The actress, 38, shared one snap with her glam team including her makeup artist and hairstylist as she sat being pampered in a white dressing gown. She then posted a short video of what looked like the shoot she had been getting ready for as she posed in a pair of dark sunglasses. She sported a bouncy blow dry and perfectly applied makeup while accessorising with statement gold earrings. Other images saw her wandering around the picturesque streets of Paris, enjoying meals out and hiding from the rain on set during a downpour. She posted a short video of what looked like the shoot she had been getting ready for as she posed in a pair of dark sunglasses The day before Michelle cut a stylish figure in a chic navy jumpsuit as she joked about working hard while lounging on a bench in Paris. The Coronation Street star, who is reported to have a combined net worth of £20 million with her husband Mark Wright, also 38, smiled as her friend filmed her lying down in the middle of the French capital. Playing Donna Summer's 1983 hit She Works Hard for the Money over the top of the clip the actress was laughed in the snap after realising she was being filmed. She accessorised her look with a black belt, oversized sunglasses and pair of burgundy heels. The star was spending time in the city working and reposted several glimpses into her trip, originally shared by her makeup artist friend Emmy Clarkson. The pair posed up a storm in a stately home in one snap before sharing glimpses of their lavish meal at Le Square Trousseau. Described as a bistro with 'old world charm', the restaurant has been praised on TripAdvisor for serving 'superb' French cuisine. Since becoming a mum, Michelle has been living it up with luxury holidays, red carpet appearances and a major new deal with Sky, all while flaunting her enviable post-baby figure in skimpy swimwear from her fashion range. Michelle posed for a slew of smiley snaps with her crew mates last week, during filming in Bulgaria for a secret new project. The actress looked like she was having the time of her life in a slew of behind-the-scenes snaps giving her fans a glimpse of her mystery job with Sky. She could be seen sitting with the crew in a line of black director's chairs, which were labelled - confirming the project to be a collaboration between Sky Creative and B2Y Productions. Christopher Nolan ‘enabling colonialism by filming in Western Sahara'

Christopher Nolan has been accused of enabling colonialism by filming in Western Sahara. The 54-year-old British-American director is shooting parts of The Odyssey in Dakhla, in the disputed territory. The recreation of Homer's epic poem features Matt Damon, as the Greek hero Odysseus, as well as the Oscar winners Charlize Theron and Lupita Nyong'o. Filming took place in Dakhla this month. Scenes had already been shot in Essaouira, Marrakesh and Ouarzazate, in Morocco, as well as in Greece and Scotland. The North African state has long been a favourite filming destination for Hollywood directors. Lawrence of Arabia and Ridley Scott's Gladiator movies were shot there. Western Sahara has been claimed and occupied by Morocco since Spain gave up control of the territory in the 1970s. The decision to film in the disputed territory has prompted the Polisario Front, which claims to represent its indigenous inhabitants, to accuse the director of 'a clear violation of international law and ethical standards governing cultural and artistic work'. The organisers of the Sahara International Film Festival, which takes place in Polisario-controlled Sahrawi camps in Algeria, told The Times that Dakhla was 'not just a beautiful location with cinematic sand dunes' as they urged Nolan to stop filming in Western Sahara. They said: 'Primarily, it is an occupied, militarised city whose indigenous Sahrawi population is subject to brutal repression by occupying Moroccan forces.' María Carrión, the festival's director, said: 'By filming part of The Odyssey in an occupied territory billed as a 'news black hole' by Reporters without Borders, Nolan and his team, perhaps unknowingly and unwillingly, are contributing to the repression of the Sahrawi people by Morocco, and to the Moroccan regime's efforts to normalise its occupation of Western Sahara. 'We are sure that were they to understand the full implications of filming such a high-profile film in a territory whose indigenous peoples are unable to make their own films about their stories under occupation, Nolan and his team would be horrified.' Last month, Britain backed Morocco's claim to the territory after having refused to back either side for decades. It comes after Morocco won the backing of the United States, France, Spain and Portugal for its continued occupation of the largely desert territory. The Polisario Front abandoned a ceasefire with Morocco in 2020. Nolan and his film company Syncopy were contacted for comment by The Times. 'This is a production that is extremely important for Morocco,' Reda Benjelloun, who heads the Moroccan government agency in charge of promoting the film industry, previously told Bloomberg. 'It's the first major Hollywood production to choose the southern provinces.' Broaden your horizons with award-winning British journalism. Chloé's Reimagined Paddington Bag Guest Stars In Katie Holmes's New Movie 'Happy Hours'

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. It's peak filming season in New York City, which means the streets of NYC belong to your favorite actors for the foreseeable future. Stars like Natalie Portman and Anne Hathaway have been making regular appearances on the sets of Good Sex and The Devil Wears Prada 2, respectively, and as of July 21 Katie Holmes has joined the Manhattan mix. Her new film Happy Hours is also set in NYC and production began bright and early on Monday morning—the same time as The Devil Wears Prada sequel. Though Holmes is keeping the plot of her "character-driven dramedy" mostly under wraps (she's the writer, director, and star) the two characters were dressed noticeably similar. Hathaway embraced Andy Sachs's anti-fashion girl aura in a white tank, jeans, and black vest and Holmes followed suit. With help from her stylist, Brie Welch, Holmes tucked a billowing white button-down into her wide-leg denim, and layered a black vest overtop—a classic journalist-core combo. Apart from her wire-frame aviator glasses, Holmes's accessories leaned more Western. She wore a leather belt and brown cowboy boots, perhaps marking her as a Texas transplant. Holmes's crossbody camera, meanwhile, suggests her character would be snapping pictures for a story. If the first costume is any indicator, her on-screen job title will likely be: Writer, Who's Too Busy for Love. On-set or otherwise, it wouldn't be a proper Holmes look without a four-figure purse. This time, she carried Chloé's reimagined Paddington Bag, which debuted in the Fall/Winter 2025 collection at the hands of creative director, Chemena Kamali. Almost identical to Phoebe Philo's original Spring 2005 design, the slouchy boho style sports the brand's signature padlock detail atop its zippered closure. The actor chose the black version, but according to Chloé's runway, it'll also be available in burgundy, navy blue, and olive green very soon. Though Holmes served as a walking ad for the Paddington 2.0, the $2,750 bag isn't yet available (you can join the waitlist before its autumn drop). Back in the day, the Paddington was a street style staple for Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, and Christina Aguilera, alongside other early-aughts essentials like fedoras and capri pants. Now, Holmes joins Dua Lipa, Alexa Chung, and Daisy Edgar-Jones—all of whom have worn Chloé's revamped model in recent months. Holmes, however, has been a certified Chloé girl since the early aughts. She's showed her continued support for the brand, toting their beloved Milo, Edith, Penelope, and Marcie handbags on a regular basis. While you await the arrival of Chloé's new Paddington, be sure to keep tabs on secondhand sites for the real deal, circa 2005. According to Tourism Ireland, some of the locations used to shoot the new series include Charleville Castle in Co Offaly, Dean's Grange Cemetery in Co Dublin and Ashford Studios in Co Wicklow.
