Collision at Rettendon Turnpike in Essex leads to road closures
A number of roads have been closed following a collision near a major Police said the A130 at Rettendon Turnpike was shut, along with nearby links to the A132 and B1012, just outside South Woodham force warned that emergency services remained at the scene and investigation work could take "several hours".Drivers have been urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes. Crime scene declared after man dies at Sunshine Coast home
Investigations are underway after the sudden death of a Sunshine Coast man overnight. Emergency services were called to a Napalle Street home just after 7:30pm Monday after receiving reports that a man had collapsed. A 57-year-old Warana man was declared dead at the scene. A crime scene has been declared as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

M5 and A38 traffic: Smoke from blaze causes long delays on roads
Plumes of grey smoke from a tyre fire caused long delays on a motorway during rush hour. The blaze resulted in queues in both directions of the M5 at junction 12 in Gloucestershire, with traffic being held briefly at 17:10 BST by emergency nearby A38 Bristol Road remains blocked in both directions, according to traffic monitoring website Inrix. Firefighters were called at 16:32 BST to tackle the blaze, which is believed to have started at Hiltmead Lane.

Large grass fire breaks out on Romney Marsh
A large grass fire has broken out in a rural part of Kent, a fire service has Fire & Rescue Service reported at 16:30 BST on Monday that it had four crews in attendance at the blaze in Dungeness Road on Romney crews are using a fogging unit and a high pressure hose reel jet in an effort to extinguish the flames, the service said. A spokesperson said: "People living or travelling near this area are being advised to close windows and doors due to a large plume of smoke."
