Will the Peltz-Beckhams find sanctuary in the Sussex squad? Meghan's pal Mindy Kaling shouts out Brooklyn's hot sauce - after Duke and Duchess 'held Beckxit summit'

The Office star Mindy Kaling has shouted out Brooklyn Beckham 's hot sauce as it appears he and wife Nicola Peltz have support from within the Sussex squad amid the ongoing Beckham family feud. Mindy, 45, is part of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 's inner circle in California, with the Emmy winner having received one of the Duchess' first ever jars of strawberry jam back in 2023. The actress also appeared on her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, that was released earlier this year as their 'I'm Sussex now' interaction quickly became one of the series' biggest talking points. On Thursday, Mindy took to Instagram to promote Brooklyn's Cloud 23 range of hot sauces - weeks after Harry and Meghan's 'Beckxit summit' at their Montecito mansion where they expressed 'unwavering support' for Brooklyn and Nicola. Mindy snapped a photo of the Sweet Jalapeno and Hot Habanero sauces and captioned it 'These are so delicious' while tagging both Brooklyn and Cloud 23's official Instagram handles. She is not following either Brooklyn or Nicola who, in turn, are not among Mindy's followers. Mindy's post about Cloud23 comes after it was reported that the Duke and Duchess invited Brooklyn and Nicola for a VIP soiree at their home in California amid the younger couple's falling out with David and Victoria Beckham. At the time, a source claimed that Nicola, 31, and Meghan had a 'deep and meaningful' chat and formed a bond after being accused by critics of being 'homewreckers' and wives who 'tear apart their husbands' families'. They also reportedly clicked over their 'similar family feuds', insiders have said. Soon after, however, a pro-Sussex source distanced Harry and Meghan from the Peltz-Beckhams while claiming they were not 'directly invited' to the VIP soiree at the royal couple's home. They added that the timing of the so-called 'Beckxit summit' against the backdrop of the Beckham family rift was 'pure coincidence'. Citing a source close to Harry and Meghan, People reported that 'Brooklyn and Nicola were not directly invited by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex', suggesting the couple were asked to be there by a mutual friend or intermediary. The meal was for a larger group of VIPs including TV and media executives. 'Brooklyn and Nicola - who live 90 minutes away from Harry and Meghan in LA - were invited prior to David's numerous global birthday galas, so the timing is pure coincidence,' an insider later told MailOnline. 'While it was an intimate gathering, there were several additional guests, including VIPs and film executives. Brooklyn and Nicola had a wonderful time and found Harry and Meghan to be particularly kind, caring and generous'. The Montecito dinner would likely infuriate David and Victoria Beckham who are said to have fallen out with the Sussexes in a row over allegations of leaking stories to the press. When news of the 'Beckxit summit' first broke, a source claimed that 'Brooklyn and Nicola had a wonderful time and found Harry and Meghan to be particularly kind, caring and generous'. The Duchess of Sussex 'has a lot of sympathy for her' because both women have been branded 'homewreckers', another source familiar with the dinner said - adding 'there was shared common ground'. 'Nicola and Meghan also had a bit of a 'deep n' meaningful' as obviously both women have been positioned in the media as homewreckers - the women to tear apart their husbands' families. 'Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both. Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar'. The Sussexes have apparently swapped mobile numbers with the couple amid the fallout with Brooklyn's family being dubbed Beckxit after Harry and Meghan's estrangement from the British Royal Family. David and Victoria, 51, are currently 'heartbroken' over the family feud after Brooklyn and Nicola were a noticeable no-show at the footballer's 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month. They were also absent from the former Spice Girl's birthday bash and, while his other brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, took to social media to pay their birthday tributes to their parents, on both occasions Brooklyn stayed silent. It comes after Brooklyn and Nicola skipped a number of Beckham family gatherings, with MailOnline's Katie Hind reporting David and Victoria are 'done with' the American billionaire heiress. In addition to missing David and Posh Spice's birthday parties, Nicola and Brooklyn bailed on the big family party at David and Victoria's Cotswolds home, an idyllic trip to France, and were also notably absent from a meal at Notting Hill restaurant, Core. Brooklyn also sat out a 'boys'' fishing trip with his brothers to the Scottish Highlands that his dad organised six months ago. Keen for the feud to remain quiet, it was claimed they didn't attend that one due to work commitments. Rightly or wrongly, the Beckhams blame Nicola. 'She won't change and Brooklyn's parents are absolutely furious. They are done with her. Nicola seems to be well and truly done with them too so it's a case of long-term estrangement,' said the source. 'The Beckhams feel that this has been going on since Nicola and Brooklyn married.' In what has now become one of the family's last few appearances together, the Beckham clan celebrated the launch of Brooklyn's £15 hot sauce at a Whole Foods in London last year. Brooklyn paid tribute to his footballer father by naming the condiments - that were launched last year in October - after David's squad number at Real Madrid and, then, LA Galaxy. Unable to contain his pride, David sweetly planted a kiss on his eldest son's cheek as Brooklyn unveiled his cooking venture - while his mother, Victoria, posed for photos with one arm lovingly wrapped around his shoulders. In recent months, however, his relationship with his parents appears to have become strained as Brooklyn vowed to 'always choose' his wife in the midst of what is believed to be an escalating feud. in a recent Instagram post, the influencer and aspiring chef pledged his unwavering loyalty to Nicola - as he vowed 'me and you forever'. Alongside a video of Brooklyn and Nicola enjoying an early morning motorbike ride, he wrote: ''My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.'

