Sophie Habboo reveals she is four months pregnant and lifts the lid on how she told 'crying' husband Jamie Laing that she was expecting

Sophie Habboo has revealed she is four months pregnant and lifted the lid on how she told husband Jaime Laing that they were expecting. The pair - who met on Made In Chelsea and married in 2023 - announced the happy news that they were having their first child on social media on Tuesday morning with a sweet clip of them at a scan. And just a few hours later they appeared together on their drive time Radio 1 show where they broke their silence on the pregnancy. Last week it was revealed that Sophie, 30, would cover for Jamie's usual radio co-host Vick Hope who is now on her maternity leave. Opening their show on Tuesday, Jamie, 36, said: 'There is an elephant in the room and we should definitely talk about it!' The pair - who met on Made In Chelsea and married in 2023 - announced the happy news that they were having their first child on social media on Tuesday morning with a sweet clip of them at a scan Sophie then quipped back: 'Don't call it an elephant!', before Jamie added: 'We have something pretty big to talk about...' Speaking in unison they joyfully said: 'We're having a baby!! We're very excited guys.' An excitable Jamie then added: 'We announced on social media this morning that Sophie is pregnant.' Sophie then went on to say: 'It's so good to get it out. I feel good and relieved to say it out in the open. 'It feels so real and nice now and connect with other people about it now.' Jamie then revealed: 'We found out about four months ago!' He then revealed how Sophie told him the happy news: 'When we first found out I was gaming on the weekend sat on the sofa in my boxers. 'And I could tell something was off and then you came over to me crying and I thought I had done something wrong! 'And then Sophie said to me that she was pregnant. It was surreal and a big moment.' Sophie then sweetly added: 'I think you will be a great dad!' Opening their show on Tuesday, Jamie, 36, said: 'There is an elephant in the room and we should definitely talk about it!' Sophie announced she was expecting her first child with her husband Jamie in a post on Instagram on Tuesday. The sweet clip showed them having an ultrasound as Sophie looked delighted staring at the screen. The post was simply captioned with a heart emoji and was soon flooded with well wishes from their followers. Sophie and Jamie married in a lavish Spanish wedding in 2023 surrounded by their famous pals and family after getting together on Made In Chelsea in 2019. Their celebrity pals were quick to comment on the post as Molly-Mae Hague said: 'Congratulations guys !!!!' Strictly's Dianne Buswell added: 'Omg congratulations guys so so exciting!' Author and Jamie's close pal Elizabeth Day added: 'So happy for you both!' Sophie's sister Georgia - who welcomed her first child last year - reshared the post saying it was the 'best news'. The announcement comes just after Sophie joined Jamie in presenting his Radio 1 drive time show when his co-star Vick Hope left on maternity leave. Vick, 35, who is expecting her first child with DJ Calvin Harris, 41, hosted her last show on the station last week. Sophie and Jamie already host their podcast NewlyWeds together - with the duo recently revealing it would be going on a break. In an Instagram update last week, they announced: 'The podcast is taking a break?! We're pressing pause but only for a moment.' A source later told The Sun: 'Sophie is joining the Radio 1 family and everyone is really excited that she'll be bringing her chemistry with hubby Jaime to the airwaves. 'They're already pros after doing their podcast for so many years but this is a huge moment for them and they can't wait. 'It could lead to endless opportunities for them as a couple. They could even be a modern day Richard and Judy.' Sophie recently sparked pregnancy rumours as she shared a bikini Instagram while touching her stomach. And back in April Jamie and Sophie spilled the beans on their baby plans. The pair got candid about their future plans on building a family during a chat with The Times. 'I was really scared about kids,' Jamie explained. 'It's something you can't control. Sophie would then carry a baby, all these different things that I can't control and, 'Oh God, what happens if this happen or that happens?' But I saw a clip on Instagram where someone said, 'The best thing I ever had is being called Dad.' 'I was like, 'Oh, wouldn't that be cool?' So now I'm so down for it. I would like to have loads.' Jamie added he would be up for four kids, and the blonde beauty agreed with him sweetly. Sophie and Jamie had two weddings - a civil ceremony at Chelsea Town hall before jetting to Spain for a bigger, more lavish ceremony. A host of their Made In Chelsea co-stars were in attendance including Sam Thompson, Olivia Bentley, Emily Blackwell, Spencer Matthews and Oliver Proudlock. Blonde beauty Sophie got engaged to Jamie in December 2021 after they started dating in April 2019 on the show. At the time they revealed that they turned down offers to film their wedding for a Made In Chelsea special – just after the Strictly star quit the E4 series to save their romance. The couple revealed they had decided against turning their nuptials into a reality spinoff show because Jamie believed relationships have a better chance of surviving away from the cameras. The Candy Kittens owner told MailOnline reality TV is 'tough on the soul' and after realising he wanted to marry former co-star Sophie he knew his departure from Made In Chelsea was inevitable. Jamie revealed: 'We got asked to do a TV show but it's tricky. 'I have done reality for so long and it's tough on the soul. I don't think TV is ever on your own terms so unless you have control over those things then it's quite difficult. 'It's one of those things that you must decide whether you want to go down the reality TV route again or not. 'Once you get married, what happens then? Do we do another show about being married… when does it end? For the moment I am parking reality.' In agreement with her husband-to-be, Sophie added at the time: 'It is a day for us and our family and friends.' Jamie and Sophie found love on the show after being friends for several years. Their romance caused quite a stir as Sophie had been pals with several of Jamie's exes.

