First Bed Bath & Beyond Home store in Nashville to open this August

US home decor retail chain The Brand House Collective, formerly known as Kirkland's, will open its first Bed Bath & Beyond Home store in Nashville, Tennessee, on 8 August 2025. This marks the company's inaugural launch under its new identity following shareholder approval on 24 July 2025. This June, the company disclosed strategic adjustments to its operations and management. The overhaul includes a shift to become a multi-brand retail operator, streamlining its physical footprint, and enhancing core business processes to foster growth. The strategy involves consolidating properties and closing underperforming stores to reduce excess inventory, aiming for faster stock turnover and improved asset returns. Furthermore, the company plans to operate 290 stores, housing brands such as Kirkland's Home, Bed Bath & Beyond Home, and Overstock. The company said: "To celebrate our grand opening on 8 August, in honouring our brand's history, we're bringing back the beloved Bed Bath & Beyond coupon." The retailer has invited customers to redeem their legacy coupons or receive a new one at the store, with the first 25 purchasers receiving a free memory foam mattress. From today (29 July), The Brand House Collective will trade under the new ticker symbol 'TBHC', with no action required from shareholders concerning the change. Earlier in the month, the company revealed a series of executive appointments as part of its transformation into The Brand House Collective. Specifically, Andrea Courtois took on the role of senior vice-president and chief financial officer, succeeding Mike Madden. FINALLY! Grover's Milton restaurant opening Thursday. Here's a sneak peek inside

The wait is over for Milton's new Grover's, which is set to open to the public at 6 a.m. on July 24 at 5614 Stewart St., following over a year of eager community anticipation. The sparkling new Milton restaurant will carry over the old-school diner feel of the original location, Grover's Fingers & Wings at 9418 N. Davis Highway, but now with a drive-thru, glittery cherry red booths, black-and-white checkered floors and quadruple the seating. Now that the new restaurant is finally gearing up to welcome customers inside, the original location will temporarily close for renovations beginning on July 23 to undergo a makeover to match the new store. They plan to reopen the Pensacola store as quickly as possible and will post updates on Grover's social media regarding the timeline. While the Milton restaurant was custom-built from the ground up, thanks to homebuilder Mike Price, who partnered with owner Michael Graham on the Milton restaurant, they didn't want to lose the old-fashioned feel that customers loved most, but rather enhance it. Grover's is a Pensacola fan-favorite: Pensacola's hidden gem, Grover's Fingers and Wings, not so hidden anymore The Milton menu will remain the same, with many options priced under $10, including their signature country-fried steak sandwich, Grover cheeseburger, or a half order of house-made biscuits and gravy. But doesn't an old-fashioned ice cream sundae taste better to the tune of a 1940s Wurlitzer jukebox? When creating the design, Graham and Price worked to enhance all the nostalgia the previous location offered, while offering upgrades, such as significantly expanding the kitchen space. The new restaurant features two separate kitchens: one for handling drive-thru orders and the other for in-house orders. While the layout mirrors the smaller Davis Highway store, it extends about 10 feet longer with twice the equipment so that customers can get their food fast. In addition to the vast array of seating inside, there will also be about 18 picnic tables to enjoy a sandwich or a sweet tea out on the front porch. To start, the restaurant will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, with plans to eventually transition into a 6 a.m. to midnight schedule. Once the longer hours take effect, breakfast items will be available all day, according to Graham. As Graham and Price make final preparations to welcome law enforcement and family inside for a first run on July 23, they look forward to welcoming the public on July 24 when they will switch the traffic light sign on the outside of the building from red to green. People line up from 4am for huge US food chain opening in Sydney

