Man's body discovered in Queen's Park in Swindon

A man's body has been discovered in a public park, sparking a police investigation. Wiltshire Police said they responded to reports of a body being found at Queen's Park in Swindon just after 07:30 BST on Tuesday. A cordon has been put in place and the park closed off to the public to allow officers and forensic teams to preserve and examine the scene. An ambulance crew attended alongside police officers, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A BODY has been pulled from a canal in Manchester following a search operation last night. Search teams discovered the body of a man while attending the Rochdale Canal in Miles Platting on Sunday evening. A cordon was in place from around 8pm, as underwater divers joined the operation on Hulme Hall Lane, near the canal. Greater Manchester Police attended the scene following reports of "posessions" being found on the canal bank. A GMP spokesperson said: "We were alerted to some possessions on the canal bank and when we have searched the canal, we have found the body of a man; ID still being done, doesn't look suspicious at this stage." The body of a man was discovered, who is yet to be identified. Enquiries are still ongoing this morning, and the man's death is not currently believed to be suspicious. Manchester Evening News report that multiple police vehicles were seen in the area, as well as forensic investigators gathering evidence in bags on Hulme Hall Lane last night. People were also asked to avoid the area as the cordon remained in place.

A man's body was found in the Barker Reservoir outside the Colorado town of Nederland on Sunday, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. The body was discovered floating face down by a fisherman around noon on Sunday. Nederland firefighters responded and confirmed there was a dead body. The Boulder Emergency Squad's dive team recovered the body several hours later. The Boulder County Coroner's Office will identify the body and work to determine the time, cause, and manner of death. Rescue and recovery crews are seen at the shore of the Barker Reservoir outside Nederland, Colorado, after a body was discovered by a fisherman on Sunday, July 7, 2025. CBS In addition to the dive teams, boats, and Boulder County sheriff's deputies responded to the scene of the discovery. The reservoir, about 0.6 square miles in area and 27 feet deep at its deepest, is just east of the town of Nederland in southwestern Boulder County.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a body was discovered at Ballymaquirk, Mallow, Co Cork on Saturday evening. The witness appeal is seeking information in relation to a male walking on the road between Banteer and Kanturk, Co Cork, on the evening of Friday, June 13th between the hours of 3.30pm and 9.00pm. Road users who were travelling in the vicinity at the time who may have camera footage including dash cam are asked to make this available as investigations are ongoing.
