Stacey Solomon responds to a troll who says she looks like a horse as she admits she couldn't help but address the 'horrible' comment

Stacey Solomon has responded to a troll who told her she looks like a 'horse' in a new Instagram video shared to her Stories on Thursday afternoon. The comment in question was a horse emoji with the word mouth next to it which was posted underneath one of Stacey's recent updates. The TV presenter, 35, said she was unable to ignore the 'horrible' comment despite usually flicking past any negativity on her social media platform. Stacey, who is a mother of five, took a video of herself discussing the comment and how it made her feel, as she admitted she 'couldn't get away from it'. She said: 'I don't usually read my messages, or reply to them. Well I read the nice ones, I don't read the horrible ones. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the . 'But this message is literally staring me in the face, it's at the top of my comments on my last story. So I couldn't get away from it.' 'I don't know if I'm supposed to be offended or take it as a compliment. But I actually think horses are really pretty.' Stacey then told her driver Steve what had happened, saying: 'Steve someone has commented a picture of me with a horse.' Steve replied: 'Who? A picture of you?, Stacey then added: 'Steve's not having it! Horses are quite pretty Steve.' He then sweetly said: 'Maybe it's because of your nice teeth.' She later updated fans with a new post, writing: 'Love you all. Honestly I have the best family on here ever! Genuinely I don't mind what people think of me. Truly I feel bad for mean people. 'But I think that's mostly because I have the most amazing family, the most supportive friends (like Steve) & the nicest extended family on here. 'So thank you for being a massive part of my confidence and happiness. I love you all. And we must protect Steve at all costs.' She later updated fans with a new post, writing: 'Love you all. Honestly I have the best family on here ever! Genuinely I don't mind what people think of me. Truly I feel bad for mean people' Stacey suffered some heat recently when her followers turned on her over her ill-judged BAFTA rant after losing out on a prize at the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards. Stacey's fans have branded her 'entitled' and 'big-headed' after she furiously ranted at the BAFTA judges in an Instagram post. Fans were left less than impressed by the 'whinging' mother-of-five as they told her to 'get a grip' and to stopping being a 'bad loser'. The presenter's BBC show Sort Your Life Out was nominated in the Factual Entertainment category but lost out to Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder's Grand Tour. However, while she congratulated the winners, Stacey couldn't help but reveal how 'gutted' she was for her team who 'deserved' the award as she declared that they were 'robbed'. Fans claimed Stacey is starting to 'show her true colours' compared to her usual wholesome demeanor and told the BBC presenter to 'grow up' and that she has 'got too big for her boots'. They wrote: 'She's not as wholesome as she comes across; It's called life Stacey so get a grip; Be thankful for where you are and remind yourself where you came from. Stop whinging; 'Grow up. Don't be a bad loser. Others were better. You smile and shut up; 1st world problems of the 1%; 'Oh Shut up will you..... just remind yourself that, you can go home to a nice tidy warm and friendly house, food in the fridge, heat in the radiators and a loving family; 'Showing her true colours - worthy of being cancelled; Get real Stace. Just because YOU want it doesn't mean you deserve it; Getting too big for her boots me thinks; 'She gone so big headed!!!!; Entitlement is off the charts; 'It's ok to be disappointed for the team, but thinking you should have won a BAFTA because the show you make is hard work is just ludicrous. You took the job. I'm sure get paid handsomely for it. A lot of truly hardworking people don't get well paid and don't expect an award, or even think they deserve one.' However not everyone agreed and others believed Stacey was being 'refreshingly honestly' and was simply just 'disappointed for her team'. They penned: 'I don't think she was letting rip she was just saying she was disappointed for her team. She wasn't ranting; 'Why is it unwholesome admitting that you're really disappointed? I think it's refreshingly honest!' In the midst of the backlash, Rylan himself also took to Instagram to reflect on his BAFTA win, alongside a gallery of snaps from the evening. Now fans have claimed that Stacey is starting to 'show her true colours' compared to her usual wholesome demeanor and told the BBC presenter to 'grow up and not to be a bad loser' In a lengthy caption, he wrote: 'Last night we won a @bafta. 'I never expected to be writing this post but I'm so grateful. I'm so so proud of what we made with Rob and Rylan. 'Our wonderful team did such a fantastic job creating a show that became something really special. I couldn't have asked for a better lot of people around me. 'To @robrinder thank you for being an amazing human and sharing this wonderful journey with me, we truly are the best of friends and I'm so glad to share this win with you 'To @staceysolomon , @raceacrosstheworld and @britishvogue it's an honour to have shared a category with you. Congratulations on your incredible shows. 'And finally to @bafta , cheers for this incredible honour and from little Rylan on the Xfactor, just goes to show, it might be a rocky start but if you put your mind to it, it all works out in the end. Started off as the joke…. Still laughing xxxx.' On Monday morning, Stacey, who was dressed in a green Nike sweater and blue cycle shorts, watered her vegetable patch while expressing to her fans how she felt about the loss. In the midst of the backlash, Rylan himself also took to Instagram to reflect on his BAFTA win, alongside a gallery of snaps from the evening Stacey fumed: 'We didn't win a BAFTA. And I know I'm supposed to take it gracefully like a champ but, I'll be honest, I'm devastated! Laughing at her reaction, she continued: 'I'm not handling it very well, I'm not taking it very gracefully - I'm devastated! I'm devastated for our whole team, like I'm so gutted for our team. 'Everyone got dressed up and was really hopeful, I think because they work so hard. It's not an easy show to make, Sort Your Life Out and the team work so hard to make it happen and they so deserve the BAFTA. 'The Sort Your Life Out team deserved a BAFTA and I'm devastated. I'm not saying that everyone else didn't deserve their BAFTAs, they absolutely did. 'People think making TV is really easy and it's not, so everyone deserves recognition. But I'm just gutted for my whole Sort Your Life Out family because I feel like they deserved a BAFTA. I'm gonna say it - I'm gutted!' Going on to reveal what it takes to make their show, she went on: 'We'll pack up a house and within seven days that house is packed up, into vans, over to a warehouse, laid out on the floor, we go through it meticulously, we make sure it doesn't just get chucked away. We donate, we recycle, we resell things. We put it all back and try and put it in systems to help families move forward...' In recent weeks, fans have been seeing a different side to Stacey on her reality show, titled Stacey & Joe (pictured on the show with Joe Swash) She also gave a shout out to the families who give up their time and open their homes to TV audiences, especially when they run the risk of being judged. Waving her hose in the air, a fuming Stacey concluded: 'I'm gutted!' before praising her whole team and noting they planned to give it their all for series six. Meanwhile, the wife of Joe Swash also made her feelings clear in the comments section of her co-star Dilly Carter's post. Professional organizer Dilly penned a somewhat more gracious message after losing out on the prize, noting that she was chuffed to even be nominated. Alongside a red carpet video, she said: 'Walking out, like we walked in, with our heads high and super proud of what we have achieved as a show, as a production. 'It's so easy in these moments to feel sad because we haven't won and forget about where we actually are. In a room full of incredible talent. But in the actual room. 'Some people dream of their show being nominated so for us to have been nominated twice is unreal. So let's celebrate the show and just how far it's come. It wasn't so long ago we were just filming a pilot.

