Alt-Right YouTuber Lauren Southern claims Andrew Tate strangled and raped her after being introduced by Tommy Robinson
ANDREW Tate has been accused of strangling and raping Alt-Right YouTuber Lauren Southern. The Canadian, 30, claims she first met the shamed Brit during a trip to Bucharest alongside EDL founder Tommy Robinson. 6 6 6 Ms Southern alleges the self-proclaimed misogynist, who lives in the Romanian capital with his brother Tristan, refused to stop making sexual advances towards her after a night out. The allegations stem back to 2018 and were outlined in Ms Southern's recent memoir, This is Not Real Life. Tate, 38, responded by suggesting the accusations were because Ms Southern "needs book sales". The controversial YouTuber, who has over 700,000 subscribers, claims Tate drove her to a steakhouse in his "polished sports car" and was "flirtatious" for most of the short journey. But Ms Southern says his charm soon dwindled with their conversation starting to "feel off". She went on to say that the pair didn't speak one-on-one for some time as she joined up with Robinson's team to speak about funding a media startup. After the meeting, Tate offered the team to come back to his notorious Romanian compound. Ms Southern says she returned to her hotel room a few hours afterwards before Tate messaged her asking to meet up again. Later that night, the Canadian woman went back to the compound before going to a nightclub with the Tate's team. Ms Southern claims she was assured Robinson and the rest of his media team would be arriving to the club but they never showed. Moment commando cops storm Andrew Tate's compound through ROOF after blocked by 'bulletproof door' amid 'minor sex' probe She then recalls feeling "incredibly intoxicated" by the end of the evening and even vomited at one point. Tate then allegedly drove her back to her hotel where he carried her up to her room. Ms Southern then accuses Tate of suddenly kissing her. She alleged in the memoir: "I kissed him back briefly and then told him I wanted to sleep. "I said no, very clearly, multiple times, and tried to pull his hands off me. "He put his arm around my neck and began strangling me unconscious." She claims she tried to fight back but was repeatedly attacked. "I'd prefer not to share the rest. It's pretty obvious," she concluded. 6 6 Tate is yet to formally deny the allegations but he did post on X referring to them. He said: "Chooses the chapter about me to release 'for free' to get attention so she can sell her memoirs of promiscuity. "Coincidence I'm sure." In a reply to another X user, Tate wrote: "Was 10 years ago. Needs book sales I guess." He then claimed that he has texts messages which appear to show Ms Southern "begging for money, for her 'company' and begging to see me again". Tate's attorney Joseph McBride added that his client "unequivocally repudiates" the claims. He added: "We shall pursue Southern relentlessly for defamation." The allegation is the latest in a slew of cases against Andrew as well as Tristan. Both face a number of criminal charges in both the UK and Romania. Andrew is accused of ten charges in total. This includes rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain against three women. His brother, 36, is charged with 11 offences against one alleged victim - including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking. The pair deny all of the charges. Like the Tates, Ms Southern also has a chequered past. In 2018 - the same year as the alleged rape - she was refused entry to the UK on racism grounds. She handed out flyers in Luton that read "Allah is a gay god" outside a restaurant in the town centre. 6

Syrian asylum seeker, 18, appears in court accused of raping woman in a public toilet on popular seafront
A Syrian asylum seeker appeared in court accused with the rape of a young woman in a public toilet on Bournemouth seafront on Wednesday. Mohammed Abdullah, 18, allegedly attacked the 20-year-old woman in the toilet in Undercliff Drive, Bournemouth, at about 2am on July 6. Dorset Police originally arrested a 31-year-old Bournemouth man in connection with the incident but he was later released with no further action taken. Abdullah, who arrived in Britain as an asylum seeker in 2023 and has been granted permanent leave to remain here, was subsequently arrested at his home address in West Drayton, Middlesex, on Monday. He appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court charged with rape and sexual assault. Several of his family members watched on from the public gallery as he spoke only to confirm his name, age and address via an Arabic interpreter during the hearing. Harry Price-Smith, defending, said: 'He's originally from Syria and came to this country with his family two years ago as an asylum seeker, and has been granted indefinite leave to remain. 'His mother, father, two sisters and a family friend are all here in court to support him.' Abdullah, a student, was granted conditional bail by magistrates but has been remanded in custody while the prosecution appeals the decision. He is due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on August 14. Magistrate chair Jim Hoggart said: 'You are going to be placed on remand until the matter can be heard by a crown court in the next few days.' Detective Inspector Shaun Inkpen, of the Dorset Police Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT), said: 'After extensive enquiries, an 18-year-old man from the West Drayton area of Middlesex was arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault. Schoolgirl was 'dragged into garage and raped by Romanian teen as two others tried to make her perform sex acts' before Ballymena riots, court hears
