Champions League travel chaos erupts as fans block train and throw rocks and tear gas is deployed on board
CHAOS has erupted at a Munich station with fights reported between fans travelling for tonight's Champions League final. Dramatic footage shows fights kicking off between crowds of fans as they make their way to the match on public transport. 4 4 4 4 Fans were even spotted throwing stones at each other at Fröttmaning station near the Allianz Arena, Bild has reported. Fights erupted between groups of PSG and Inter fans making their way to the final. They also caused travel disruption by making their way on to the train tracks, it was reported. Some present were injured in the scuffle, with several even visibly covered in blood. A fence between the tracks stopped the incident becoming worse, Bild's reporters added. Tear gas was also reportedly used on a train at the U6 "Universität" stop. The emergency brake was pulled on the train, and the guard couldn't get through the crowd to reset the lever. Munich police reported that delays were expected on certain lines following the incident. German cops have also threatened fans with their batons in efforts to keep tonight's final as peaceful as possible. Munich police on X: "Currently, many police officers are at Marienplatz to separate the opposing fan camps. "Everything is currently peaceful." It comes as PSG looks to claim the Champions League trophy for the first time in the club's history. Inter would be looking for their fourth title, two years after losing to Manchester City in Istanbul.

Champions League final: Skirmishes between police and Inter Milan fans at train station
A skirmish between Munich police and Inter Milan fans broke out on the platform of the Universitat subway station in the city around 5.20pm local time. Munich's U6 line is struggling to deal with the volume of fans travelling from the city out to the Allianz Arena. Supporters of both clubs are getting frustrated at being unable to board trains. We have just witnessed half a dozen police officers in riot helmets with batons chase Italian fans up the escalators at Universitat. Those fans came back ten minutes later, some of them with metal bars, at least one of which was thrown at the police. They responded with pepper spray. The train is stuck in the station and packed with fans.

Its wearable neck fan is only £4.99, which is great for commuting, running, or even gardening. It's USB rechargeable, quiet, has multiple speed settings, and it won't munch through batteries like other models. You can also grab a 4-inch desk fan for just £2.99, which is cheaper than Asda, Amazon and Poundland. And for something bigger, there's a 32-inch oscillating tower fan for £19.99 – the same one sells for £30 at Dunelm. The verdict All in all, the best bargain of the week goes to Home Bargains, where you can nab a 4-inch desk fan for just £2.99. Its the lowest price we've seen of that model and its perfect for office workers or to stick on your bedside at night. If you want a bigger cooling hit, the 32-inch tower fan for £19.99 at Home Bargains is a close second and a tenner cheaper than its high street rival. For those looking for the cheapest on the go cooler, it has to be Asda's £1.50 handheld fan. Although Home Bargains £5 neck fan is another great option for when you're on the go. How to compare prices While all these deals are solid, it's important to remember that not every 'sale' price is actually a bargain. That's where price comparison tools can come in handy. Websites like Google Shopping let you type in a product name or model number to instantly compare prices across dozens of retailers.
