Police searching for Winnipeg man missing since 2023
Allan Childs, who has been missing since November 2023, is seen in a WPS handout photo. (Winnipeg Police Service) Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help to find a 54-year-old man who has been missing almost two full years. Allan Childs was last seen in the St. Boniface area in November 2023. Police said he was only recently reported missing. Childs is described as five-foot-seven with a thin build. He has short blonde hair, blue eyes and a blonde goatee. Police are concerned for his well-being. Anyone with information on his location is asked to call police at 204-986-6250.

Search underway for missing 61-year-old woman in Crow Wing County, police say
Police in Brainerd, Minnesota, are asking for the public's help in the search for a missing 61-year-old woman. Authorities say they're concerned for her well-being due to pre-existing chronic medical conditions. The Brainerd Police Department says Cory Degeest was last seen walking on Beech Street about two weeks ago. She was reported missing on Sunday. Officials say Degeest is 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds and has sandy brown hair and blue eyes.

FBI asks for public's help finding downtown Anchorage bank robbery suspect
Jul. 13—The FBI is seeking the public's help identifying and locating a suspect in a Friday afternoon bank robbery in downtown Anchorage. The suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank location at the Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall around 1:40 p.m. Friday, the FBI Anchorage Field Office said in a statement. The suspect went up to a bank employee and showed them a note that demanded money and indicated the suspect had a firearm, the FBI said. After the robbery, the suspect left the area on foot, according to the FBI. The FBI said that the suspect had been seen "sitting in a massage chair outside the bank several minutes before entering." Witnesses described the unidentified suspect as a man potentially in his 40s or 50s who stood about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, according to the FBI, which shared photos of the subject. Ottawa police looking for 34-year-old woman last seen in Vanier
The Ottawa police asked for the public's help as they searched for 34-year-old Mona Wilson on Sunday afternoon. Wilson was last seen at 8:30 a.m. Sunday near Lavergne Street in Vanier. She was described a white female with shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes and a mole on her right cheek. She was listed as being 5-5 and 145 pounds. When last seen, Wilson was wearing a loose-fitting top, dark blue leggings with white lamas on them and blue shoes with white soles and no laces. Police said in a news release that she has burns on her left foot and left thigh. Anyone with information was asked to call the Central District staff sergeant at 613-236-1222, extension 5212 and refer to case number 2025-183237. Calgary police seek driver of vehicle potentially linked to suspicious activity
Calgary police are seeking the driver of this Mitsubishi Outlander. (CPS handout) Calgary police are asking the public for help identifying the driver of a vehicle potentially linked with 'suspicious activity' in the Sunridge area earlier this week. Police say the vehicle was spotted in the commercial area of Sunridge on Tuesday, July 8, between 10 p.m. and midnight. 'Investigators believe the driver may have information that could assist us in an ongoing investigation,' police said in a Friday release. The vehicle is believed to be a 2019 or 2020 grey Mitsubishi Outlander with damage to the driver's-side rear panel. Anyone with information about the vehicle or its driver – or who has CCTV or dash-cam footage showing the vehicle – is asked to call police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
