16th Street Mall Ride in downtown Denver gets a new name
The free shuttle buses that run up and down Denver's 16th Street are getting a new name. RTD It's now the 16th Street FreeRide. The Regional Transportation District sent photos of what the rebranded buses look like. They say they are changing the name to match the new branding for 16th Street. Last month Denver city leaders announced that they are dropping the "Mall" from 16th Street after completing major renovations. While the shuttles have a new name, nothing else is changing. They will still be free to ride on and will be available seven days a week.

Rush-hour services on MTR's Tseung Kwan O line suspended due to power fault
Hong Kong's railway operator has suspended rush-hour services on the Tseung Kwan O line because of a power supply disruption. The MTR Corporation said on Thursday that engineers were on-site fixing the fault triggered by a short circuit resulting from the power supply disruption. It said it had arranged free shuttle bus services for passengers between Tseung Kwan O and Lohas Park stations, and between Tiu Keng Leng and Po Lam stations. The rail giant urged passengers to consider alternative routes or other forms of transport if possible. More to follow …

Preston and Chorley hospitals shuttle bus to be axed in cuts
A free shuttle bus that ferries staff between the Royal Preston and Chorley and South Ribble hospitals is to be scrapped as part of a wider drive to cut service, which has operated for more than a decade, can also be used by patients during off-peak hours, although they have to pay to do Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LTH) is set to withdraw the £200,000-a-year scheme from 30 May. The trust has to make £60m of savings during the 2025-26 financial year, and bosses said they were unable to continue subsidising the service.
