Despite rumours of a potential romance, both Jowita and Pete dismissed such speculation. Speaking exclusively to OK! at the Pride of Britain Awards, Jowita addressed the gossip: "We have very good chemistry together as friends, we really get on well with each other, and we have so much fun together. And dancing is a bit like acting, so we're telling a story every night on Saturday night, and I think we're doing a pretty good job with that so..." She further clarified: "But we're very good friends, and I love him so much as a brother, and I think we're going to stay friends for life, to be honest." Jowita and Michael before their split Jowita, who originates from Poland, started her professional dancing career at the age of 12. In 2014, at 20, she achieved the title of Poland's Open Latin Champion. The following year, she transitioned from her background in Ballroom and Latin to join Burn the Floor - a touring dance troupe specialising in contemporary dance. She has lived in the UK since 2019 and previously operated a dance academy alongside professional dancer Michael Danilczuk, who was also her romantic partner off the dance floor. The pair triumphed on BBC's The Greatest Dancer in 2020, securing the £50,000 prize and an opportunity to perform on Strictly Come Dancing. Jowita and Michael initially encountered each other in 2013 at a dance workshop in Krakow, Poland. Though they didn't take to one another at first, after 12 months of dancing together they became romantically involved and had previously described themselves as "inseparable." Jowita and Pete Wicks competed together last year Her Instagram account was filled with romantic photographs of herself and Michael, though they parted ways shortly before the 2022 Strictly series commenced. Jowita was subsequently linked romantically with fellow Strictly professional Giovanni Pernice. Crew even saw them kissing in the production office." Despite this, Giovanni and Jowita never officially confirmed the speculation, and by March of the previous year, it was reported that the duo had parted ways.

He promptly deleted his post and addressed the issue on his Instagram stories, describing it as a "horrendous coincidence". The 38-year-old television personality and his wife Michelle Keegan, also 38, have been actively posting to Instagram from their holiday in Spain. Along with some family members, they took their three-month-old daughter Palma overseas for the first time. It is believed the family is now back in the UK, and Mark is understood to have shared an image featuring the three in front of a private jet at an airport, with a caption about the lack of leg room on regular flights. However, the Heart radio presenter faced criticism for the post against the backdrop of the Air India flight crash, which took place shortly after departing from Ahmedabad en route to Gatwick Airport in London. In response to the backlash, Mark apologised for what he called a "mistake," explaining to his followers that the post had been pre-scheduled and was not meant to be insensitive. On his Instagram story, he elaborated that the timing was just a "horrendous coincidence", reports the Mirror. In his statement, Mark said: "I apologise for a post I just put up on my page after today's heartbreaking events. I have posts from a holiday that are on the scheduled setting, which go out on future days I have set them for which was done last week." He said that upon realising this, he "immediately" took down the post. He added: "It's a horrendous coincidence that today's post was on such a devastating day. Once I logged in to my Instagram and realised the post had gone out, I immediately deleted it." The ex-TOWIE celebrity extended his compassion towards all those impacted by the tragic air incident, saying: "My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected from today. I'm sorry for this mistake and any offence caused." The year before, rumours circulated that the TV host Nick had started seeing marketing executive Rebecca Kearns, who is also reportedly over 30 years younger than him. I want him to know there's a big world out there, to travel and meet people the way I have, because it gives you a much greater understanding of humankind."
