Witnesses sought as pedestrian injured in Dalkey car park dies in hospital
A woman in her 70s has died in hospital after being fatally injured in a collision in a car park in Dalkey, Co Dublin last weekend. In incident happened about 4.30pm on Sunday July 13th. She was taken to St Vincent's hospital, where she died on Friday. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone who was in the Castle Villas area between 4.15pm and 4.45pm is asked to contact Dún Laoghaire Garda station 01 6665000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station. Multiple people sent to hospital after morning crash in New Tecumseth
A recent spate of copper wire thefts continued in New Liskeard last week when it emerged that tens of thousands of dollars worth had been stolen from a construction site in New Liskeard. A crash involving a transport truck in the Town of New Tecumseth sent three people to the local hospital. On Friday morning, Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers arrived on the scene of a collision near the 8th Line and Sideroad 15. Police asked all drivers to avoid the area while crews worked to conduct their investigation. OPP say a transport truck and another vehicle collided along the rural road. Police confirmed to CTV News that three people were taken to the hospital after facing minor injuries from the crash. OPP say the investigation remains ongoing and newer information will be shared if required.

Two P.E.I. seniors killed in single-vehicle crash near Shediac, N.B.
Emergency crews respond to a fatal crash on Highway 15 near Shediac, N.B., on July 17, 2025. Two seniors from Stratford, P.E.I., have been killed in a single-vehicle collision near Shediac, N.B. The New Brunswick RCMP responded to the collision on Highway 15 just before 1 p.m. Thursday. Police say a 71-year-old woman and a 73-year-old woman, both from Stratford, died at the scene. The driver is in hospital with serious injuries. A section of Highway 15 between the Ohio Road and Chesley Street exits was closed for more than six hours following the incident. Cyclist in life-threatening condition after downtown collision

The collision happened in the area of Church Street and Gerrard Street just after 6:30 a.m. in the city's downtown core. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, police said, adding that the intersection is closed in all directions. It's unclear whether any charges will be laid.

Pedestrian taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by vehicle in Windsor
Police say a woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision Thursday afternoon in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Princess Avenue in Windsor. Officers were called to the scene around 4:45 p.m., a spokesperson for the Windsor Police Service said in an email. A vehicle hit two female pedestrians, both of whom were taken to hospital, police said. The intersection was closed for approximately three hours.