A schoolgirl in Ballymena was walking along a street in the town when she was dragged into a garage and allegedly raped and sexually assaulted by three males, a court heard today. It is the latest development in the case which precipitated three days of street violence and in the County Antrim town in Northern Ireland last month. Ballymena Youth Court also heard that while two of her alleged assailants were arrested within hours of the incident on June 7, a third suspect has fled back to Romania. Details emerged in court for the first time as a 14-year-old Romanian boy, who cannot be identified because of his age, applied for bail. Both that defendant, and another 14-year-old, are on remand in custody charged with attempted rape. It was hours after the pair first appeared in court on June 9 that serious rioting and public disorder erupted in Ballymena and Romanian families fled their homes on Clonavon Terrace. Three nights of serious trouble saw houses attacked and cars burned with Police Service of Northern Ireland riot squads facing an angry mob hurling missiles, including petrol bombs, fireworks, masonry and bottles. Giving evidence in the contested application today, Detective Constable Sinclair told the court the girl's grandmother contacted police that evening, to report that her granddaughter 'had been raped by three males in a garage in Harryville', an area close to the town centre. When police attended and spoke to the schoolgirl, she told them she was walking along the street when 'three males grabbed her and took her to a garage down an alleyway'. The police officer told the court that inside the garage, the girl saw two mattresses 'and she was put on one'. He added that while two of the men tried to force the girl to perform sex acts on them, the third male who has since absconded 'raped her'. DC Sinclair continued: 'She said that this went on for about 10 minutes but when they heard a male voice outside, the three ran off.' At that stage, the complainant 'was able to leave the garage and get help' and based on the information provided by the teenager, police attended an address on Clonavon Terrace where the two 14-year-olds were arrested. The court heard they 'matched the description' given by the alleged victim. DC Sinclair said the bail applicant 'denied any criminal activity' and then refused to answer police questions during his interviews. Turning to bail objections, the investigator told District Judge Trevor Browne 'police have strong concerns that there's a risk he may leave the jurisdiction'. She said: 'Within hours of the defendant being arrested, a co-accused who had been identified, left the country and we believe he is residing in Romania. 'We believe that, given the significant public disorder that descended after the incident, there's a risk that if released, this defendant will leave the jurisdiction and we are not content that any conditions can be put in place to prevent that.' She added that while a proposed bail address outside of Ballymena had been put forward by the defence, there were also concerns about that as well. DC Sinclair explained that while the occupant had been put forward as a relative, she told officers who spoke to her that 'she was a friend of the family' rather than a relative. The officer added that police had also ascertained there were three children living in the property, including a 14-year-old girl. It was also a concern, said DC Sinclair, that another family with a young child appeared to be living in the house, a property she described as being 'in a poor state of repair'. The officer concluded: 'Police do not believe that any conditions will satisfy [their concerns] and we are aware that there's an opportunity to surrender passports and ID cards, however, we believe there are other ways of leaving the country.' Defence counsel Conn O'Neill lamented that none of those concerns had been raised with the defence before the hearing, adding that had they been 'we could have dealt with them'. Highlighting that the defendant had voluntarily undergone DNA testing and an identity parade, he suggested that given the multitude of objections from the police, that the court adjourn the bail application. Judge Browne told the barrister: 'I completely agree, with the best will in the world, the application just disintegrated before our very eyes. 'We are all mindful that he is a 14-year-old boy with no previous convictions and there is a working presumption in favour of bail... but it would not be fair to force you on without giving you the opportunity to address this important obstacle.' In adjourning the bail application, the judge adjourned both cases to August 6. By way of an update, the prosecutor told the judge the case had been expedited, that the complainant has completed her Achieving Best Evidence video interview with the police and that the 'target date for completion of the full file is the end of September'.

Child rape victim, 12, dies giving birth to 22-year-old attacker's baby
A 12-year-old girl who was allegedly raped by a 22-year-old man has died giving birth to her attacker's baby. The unnamed schoolgirl, who was eight months pregnant, was rushed to a maternity hospital in the eastern Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte after suffering from severe stomach cramps. Local media reports said she had to undergo an emergency C-section and died from a brain haemorrhage, but her newborn reportedly survived. The girl, who lived in the indigenous Warao tribal community, began experiencing pregnancy symptoms such as nausea and loss of appetite. But according to family members, the child did not understand what was happening, which meant that she did not tell her parents that she was expecting for several week. As a result, she did not receive any prenatal care, it is understood. Due to her age, hospital staff alerted the police, who have since opened an investigation into the rape of a vulnerable person. Her baby's father is reportedly a 22-year-old man who lived in the same indigenous community as her. Her uncle Andy Tovar said: 'This death was because of her pregnancy. It was an adult man, we already know who he is.' In Brazil, the rape of a vulnerable person comes with a penalty of up to 15 years behind bars. It is unclear if the suspect has been arrested. City Hall officials said the family has been offered expert counselling. A spokesperson said: 'The family received continuous monitoring from the unit's multidisciplinary team, including psychological support.' Abortion is only legal in Brazil when the pregnant person's life is at risk or when the pregnancy results from rape. The disturbing case comes after a 12-year-old girl gave birth to twins in Argentina after being denied an abortion by local authorities despite having been raped back in 2020. Authorities in Jujuy forced the child to remain pregnant until the twins could be safely delivered by caesarean section. Abortion only became legal in Argentina later that year.
