Fire destroys two cars, damages exterior of apartment building in Little Rock
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Crews with the Little Rock Fire Department put out a blaze that destroyed two cars and caused damage to the outside of an apartment building Saturday morning. No injuries were reported, and damage was limited to the exterior of the Barton Oaks Apartment building, which is located a few blocks west of the State Capitol. Fire destroys building on Markham Street in Little Rock Officials said that the fire is believed to have started in one of the two burned vehicles. Dog rescued after Providence apartment fire
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Crews were able to save a dog from an apartment fire on Saturday evening. Firefighters were called to Gesler St. after smoke was reported coming from the third floor an apartment building. The occupant was not home at the time, but a dog was rescued safely. St. Paul apartment fire leaves 14 displaced, 3 injured
The Brief An apartment fire in St. Paul left 14 residents displaced and three injured. The three that were injured were taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, but is under investigation. ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - A St. Paul apartment fire left 14 residents displaced, and three people injured Saturday morning. What we know According to the St. Paul Fire Department, police and fire crews responded to a two-alarm fire on the 500 block of Rice Street. Flames were showing from the second floor of the three-floor building, authorities said. Police made the initial entry to the building and were able to evacuate seven people from the first floor of the building. Fire officials say they received reports of trapped residents in the building, and they evacuated six to seven more residents from the third floor. The fire was eventually extinguished on the second floor, before it could spread to other floors and units. Two St. Paul police officers and one resident were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Authorities said 14 adults were displaced after the entire building was condemned. The Red Cross and the building management are helping those were displaced. Multiple cats were also displaced after the fire. Residents displaced after apartment fire in Craig, Red Cross responding
DENVER (KDVR) — Tens of residents are displaced after a fire damaged multiple units in an apartment building in Craig early Saturday. Sgt. Cordova with the Moffat County Sheriff's Office told FOX31 that the call came in at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, reporting a fire at the Remington Village Apartments. FOX31 Newsletters: Sign up to get breaking news sent to your inbox The Craig Police Department was the first to arrive on the scene and officers helped residents to evacuate the building. The sheriff's office and Craig firefighters arrived shortly after. The West Route Fire District and Craig Fire attacked and got the fire under control. The sheriff's office said one building was involved, and all 16 units inside were impacted by the fire. As a result of the fire, the sheriff's office said 20-30 people were displaced. Several people were evaluated for smoke inhalation on the scene, but no one was taken to the hospital and no serious injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains unknown. Red Cross said its disaster action team volunteers are responding and are 'bringing comfort and care to those displaced.'