Ed Sheeran expands hot sauce line with biltong protein snack

Ed Sheeran has extended his Tingly Ted's hot sauce brand with a biltong snack, claiming a focus on his fitness led him to search for healthier high-protein food. The Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter has teamed up with meat snacks supplier Ember to launch Xtra Tingly Biltong. The snack is made with lean cuts of British and Irish beef, which is marinated, seasoned and cured for eight days. Described as having 'freshness, zest and chillies that sing extra loud', the product contains 17 grams of natural protein per pack. Sheeran said: 'I got into fitness a bit more this year and was after a healthier snack and came across Ember, a Suffolk brand I absolutely love. 'The quality's unreal, proper tasty. I started having it after workouts and one day tried it with Tingly Ted's sauce – it just hit different. So, I reached out to the boys about a collab, and here we are.' Ember founder Harry Mayhew said: 'It's kind of like when man discovered the humble fish and chip, or pie and mash, or cookie dough and ice cream. Except, it's nothing like that. It's where hot sauce meets biltong. 'This collaboration is biltong's biggest moment yet as we look to break the category into the mainstream.' Sheeran launched his Tingly Ted's line of hot sauces in early 2023, naming them after his childhood nickname. – Xtra Tingly Biltong will be available in Sainsbury's nationwide until September, with a recommended retail price of £3.50. Local hot sauce maker says kitchen 'became my domain' after vision loss: Jasmine Mangalaseril

Social Sharing For many, apple pie is a dessert often enjoyed with a scoop of vanilla or perhaps a bit of cheddar cheese. For Blowing Smoke founder Jacob Wilkinson, that wedge of sweet, warmly-spiced, cooked apple slices in a flaky crust is the springboard for one of his signature hot sauces. "I just thought the flavours in that pie would go so well in a hot sauce, especially with something like a jalapeño in there," said Wilkinson. "Just add a little subtle kick to that sweetness and round everything out." He worked backwards from his pie recipe to figure out the ratio of apples to chillies (jalapeño and Snow White habanero) and adjusted other spices, to create his Northern Lights hot sauce. The green, slightly tingly, tart, and fruity sauce, is the mildest of his signature line. Wilkinson relies on his sense of taste, smell, sound and touch to create his sauces. He was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis as a toddler and developed glaucoma. By the time he was 16, he lost most of his sight. Today, he sees light and shadow. "The outside world kind of got smaller and smaller, so the inside world definitely became bigger and bigger. The kitchen more or less became my domain," he said. Within that domain, Wilkinson developed two more signature sauces: Orange Sunshine (medium) and Magic Dragon (hot). His seasonal blends spotlight Ontario's harvests: In cummer, Niagara peaches and plums go into Marmalade Skies hot sauce. Roasted pumpkin and apples are in the autumnal Devil's Night. Winter squash and poached pears are in Yellow Snow. And his spring edition is Molten Maple Hot Maple Syrup. "It's a local maple syrup that we infuse with five different hot peppers," explained Wilkinson. "It kind of starts off with that nice, sweet maple flavour and then you get a nice kick of heat afterwards." A sense for cooking Wilkinson's passion for cooking started as a child. As his sight deteriorated, he started listening to cooking podcasts and videos to progress his skills. He taught himself how to bake and, more recently, classical French techniques and dishes. He uses adaptive devices like talking scales and thermometers. Others work with him in the commercial kitchen to make sauces. Friends and family guide him on visual aspects. He differentiates the dozen or so chillies he uses by scent, and specific sounds signal how far along the vegetables are. "It's like, I know the timer should be going off any second because those tomatoes are cracking and popping. They really sound like they're close to being done," said Wilkinson "And it always does, when he says that. Within a minute," added his mother, Lana Doucette. Building a business With entrepreneurs in the family (his father is a retired financial planner, and his stepfather owns The Colossal Onion concession at the St Jacobs Market) Wilkinson said starting a business was always a possibility. Wanda Deschamps, who was diagnosed with autism, is the founder of Liberty Co, a consultancy focused on increasing neurodiverse employment. She said because inclusive workplaces can be inaccessible, many people with disabilities are pushed into entrepreneurship. "We haven't been able to enter the workplace because we haven't even been able to get a job interview or stay in a job." she said. And while a 2024 StatsCan report showed that more than a quarter of Canadians older than 15 have at least one disability, the start-up programs Wilkinson saw excluded those with disabilities. "It seems that a lot of, if not all of the government-funded programs, pretty much any funding that you would get, you are excluded from, if you already receive disability [ODSP]," said Wilkinson. He said the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre was pivotal in getting Blowing Smoke off to a good start through their food business primer. And he's building a professional network that includes Jeff Davis of Island Son and Kris Ronan of Ginger Goat. "We've been beside him every step of the way, during obviously what has been somewhat of an uphill battle for him. He's overcome lots of adversity to get where he is today," said Doucette. "We are extremely proud of the business that he has built."