People were lining up since 4am in order to get their hands on an item from a cult US chain that has finally come to Sydney. Auntie Anne's, the world's largest hand-rolled soft pretzel franchise, made its debut Down Under with the opening of its first store at Westfield Parramatta on Saturday. Some Australians lined up from 4am — more than five hours before the store opened its doors — in order to get their hands on the pretzels. Lines filled the shopping centre's top floor as people waited hours in order to get their hands on Original, Cinnamon, Sweet Almond and Pepperoni flavoured pretzels. One social media user claimed that the line wrapped all the way around to the train station outside. Yu-Jin Lee, who along with his business partner Johann Wong, has worked with Auntie Anne's to bring it to Australia, told 'We are amazed at the turnout that's for sure. We had one customer who lined up from 4am and waited until 9.30am when we officially opened the store. 'We anticipated a good response, but the excitement people have shown for Auntie Anne's has certainly exceeded all our expectations! 'Our crew have been working around the clock baking up a storm and I think we will see the line up continue for quite some time.' More than 1000 pretzels were sold on opening day. Mr Lee said bringing Auntie Anne's to Australia has been a dream years in the making, saying one of his fondest childhood memories is going to the mall to grab an Auntie Anne's pretzel. 'Think Baker's Delight. It's still the pretzel flavour but as soft as a Baker's Delight roll,' he said. 'It's because you order it and you get it fresh, rather than it sitting there from the morning.' He also rated the cinnamon sticks and the almond sticks with cream cheese, saying the latter was probably his favourite. 'You also can't go wrong with the hot dog bites. There's too much to choose from,' he said. The popular chain, which sells an array of sweet and savoury pretzels, first opened its doors in Pennsylvania back in 1988 and now has more than 2000 locations around the world – with five new ones planned across Australia in the next 12 months. Aussie customers can expect the full Auntie Anne's experience, Mr Lee said, including signature pretzel varieties such as original, cinnamon sugar, sweet almond, and pepperoni cheese, along with sweet and savoury nugget bites with the dough mixed, hand-rolled and baked on site. It's just the latest American chain to open in Australia in recent months with Wendy's, Wingstop and In-N-Out either having pop-ups or opening its doors permanently. But as Auntie Anne's joins a long line of American fast-food restaurants opening in Australia, are Aussies going to become sick of the once hard-to-get food? Melbourne-based food blogger Nectro. 'It's really exciting to see US chains opening in Australia,' he told ahead of the store's opening. 'Many of us have heard the hype, or if they're lucky tried the items on holiday, but to be able to eat these well-known brand's on our own doorstep means it's now available to everyone. 'These brands are often names we've grown up watching in the movies, so it's a thrill to have the option to buy something we've never tried. The big test is really whether or not they stand the test of time.'

Sheetz opens rebuilt Schuylkill Haven store

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN — A 'Welcome Back' sign over the entrance greeted customers Friday, opening day of the new Sheetz convenience store on Route 61 and Manheim Road. Customers flocked to get a glimpse of the new 6,130-square-foot store, about 13% larger than the previous store at the same location. Sheetz demolished the old store in February, and replaced it with a ground-up reconfiguration of the original. Within minutes of opening people began filling up their tanks at the reopen Sheetz on Route 61 near Schuylkill Haven, Friday, July 25, 2025. (MATTHEW PERSCHALL/MULTIMEDIA EDITOR) 'It looks fantastic,' said Virginia Giamarino. 'It's definitely an improvement.' Not being able to get her morning coffee for six months was a huge inconvenience, said Giamarino, tapping a brew at one of Sheetz Coffeez machines. Truth be known, on occasion she defected to the Rutter's store a few miles south on Route 61. Sheetz did not have a ribbon cutting to mark the opening of the new store, though a district manager was onsite. The Altoona-based company considers stores put on the location of a previous store as rebuilds, not new stores. Still, the word got around, and by midmorning Friday the store was busy. Lured by $2.69-a-gallon regular unleaded, the new gas pumps were getting a work out. All of the 10 lanes were busy, and sometimes there was a line of vehicles awaiting service. The price of gas reads $2.69 at the reopened Sheetz on Route 61 near Schuylkill Haven, Friday, July 25, 2025. (MATTHEW PERSCHALL/MULTIMEDIA EDITOR) Actually, Sheetz reduced the size of its fueling operation. The previous store had 12 filling lanes. The new setup, however, offers diesel fuel at every pump. Hailey Skelly said the store was nice inside, but would have liked a drive-thru. Unlike its renovated store at Route 209 and Gordon Nagle Road, Sheetz did not install a drive-thru at the Schuylkill Haven location. North Manheim Twp. officials ruled that the lot was not big enough to accommodate a drive-thru. Jeni Betancourt would have liked a drive-thru, but she can live without one. What she really wanted was a car wash. 'I'm originally from the Lehigh Valley, and the Sheetz down there has a car wash,' said Betancourt, a Pottsville nurse. No car wash is no deal breaker though, and Betancourt will stop at Sheetz on the way to work as she had before. 'I normally stop in for an MTO and coffee,' she said. 'I'm glad they're open again.' Sheetz stores undergo regular renovations. The Pottsville store was demolished in November 2022 and the new one opened in April 2023. Sheetz has 788 stores in seven states, about 39% of which are in Pennsylvania. * People walk under the 'Welcome Back' sign at the reopened Sheetz on Route 61 near Schuylkill Haven, Friday, July 25, 2025.
