Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson cozy up on The Naked Gun red carpet in New York City amid romance rumors

LIAM Neeson and Pamela Anderson have been seen cozying up to one another on the Naked Gun red carpet amid rampant romance rumors. Rumors are rife that the 73-year-old Oscar-nominated star of Schindler's List from Northern Ireland, and the 58-year-old former Baywatch babe are romantically involved. 6 6 The glamorous pair star in the new Naked Gun movie together, with Liam recently saying about Pamela: 'I'm madly in love with her.' And last night in New York, the pair stepped out for the premiere of the hit flick, which first hit screens in 1988, starring Leslie Nielsen. Held at the School for the Visual Arts theatre in the Big Apple, the leading actor and actress gazed at one another while standing together at the glitzy event. Pamela looked chic in a midnight blue gown that was modestly cut and sailed all the way down to the ground. She wore her blond locks in a sleek style and finished off her old Hollywood look with some lace gloves on her hands. Meanwhile, Liam wore a gray suit and white shirt, complete with a black belt and matching shoes. Looking dapper and smart, Liam gazed down as Pamela as the pair smiled sweetly at one another. The Naked Gun duo were even joined on the red carpet by their children. Pamela has two sons, Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27, with her ex-husband Tommy Lee. Meanwhile, Liam has two sons, Micheál, 29, and Daniel, 28, with his late wife, actress Natasha Richardson, who sadly died in 2009. The couple, along with each of their two sons, were seen standing with one another as they all smiled. Reacting to the red carpet snaps and videos circulating social media, one person said on X, "I'm just obsessed with Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson!" Another gushed, "They are so cute. Hope they get together!" "I hope they fall for each other. They are two nice people who deserve a great love story," penned a third. I think I have a friend for ever in Liam and we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he's a good guy. Pamela Anderson on her bond with Liam Neeson "They would make a nice couple," swooned a fourth. A fifth then said, "They have a lot of chemistry." "They really nailed it with this pairing, damn," added a sixth, speaking of the Naked Gun movie casting. While a seventh person added, "I saw Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson interviewing each other and they are 100% in love,,, or if not then he's definitely in love with her." Earlier during the press tour for the comedy flick, the actress took snaps of the smartly suited actor's crotch, while he pretended to photograph her as she giggled on the floor. The off-screen chemistry went further with Liam planting a gentle kiss on the side of Pamela's head as he held her waist. Liam also joked that his favourite part of making The Naked Gun, which opens on August 1, was 'the sex scenes', which the pair were given an intimacy co-ordinator for. Liam added: 'I'd never had one before. But she was in the background. There was no kind of, 'OK! Excuse me!'.' Pamela is a five-times married former Playboy model, who has seemingly hinted that her on-screen love interest Liam will not be her next hubby. She commented of her co-star: 'I think I have a friend for ever in Liam and we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he's a good guy.' She added: 'He really is a silly guy. He acts like a silly little boy sometimes.' 6 6 6