Brooklyn Beckham returns to social media after snubbing his dad David's 50th birthday celebrations amid ‘feud'

BROOKLYN Beckham has returned to social media after snubbing dad David's 50th birthday celebrations. The 26-year-old failed to show up to his dad's star-studded bash at three Michelin star restaurant Core, Kensington, at the weekend. 5 And he also swerved an intimate family get together at the Beckhams' countryside pad days earlier. He hasn't publicly commented on his decision to miss the party but has now posted on social media in what appears an attempt to carry on as normal. Brooklyn has previously worked as a photographer and food influencer, and his latest project sees him making his own hot 'nepo' sauce under the Cloud 23 brand, a nod to his dad's 23 shirt when he played for Real Madrid. Speaking in a joint video with retailer Whole Foods, Brooklyn says: "I was having a bottle of wine with my wife really late at night and she said: 'You like hot sauce, you like design. Why don't you make a hot sauce'. "I didn't really think much about it and then I ordered a bunch of stuff and I watched a quick video on how to make a hot sauce. "I then made the jalapeno one and I really liked it and I thought: 'I kind of want to try and do something with this'. I had so much fun doing it." While Brooklyn stayed away from Becks' 50th, his siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper showed their support. Aspiring musician Cruz even performed a duet with girlfriend Jackie Apostel, singing Dolly Parton's Island in the Stream. The acoustic strumming was more reserved than the raucous partying that followed it as the star-studded crowd belted out famous tunes including We Are Family. The partying was so loud that the council were forced to intervene and shut it down at 3.35am following complaints from neighbours. Fans hail 'incredible' moment Micah Richards sits on David Beckham's lap during new show and chats to Hollywood legend Tom Cruise, Guy Ritchie, Eva Longoria and Gordon Ramsay all attended three Michelin-starred Core in Kensington. Brooklyn's absence failed to put a dampener on a night of fun and laughter. He reportedly decided against attending over the inclusion of his ex-girlfriend, and brother Romeo's partner, Kim Turnbull on the guestlist. A pal revealed Brooklyn did text his dad to wish him a happy birthday and tried to organise a private meet-up, but was rebuffed. However, David did go on to offer a public olive branch to his eldest son on Instagram. 5 5 He shared photos of a trip to Scotland with Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, and wrote: 'Six months ago planned a trip with my boys at the start of last week to camp and fish for my 50th was so much fun. You were missed @brooklynpeltzbeckham.' A source close to Brooklyn, who lives in Los Angeles, said: 'He flew to London with the sole intention of seeing his family and celebrating his dad's birthday. 'He suggested going for breakfast or a coffee but was told the only chance to see the family would be at one of their lavish parties which Kim would likely be at, so he refused. 'As far as he sees it, his parents have chosen Romeo and his new girlfriend over him.' However, a source close to the Beckhams insisted the fall-out had nothing to do with the siblings.
