Nothing Headphone 1 to Launch Alongside Nothing Phone 3

July is going to be a big month for British tech company Nothing, which is not only launching its "first true flagship," the Nothing Phone 3, but will also unveil a new audio product, the Nothing Headphone 1. Headphone 1 is due to launch on July 1, said Nothing Founder and CEO Carl Pei speaking on stage at SXSW London on Thursday. "It's our first over-the-head headphones," he said. "A lot of our users have been asking for it." Audio is hardly a new category for Nothing. In fact the company's first foray into the hardware world was with the Nothing Ear 1, earbuds that captured out attention with their striking transparent design. The company's focus on design is "a necessity," said Pei as the company was late to market and needed a way to differentiate itself. "We call it technical warmth," he said, describing Nothing's design language. "At first glance, these parts look really mechanical, [but] once you dig a little bit deeper, there's a lot of fun elements." Pei also gave a hint into what we can expect for the company in the next five years. "The smartphone is the most important product today, but that doesn't mean it's going to be the most important product forever," he said. He's interested in seeing what new form factors tech companies are bringing to market, but would ideally like Nothing to be the company that finds the killer next tech product.

Nothing Phone (3) and Nothing Headphone (1) colors and prices leak

Nothing is unveiling its first-ever proper flagship device, the Phone (3), in July, and today its colorways and prices have purportedly been outed by a tipster over on X. According to this source, the Nothing Phone (3) will come in black and white, and will start at $799 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will go up to $899 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Nothing Phone (3a) Pro The base price is similar to what Nothing CEO Carl Pei teased a while back - £800. However, it's interesting to see this leak referencing US dollar pricing - we have to wonder, does this mean the Phone (3) will be fully launching in the US, not just as part of a developer beta program? That's still a mystery, as are most things regarding this device. What we do know is that it won't have Nothing's trademark Glyph interface on the back, though this may just get upgraded to a customizable dot-matrix display, if rumors prove to be correct. Nothing is also working on its first-ever pair of over-ear headphones, and these will allegedly be called Nothing Headphone (1). They will be offered in black and white with a release date of September 30 and a price of $299. Source

Google's full Pixel 10 launch schedule might be out of the bag now

Are you excited about the next big "made by Google" smartphones, especially after that recent rumor calling for an unusually early announcement this summer? Unfortunately, it looks like you may have to wait a little longer than you hoped for your chance to buy a Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, or Pixel 10 Pro Fold , at least according to a new report published by the generally trustworthy folks over at Android Headlines. Interestingly, the launch schedule rumored today also includes a date that's likely to feel unusual when put in perspective. Does August 13 sound familiar? That might be because the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro , Pixel 9 Pro XL , and Pixel 9 Pro Fold were all unveiled on that date last year. Curiously enough, Google is now expected to hold its undoubtedly glamorous Pixel 10 series launch event on August 13, 2025, which obviously falls on a different day of the week than in 2024. Specifically, on a Wednesday instead of a Tuesday. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold looks pretty familiar in these leaked renders from a little while back. Then again, Google is not Apple, and with the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro unveiled on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, this schedule revision from last year doesn't exactly come as a shock. What's perhaps more interesting (and exciting) to hear is that the search giant could release the entire Pixel 10 family exactly one week after its formal announcement. We're talking both in-store availability and shipments of online pre-orders reportedly slated to begin on August 20, which is naturally not as early as June or July, but still sounds pretty good for four super-advanced Android phones. Pre-orders, of course, should kick off on August 13 to coincide with the quartet's launch ceremony, and although today's report doesn't specifically mention any regions or territories, Google is likely to have global rollout plans for its hugely anticipated 2025 Android flagships. As always, that depends on a number of different things. For starters, on what device you're currently rocking. If you've purchased a member of the Pixel 9 family (any member, really) over the last 10 months (and especially in the last few weeks at a hefty discount), you're unlikely to find many reasons to upgrade to a newer model. The "vanilla" Pixel 10 is expected to add a telephoto sensor to the Pixel 9 's primary + ultra-wide-angle rear-facing camera arrangement, which is definitely... better than nothing. That's also better than the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL's apparent upgrades over their respective predecessors, which are pretty much nonexistent. The Pixel 10 looks different, but really not that different from the Pixel 9. Naturally, leaked renders and real-life photographs often leave room for under-the-hood changes to be revealed closer to a phone's official announcement, so there's clearly still plenty of time for Google to surprise us in all kinds of ingenious ways and seize a bunch of spots on our list of the best phones money can buy in 2025.
