Steve Jobs' daughter Eve set to wed British Olympian Henry Charles

Eve Jobs, youngest daughter of late Apple boss Steve Jobs, is getting ready to marry Team GB equestrian gold medallist Henry Charles this week. Their four-day nuptials in the picturesque Cotswolds are reportedly set to rival the recent wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez in Venice for top spot on the lavish charts. It's understood that an entire village is going into lockdown this week, ahead of the wedding this coming Saturday at a luxury country club hotel on the Eynsham Hall estate. Music superstar Elton John will reportedly be performing. Jobs is a keen equestrian herself and has previously competed in several events, including the World Cup Finals and Royal Windsor Horse Show. She pulled out of her planned Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 after the Games were postponed due to the pandemic, and has since been concentrating on her modelling career. Jobs and Charles, who won gold at Paris 2024, made their relationship public during the Games, but it's understood they have been dating since 2022. The couple got engaged last September, weeks after going public with their romance. According to MailOnline, former US Vice President Kamala Harris is among many famous faces on the guest list, thanks to her close friendship with Eve's mother, the philanthropist Laurene Powell Jobs, who has organised the wedding.

Photos show an epic endurance race celebrating the bond between people and horses in Kyrgyzstan

For equestrian riders, the endurance race known as the Gallops is the ultimate test of stamina and self-discipline. First hosted in India in 2019, the event challenges teams of international riders to a five-day trek spanning more than 200 kilometers (125 miles) as part of a race inspired by the famous Paris-Dakar rally. The Gallops' 2025 edition is taking place in Kyrgyzstan — a Central Asian country with a deep-rooted traditional nomadic culture. The race begins in the village of Kyzart, around 3,000 meters (nearly 10,000 feet) above sea level, before taking competitors hailing from 12 countries on a journey close to Song-Köl Lake. As well as camping in traditional Kyrgyz yurts, riders are able to experience some of Kyrgyzstan's other equestrian sports including horseback archery and Kok Boru. The latter is a game that sees two teams compete to place a goat's carcass — or, in modern matches, often a model of one — in their opponents' goal. Shamed Olympian Charlotte Dujardin returns from ban ‘fuelled by fury at whistleblower' who leaked horse-whipping video

DISGRACED Olympian Charlotte Dujardin is preparing her return to equestrian after serving a one-year ban. The three-time Olympic gold medallist withdrew from the Paris Games last year after a video emerged of her whipping a horse 24 times. 2 Dujardin, 40, admitted wrongdoing and expressed her shame, as well as her apologies. She was subsequently hit with a one-year ban, which expires on July 23, and her prize money from competing was reduced to zero. That ban was confirmed in December and backdated to July, with Dujarden also hit with an £1,881 fine. Her comeback is now on the cards although she has not been selected by the British federation for the European Dressage Championships, which is the first major competition after her return. Dujardin's first appearance since her ban is still yet to be decided, but chiefs within the sport reportedly hope it will be abroad to reduce attention. The Times report Dujarden intends to pick up her career where she left off, with a smaller event likely first up. And those close to her claim that over the past 12 months she has been "fuelled by a fury" for the person who leaked the video. There is also a chance she could team up with one of her backers, Ulrike Bachinger. The Austrian was interested in buying a stud farm in Gloucestershire, with the expectation that Dujardin would run it. Bachinger also co-owns Aliver and Kicking, which is Dujardin's best horse and her main hope of reaching the 2028 Olympics in LA.
