Dattatreya is a role model for aspiring politicians, lauds Guv
Hyderabad: Governor S Abdul Nazeer on Sunday lauded Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya as a role model for aspiring politicians, emphasising his dedication to public service and non-controversial demeanor.
The Governor made these remarks while participating as a Guest of Honour at the release of Dattatraya's autobiography, 'Prajala Kathe Naa Atma Katha', held at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Speaking at the event, the Governor highlighted Dattatraya's widely recognised traits of "simplicity, soft-spoken nature, and down-to-earth attitude," affectionately earning him the moniker 'Dattanna'. He expressed his wish that the autobiography would serve as a significant source of inspiration for young and emerging politicians, motivating them to learn from Dattatraya's extensive life experiences.
The book was formally released by former President of India, Ramnath Kovind, who was the Chief Guest. A distinguished array of dignitaries graced the occasion, including Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Tripura Governor N Indrasena Reddy, Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, former Vice-President of India M Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Steel Bhupati Raju Srinivas Varma, former Chief Justice of India Justice NV Ramana, chairman of Telangana Legislative Council Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Speaker of Telangana Legislative Assembly Gaddam Prasad Kumar, and Health Minister Y Satya Kumar. Several other ministers from Telangana and various other prominent personalities were also in attendance.
