Road closed 'for some time' after lorry overturns in Nottinghamshire
Drivers have been urged to take alternative routes after a lorry overturned on a country road in services were called to the incident in Tithby Road, near Bingham, on Monday Fire Station said the road was closed in both directions between the A52 and Langar and is not expected to reopen for "some time" while the HGV is recovered.A spokesperson added: "Luckily everyone [involved] was OK."

Man dies in car-lorry crash in Machang
Police said the accident happened at Km50.5 of Jalan Kota Bharu-Kuala Krai in Machang, Kelantan. (Facebook pic) PETALING JAYA : A 46-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving crashed into a lorry at Km50.5 of Jalan Kota Bharu-Kuala Krai in Machang, Kelantan, today. Machang police chief Ahmad Shafiki Hussin said preliminary investigations found the victim was driving a Proton Wira from Kota Bharu towards Kuala Krai when the crash occurred at about 11.55am. 'The victim lost control of his car, skidded into the opposite lane and collided with a lorry travelling from Kuala Krai towards Kota Bharu. 'He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was sent to Machang Hospital for a post-mortem,' Bernama reported him as saying. Shafiki said the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless or dangerous driving. Those with information on the incident are urged to contact traffic investigating officer Khairulanwar Adam at 011-1008-5165 or the Machang police headquarters' operations room at 09-9751-222.
