Fighter's shocking meltdown filmed on plane
Aaron 'Tex' Johnson threw a tantrum on the plane and at the airport Aaron 'Tex' Johnson isn't new to fighting. After all, the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu expert makes his living as a mixed martial arts fighter. However, he's presumably new to fighting on airplanes, and his meltdown was captured on video. In videos posted to platforms like X, TikTok, and Instagram, Johnson is seen arguing with a Southwest Airlines flight attendant, and it is not going well. It's unclear what sparked the disturbance, but the fighter is seen yelling at the flight attendant about his bag. This quickly leads to a shouting match with fellow passengers. The flight attendant holds her ground, and the rest of the passengers are clearly on her side, joining her to yell at Johnson. The plane appears to be connected to the jet bridge because the fighter makes his way to the door as his fellow passengers gleefully shout,'Bye!' Instead of leaving, however, Johnson turns around and screams. At this point, the flight attendant begins to push Johnson off the plane as fellow crew members rush to assist her. Several large male passengers are also seen standing nearby, clearly signalling they are willing to assist the hard working flight crew if necessary. In another video posted to X, Johnson is being wheeled on a stretcher at the airport with a police escort. The officers remain calm as Johnson screams, 'I'm being treated like a Black person right now.' According to the New York Post, Johnson has since followed up with a post on Instagram Stories: 'For anyone trying to drag me down, it doesn't matter to me, I have the best friends.' He later followed up with a cryptic post that said: 'I never wanted to carry a gun Never used a weapon Been attacked by bats, knives and guns pulled I'm still here Karen's and b****es' It's currently unknown if charges were filed against Johnson or if he'll be welcome on future Southwest flights. This Traveler's Very Public Airport Meltdown Over Carry-on Luggage Got Her Booted Off Her Flight
Flying during the summer travel season can sometimes be a stressful experience, but one viral video revealed the extreme difficulty some travelers are having. While a trip to Italy usually means relaxation and la dolce vita (or the sweet life), one woman hit the point of exasperation at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) due to a disagreement at the boarding counter, allegedly over the weight of a suitcase, the International Business Times reports. The traveler, who was reported to be female, showed her frustration by lying down on the ground and pounding her fists into the stone flooring. At the same time, she was kicking her legs and stomping on the ground in despair. The traveler also waved a piece of paper throughout the disagreement. The incident took place inside Milan Airport's Terminal 1 at gate B30, presumably during the boarding process, based on airport signage in the video. Travelers could be seen keeping their distance, while some at the counter just stared at the woman as she displayed her frustration. The video also has audio of the incident, where the passenger begins wailing in rhythm with the physical motions. In subsequent videos shared on Reddit, Italian police officers were seen talking to the woman as she sat on the ground. Airline personnel are also seen trying to calmly assist the passenger during the time of the event. "Does having a tantrum at the airport ever work?" one person shared in a Reddit thread. "Oh you're hysterical? Let's get you trapped on a 6 hour flight then." Other social media users called the passenger "childish" and compared her to a "toddler." According to the woman was not allowed to board her flight and had to book a new ticket. The airport did not reply to a request for comment from Travel + Leisure . The incident is a reminder that while many airlines don't routinely weigh bags or check sizes, it's best practice to be ready to pivot plans if you've overpacked since every carrier has rules for carry-on luggage weight limits. And, perhaps most importantly, outbursts against employees is never the solution. For years, airline employees, specifically flight attendants and gate agents, have spoken out about the difficult conditions they face from unruly and disruptive passengers. Numerous examples of assault, threats, and abuse were documented in a February 2022 letter from labor representatives of transportation workers and airline gate agents to federal government officials. 'Airline gate agents are a vital part of a multilayered airline security and safety process at the airport,' the letter reads. 'Our members are responsible for checking passengers into their flights, checking luggage to comply with airline weight and balance limits and boarding passengers onto the aircraft in an orderly and structured way.'

Dear Abby: My 2-year-old disrupted her grandmother's funeral service and my family is furious
DEAR ABBY: My husband's stepmother passed recently after a long illness, and her children specifically wanted our family, including our 2-year-old, to be at her service. When we arrived at the church, I tried to sit in the back pew so I could take her out when she was antsy, but they put us in front with the rest of the family. Predictably, we lasted there for only about 30 minutes before my daughter started being disruptive. I took her out to the vestibule where she had a tantrum, so I then took her down into the basement playroom. Immediately after the funeral, my in-laws came after me and berated me for 'ruining' the video they had professionally produced of the service. They said that not only can you see us exiting the sanctuary, but you can hear my daughter making noise outside, which messed up the recording for everyone. There are many parts of this I don't understand, like why there is a recording, but I'm not sure what to do next. I have apologized for not insisting we sit in the back. Other than not attending at all, I think I did what I could to reduce our impact. If it matters, my older kids sat nicely through the whole 90-minute service.
