. They were dispatched to the scene with London Ambulance Service colleagues, where a man was found suffering injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in an unknown condition. The man's condition has yet to be confirmed (Image: Contributor) Enquiries are underway. A Met Police spokesperson said: 'On Friday, 30 May at 23:13hrs police were called to Oakridge Road, Bromley following reports that a man had been assaulted. Person suffering from serious injuries after animal attack

Police said they were called to an animal attack at about 2.15pm on Monday on Makino Road, a rural road in Manawatū north of Feilding. "The victim has sustained serious injuries and will be transported by ambulance to Hospital. The animal has been destroyed." Hato Hone St John confirmed crews responded to a 'farm incident' in Halcombe with one ambulance, one rapid response unit, and one manager. A St John spokesperson said one person in a serious condition was treated and transported to Palmerston North Hospital. Car flips into orchard off of Highway 101, slowing traffic

To get breaking news alerts, click here A flipped vehicle off of Highway 101 brought traffic to a standstill outside of San Luis Obispo on Sunday afternoon. The California Highway Patrol responded to a small white SUV going off northbound Highway 101 just before the Higuera Street off-ramp and crashing into an orchard at 1:47 p.m., according to its traffic incident page. The SUV flipped on its way down and was 15 feet from the highway down the embankment, the CHP page said. It was unclear if there were any injuries resulting from the crash. Ambulances and a tow truck were en route as of 2:30 p.m., according to the CHP page. Heavy traffic resulted from the crash, backing up to the Mattie Road off-ramp in Shell Beach as of Sunday at 2:30 p.m., according to the Caltrans QuickMap.

Man dead after shooting incident at shopping centre in Ireland
A man has died after a shooting incident at a shopping centre in Co Carlow. The incident happened at the Fairgreen Shopping Centre in Carlow town around 6.15pm. It is understood that the dead man's wounds were self-inflicted. The Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team has been requested to attend the scene as a precaution. The body of the man is still at the scene and will not be removed until the area has been declared safe. The shopping centre has been evacuated, and a large cordon is in place. Police, ambulance and fire services are at the scene, and a helicopter was hovering overhead. A police spokesperson said: "At this time, there is no further concern for public safety." A patient was treated at the scene of a crash in Darlington today but refused hospital treatment after a suspected 'medical incident'. Ambulance were called to the Morton Park roundabout at 11.06 this morning (May 31) after reports of a one vehicle crash. The patient was treated at the scene but refused hospital treatment, the ambulance service confirmed. An eyewitness of the crash posted on Facebook that everyone was okay, despite being a bit 'shaken'.
