Al-Ziyoud affirmed that the Ministry will continue its inspection campaigns, carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the Public Security Directorate across all governorates of the Kingdom, to control illegal non-Jordanian labor and take legal actions against employers who hire such labor. He added that the inspection campaigns also aim to verify that the non-Jordanian labor recruited by private sector establishments in various sectors is actually working there, stressing that strict measures will be taken against establishments found to have non-working foreign labor. These measures include suspending recruitment and use of labor for the violating establishment and not renewing work permits issued in its name.
