Tory Lanez seen covered in blood as vid shows him being stabbed 14 times in prison after rapper shot Megan Thee Stallion
A HARROWING picture has emerged showing rapper Tory Lanez covered in blood after being stabbed 14 times in a frenzied prison attack. Footage also captured the moment Lanez, who is serving a decade behind bars after being convicted of shooting fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in 2020, was stabbed inside the prison. 8 8 8 8 He was stabbed reportedly in his back, torso, head and face earlier this month inside the prison by a fellow inmate. The frenzied attack left "both of his lungs collapsed, and he was placed on a breathing apparatus," a social media post on his account read. An image has now been revealed which shows the rapper's entire body covered in blood just moments after the stabbing. It shows him walking through a corridor wearing grey shorts and gold chains with a shocked expression on his face. The picture was revealed after CCTV footage from inside the prison showed the rapper being stabbed by a fellow inmate. The 39-second clip, obtained by TMZ, shows Lanez stepping out of a cell and walking up a starcase before the man charges at him and stabs him 14 times. Lanez can be seen on the ground kicking his legs in a bid to fend the attacker off. He can also be heard screaming, "Oh God" as he collapses on the floor. The rapper eventually managed to flee from his attacker - alleged to be fellow inmate Santino Casio - and save his life. Lanez took to social media to say he is "deeply thankful" to have survived the attack but has been left with two collapsed lungs. It added that "both of his lungs collapsed, and he was placed on a breathing apparatus" but he is "now breathing on his own". According to the post, 'Despite being in pain, he is talking normally, in good spirits, and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through.' His injuries were severe but not life-threatening, according to his team. Pedro Calderon Michel, from the state Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, confirmed the attack. He said it took place at a housing unit at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi at about 7:20am. Staff dashed to the scene to give initial treatment and called 911. Lanez was then rushed to an outside hospital in Bakersfield for further treatment, reports TMZ. 8 8 8 Michel added that the stabbing was being investigated by the prison itself as well as the Kern County District Attorney's Office. Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in July of 2020. He was found guilty of assault semi-automatic firearm and two further gun charges at trial in December 2022. Megan Thee Stallion testified against Lanez during the trial, recalling that the pair had left a party at Kylie Jenner's Hollywood Hills home. Megan told the court that they argued and she jumped out of the car, before Lanez fired a gun at her heels and ordered her to dance. She required surgery to remove bullet fragments from her foot. Lanez has always refused to apologise and maintained his innocence, and his lawyers appealed his conviction. A judge denied a motion for him to receive a new trial in May 2023. Some figures from the hip-hop world controversially came out in favour of Lanez, including Iggy Azalea who penned a letter in support of him. The biggest hits from the star include The Color Violet, with over a billion streams, and WHATS POPPIN. Just last week, the rapper posted a photo of himself behind bars, teasing the release of his next album. 8

He says he thought it was a weapon -- so, he jumped him, hit him and stabbed him 14 times ... yet Casio claims he wasn't trying to kill Tory He told us the whole situation is unexpected, because he and Tory used to be cool -- having a decent relationship while they lived in neighboring cells at California Correctional Institution at Tehachapi. Casio also says he didn't walk away from the incident scot-free ... claiming he ended up with a stab wound in his leg, which is why he believes Tory had a weapon. As for whether he regrets his actions ... take a listen. Casio sounds a bit contrite, but he's definitely not fully apologizing. As we told you ... Lanez was stabbed 7 times in the back, 4 times in the torso and 3 times in the head earlier this month. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, but has since been returned to prison. Many have shown support for Tory in the aftermath of the stabbing ... including Drake and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who've asked CA Governor Gavin Newsom to pardon Tory for the 2020 Megan Thee Stallion shooting that landed him in prison. Tory's legal team tells us, "The recent attempt on his life was savage and ferocious, underscoring the clear and present danger he faces while incarcerated. Any claim to the contrary particularly from an individual serving a life sentence for heinous crimes is not only baseless but an absurd fabrication." They also maintain Tory's innocence, saying ... "His continued confinement is both a miscarriage of justice and a threat to his safety. He must be released immediately."

Detroit rapper Skilla Baby's head grazed in drive-by shooting in Redford Township, police say
Detroit rapper Skilla Baby was injured during a shooting in which over 20 rounds were fired toward the vehicle he was driving Thursday evening in Redford Township, according to police. The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Trevon Gardner, was reported in stable condition Friday "and should make a full recovery," the Redford Township Police Department said in a statement. The emergency call about 7 p.m. sent police officers to the area of Eight Mile Road and Beech Daly after an SUV crashed into a building. The driver was the only person in the vehicle at the time. Police said in their report they determined over 20 rounds were fired toward the vehicle before the suspect ran off. A witness took the wounded driver to a local hospital. Gardner "suffered three non-fatal gunshot wounds before crashing his vehicle," police said. Multiple sources reported that the rapper was grazed in the head and shot in the leg. CBS News Detroit observed multiple shell casings and the vehicle with several bullet holes when at the scene. Police are still investigating and ask that anyone with information on the case contact Detective Ed French at 313-387-2579.
