Emmerdale star looks very different one year after devastating show exit
Emmerdale fans have done a double-take after spotting former soap star Sebastian Dowling looking seriously different just a year after his emotional exit from the show. The actor, best known for playing Heath Hope since he was a baby, recently posted new photos on Instagram showing off a dramatic transformation. With a noticeably more muscular frame and a fresh haircut, Sebastian looked nothing like the sweet village kid fans watched grow up on screen. He captioned the post 'Have you missed me' and the comments quickly flooded with fans offering their compliments. Sebastian spent 17 years playing Heath Hope, the son of Bob and Viv Hope, and twin brother to Cathy played by his real-life sister, Gabrielle Dowling. He was born during a dramatic moorland birth in 2007 and became part of the furniture in the Dales, a familiar face as he navigated childhood, family drama, and village life. But in a shock twist that aired on New Year's Day 2024, Heath's story came to a tragic end. The teen was killed in a car crash after he, Cathy, and Angelica King stole Wendy's car to go to a party. The group lost control and crashed, and while Cathy and Angelica escaped with injuries, Heath was trapped inside. Despite Wendy's desperate CPR attempts, he sadly died at the scene. Emmerdale confirms drama and violence for Robert and John
Emmerdale fans are in for a 'dramatic' episode tonight (July 31) as character Robert Sugden (played by Ryan Hawley) faces a tough situation after leaving prison. Robert's half-brother John, played by Oliver Farnworth, is set to intensify the drama having secretly attached a listening device to Robert so he can spy on his every move. John heard that Robert said he had sold weed that didn't belong to him and decided to tell Ross, one of the characters that the weed belonged to. Further in the episode, Robert is found to have also used the cash from buying Annie's (Sheila Mercier) back, reports the Radio Times. The publication continues: 'With John continuing to play Mr Nice Guy, Robert issues a parting warning that the locals will soon see his sibling's true colours. 'But, now public enemy number one again, Robert's isolation leads him into yet another showdown with John, whose underhanded tactics and nasty words cause Robert to lose control. 'A violent incident ensues, with the fate of both characters left on the line in very different ways.' Emmerdale fans have been pondering over who Belle Dingle's (Eden Taylor-Draper) new love interest might be. The beloved character is currently enjoying single life after a horrific ordeal involving Tom King (James Chase). When Tom and Belle got together, it wasn't long until we started to see signs of controlling behaviour from him. At first, Tom's actions were small, but he then became hellbent on isolating Belle from her entire family. Over the next year, Tom was responsible for installing security cameras in the house, tracking Belle's every movement, physically and mentally abusing her, as well as pretending her dog Piper had died in an attempt to get close to her again. Belle eventually reported Tom and he was sent to prison for three years. In February of this year, Belle decided she would begin divorce proceedings, but it meant visiting Tom in prison. ITV has announced another major schedule shakeup as the soaps are pulled off air. Emma was then pushed off a viaduct by Moira after she talked ill of her dead daughter Holly, who died of an overdose in October 2017. Hollyoaks - Glove Hand Killer The Gloved Hand Killer was a mystery serial killer, who claimed the lives of 7 characters between January and October 2015, all by injecting them with potassium chloride. The Gloved Hand Killer's targets were all people who had done wrong in some shape or form. There were 6 suspects for who the Gloved Hand Killer was, and the killer's identity was revealed in October 2015. It was revealed to be doctor Lindsey Butterfield who had been killing people at the hospital.