Arabella Chi gives birth to a baby girl! Love Island star welcomes her first child with businessman boyfriend Billy Henty

Arabella Chi has welcomed her first child with businessman boyfriend Billy Henty. The Love Island favourite, 34, announced the exciting news that she had given birth to a baby girl on Instagram on Friday. Sharing an adorable black and white photo of the newborn, she confirmed her name and weight. Arabella captioned the post: 'Our worlds are complete. Gigi Harper Henty. 20/05/2025 6.2 lbs.' For their lavish baby shower, which was held at a Mexican restaurant on Kings Road, guests were served cocktails named Princess Paloma, Miss Margarita and Angel Fresco in honour of her baby girl. A number of Arabella's star-studded pals also came to celebrate including Georgia Harrison, Olivia Hawkins and Dancing On Ice star Ferne McCann. Arabella and entrepreneur Billy found love after starring on the first All Stars series last year, and announced they were expecting their first child together in December. The bombshell and Billy went public with their relationship in October. The model revealed that she has 'always wanted to be a mum' as she discussed finding the one in her boyfriend. Arabella admitted the couple 'moved in together straight away' after meeting through mutual friends. She was previously linked to Premier League footballer Ruben Dias, Leonardo DiCaprio's 'close pal' Richie Akiva and French rugby player Yoann Huget. Although Arabella found herself back in the Love Island Villa in January 2024, she once again was unlucky in love... at least until she met Billy. Speaking in an interview with MailOnline about her pregnancy, she said: 'I'm so happy, and she's such a blessing and I'm so thrilled.' She continued: 'It wasn't a surprise. I've always wanted to be a mum. We've thought of names, so we're very excited.' Adding of her birth plan, Arabella said: 'I don't think it's something any woman is particularly excited about, and from what I hear it's quite painful, but it's part of parcel of being a woman.' 'I think it's an amazing experience what the human body does, so I'm going to take it in my stride, and knowing that I'll have a beautiful daughter at the end of labour will all be worth it.' Elsewhere, Arabella gave an insight into her relationship with Billy and revealed her hopes to get married. 'I met him through mutual friends, so it was a really nice meeting,' she explained. 'We were literally just out for drinks one night, and I met him. At the time I thought, wow – he is an amazing guy, and he turned out to be the one.' She continued: 'It's really nice that's he's not in the showbiz world. My parents have met him, and love him, and he ticks every single box – he's amazing!' 'We moved in together literally straight away, so we're just waiting for the baby now. When you know you know!' Now a proud mum of a baby girl, Arabella previously admitted if she was told she was having a baby a year ago she 'would have laughed in your face'. Speaking to The Mirror during her lavish baby shower in Chelsea this weekend, she said: 'I loved how me and Billy met, it was organic. 'It's hard to do that in this day and age. He's out of this world. And I love that. It's refreshing.' Billy, who tries to keep out of the spotlight, added: 'I can't wait to be a girl dad. It's life changing. It's my own little family. Arabella's amazing. She's got a heart of gold.' Billy explained their little girl is 'extra special' and was 'meant to be' because of Arabella's previous struggles with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). She added: 'When I found out I was pregnant it was magical. With my PCOS I don't know if I'll be able to have more children so she's special.' Arabella added that timing was everything for the couple and she feels so 'lucky' to have found the one. The model said: 'I've learned to trust the timing of your life because life will happen how it's supposed to happen. I can't believe that a year and three months ago I was in the Love Island villa. I feel so lucky to have found my forever partner.'