‘I am thrilled': Cillian Murphy's new film to have its European premiere in Cork

Tim Mielants's film Steve, starring Cillian Murphy , is to have its European premiere at the Sounds from a Safe Harbour festival in Cork city on Saturday, September 13th. This marks a coup for the event as it moves into its 10th year. Mielents and Murphy previously collaborated on Small Things Like These , an adaptation of a Claire Keegan story that proved a significant domestic hit in 2024. The two men will join Max Porter, writer of Steve, for a public interview after the premiere. As was the case with Small Things, Murphy acts as co-producer on Steve alongside Irish veteran Alan Maloney. Murphy is also to co-create the music and arts event as it takes on cinema for the first time. 'I am thrilled to be part of the inaugural film programme of SFSH 2025,' Murphy said. 'It is very meaningful for me to have the European premiere of Steve in my hometown of Cork city. Steve is a film that Max Porter wrote listening to 1990's Jungle and the film's score is deeply influenced by the rhythms and patterns of drum and bass.' Adapted from Porter's 2023 novella Shy, Steve features Murphy as a teacher supervising boys with societal and behavioural difficulties. Tracey Ullman and Emily Watson (who won best supporting performance at the Berlin Film Festival for Small Things Like These) costar in a project that is to have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival shortly before its European debut. The Netflix production, available on the streamer from October 3rd, will be on theatrical release in Ireland from September 19th. Safe Harbour will also screen Clint Bentley's Train Dreams, a huge critical hit at this year's Sundance Film Festival, as well as a varied array of music-related titles. READ MORE 'The music documentaries in the programme are studies on some of my favourite artists of all time,' Murphy raved. 'Jeff Buckley, Broken Social Scene, Dónal Lunny, Brian Eno and Conor Walsh: each one elegiac and sensitive and revelatory in different ways.' Despite a hugely praised premiere at the Berlinale (and it starring the then-current holder of the Oscar for best actor), Small Things Like These did not get the awards attention it deserved last Spring. Netflix will be hoping the Toronto premiere launches Steve into the 2026 gong season with some momentum. Other Irish actors hoping to figure in the race include Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley – as William and Agnes Shakespeare – in Chloe Zhao's adaptation of Maggie O'Farrell's adored novel Hamnet and Colin Farrell in Edward Berger's take on Lawrence Osborne's gambling yarn The Ballad of a Small Player. For reasons too nerdy to summarise, awards analysts are convinced both those films will premiere at Colorado's Telluride Film Festival from the end of August. The now-enormous awards season kicks off properly with the overlapping Venice Film Festival on August 27th.

Travis Kelce hosts exclusive 'Happy Gilmore 2' screening for Chiefs teammates in camp

Travis Kelce may have missed the ' Happy Gilmore 2' premiere in New York, but the Chiefs star still put on a screening of the movie from training camp. The sequel to Adam Sandler 's 1996 comedy classic was released to Netflix on Friday, and Kelce - one of many celebrity cameos - appears in the film as a waiter. And the tight end got to bask in his latest acting gig alongside his teammates as he hosted an early screening of the film from Missouri Western State University. Kelce greeted attendees of the casual event with 'Happy Gilmore' merch and could be seen holding a putter before the movie started. in a video posted by the Chiefs to X. It wasn't long before Kelce's teammates saw him on screen and were left delighted by his performance. At one stage in the clip, Kelce proudly repeated one of his character's lines from the film, yelling 'blueberry jubilee' as the room was left in stitches. The guy on the Chiefs and The Waiter in Happy Gilmore 2. Thanks for the early showing! Watch now on @netflix 🍿 — Kansas City Chiefs (@Chiefs) July 28, 2025 Ultimately, Kelce and his teammates seemed to enjoy the break from the grind of training camp as the team thanked him on X. 'The guy on the Chiefs and The Waiter in Happy Gilmore 2. Thanks for the early showing! Watch now on @netflix.' The screening was also attended by motivational speaker Damon West, a reformed crime boss who was invited by coach Andy Reid to speak with the team. West posed with Reid, Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes for a photo which he later posted to social media. While Kelce was unable to attend the film's premiere on Monday - with Kansas City training camp beginning the following day - it was clear that he made an impression on Sandler. Kelce shared the screen with Bad Bunny in the film and Sandler had huge praise for both while speaking from the premiere. 'They were both so confident and so funny. They're gonna go on and do whatever the hell they want,' Sandler told The Hollywood Reporter of the pair. 'But I'd love to do something with them again, because I got very friendly with them, and I love them both.' Kelce is one of several famous athletes in the film, as golfers Scottie Scheffler, Colin Morikawa, Fred Couples, Tony Finau, Bryson DeChambeau and John Daly all have cameos in the film. Golf influencer Paige Spiranac also scored a role in the film, as did rapper Kid Cudi, Margaret Qualley, Bennie Safdie and many more. For Kelce, the film represented his movie debut - though it wasn't his first time acting overall. He previously appeared in five episodes of TV series 'Grotesquerie', as well as one episode of 'Moonbase 8' in 2020. Kelce also served as an executive producer on film 'My Dead Friend Zoe.' For now, the 35-year-old is gearing up for his 13th NFL season after flirting with retirement this offseason. Kelce mulled hanging his cleats up following Kansas City's 40-22 loss to the Eagles in the Super Bowl, but ultimately decided to play at least one more year following the disappointing result. The Chiefs will begin their preseason schedule on August 9 against the Cardinals before opening their regular season in Brazil against the Chargers on September 5.
