Cosford cannabis farm worth £1m found in derelict building
A cannabis farm with crops worth an estimated £1m in street value has been found in a derelict men, aged 36, 40 and 49, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and released on bail, a West Mercia Police spokesperson officers said they were tipped off about the property on Neachley Lane, Cosford, Shropshire, and when they went to investigate they discovered 1,116 plants at various stages of growth across 15 Damien Kelly said: "It goes to show the powerful role residents can play." The person who raised the concerns approached him while he was out on a patrol with a colleague and Insp Kelly thanked them for their support. Arrest after drugs factory uncovered in Black Country
POLICE have arrested a man after uncovering a drugs factory with around 200 cannabis plants inside. West Midlands Police officers raided an address in Moors Hill Lane in Tipton in the early hours of Saturday morning (May 31). Police confirmed that a 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. In a statement, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We've discovered around 200 cannabis plants and made an arrest in Tipton this morning (31 May). "We acted on information and found the drugs factory at an address in Moors Mill Lane at just after 1.40am. "A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and is currently in custody for questioning. They added: "Drugs not only ruin lives, but fuel further crime, and we'll continue to take action to shut down such illegal production".

Vehicle search leads to three arrests after drugs farm discovery
Three men have been arrested in Rotherham, after the car they were driving was stopped by police and found to contain the keys to a nearby cannabis Yorkshire Police said the force had initially been contacted by Northern Powergrid on Friday because of "suspicious electrical activity" and signs that someone was "dangerously and illegally bypassing electricity" at an address on Gerard Road in subsequently searched the Wellgate property and found around 1,000 cannabis plants in 10 the same day, a suspicious vehicle circling in the area was stopped and searched by police, who found a key to the property inside.
