The Trump administration tapped the brakes on its trade war Monday, temporarily rolling back tariffs on Chinese goods from 145 percent to about 30 percent, which the president hailed as a 'total reset' on relations with China. In reality, tariffs on most Chinese goods will range from about 40 to 60 percent, including other tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump both this year and during his first term.