‘Furious' Channel 4 F1 presenter slams trolls for horrific abuse about her appearance after undergoing operation

FORMULA ONE presenter Lee McKenzie has slammed trolls for horrific abuse after undergoing an operation. The Channel 4 star is one of the top sports commentators around and currently fronts the channel's F1 coverage. 2 2 McKenzie has covered plenty of other sports in the past too, including the Olympics, Wimbledon and the Six Nations. She's been leading Channel 4's F1 coverage since 2016 and is often spotted at the season's biggest races. However, McKenzie claims her most recent appearance did not go to plan. After turning up to present at the Spanish Grand Prix, she revealed that she had been subjected to vile abuse by trolls. McKenzie says they took aim at her weight and appearance. And she has now revealed that she had gone to Spain after a gruelling operation in hospital last month. Writing on Instagram, McKenzie blasted: 'I've been thinking about whether I should post this but I will as it's not just about me, it's for all women and men too. 'Last month I went into hospital for an operation and I've been struggling with some health issues for a while now. 'But the comments about my appearance and weight at the Spanish Grand Prix have been horrific. I've had to turn off comments on my social media. It's worth saying they came from women and men alike. F1 stars' pets including driver with thirteen cats, Leclerc's yacht-loving pooch and Hamilton's dog Roscoe with own car 'If you don't like what someone wears or looks like on television, feel free to think about it but why send it to them? Why contact someone to be deliberately rude? 'I'm a journalist and I'm good at my job and I'm furious that this affects me. But it does and there will be people out there getting similar abuse that are not as strong as me. Don't do it. 'The good news is that a larger operation that I thought I was going to get isn't needed at the moment and things can be treated with medication. 'Many people have this. It's not about being unwell. It's about the vile comments from women and men commenting on my appearance. 'My health is improving and I'm back at the gym. For me. Not for anyone else. Think before you write to someone.'

I refuse to buy my kid new school shoes so colour them in with a Sharpie to last instead – trolls call me a cheapskate

A MOTHER has revealed that she is refusing to buy her child new school shoes for the rest of term as she has come up with a handy hack to keep her current pair looking fresh. Samantha Potts, a savvy woman from the UK, explained that rather than constantly splashing the cash each term on new school shoes, she simply uses a Sharpie pen to colour in where the material has peeled off. 2 2 But Samantha's quick and easy trick has been met with a barrage of nasty abuse, with mean trolls accusing her of being a ' cheapskate '. Not only this, but other parents voiced their concern that Samantha's idea could set her young daughter, who is in primary school, up for "ridicule and bullying '. Posting online, Samantha gave her followers a close-up look at her daughter's black shoes, with half of the gloss peeled off. But with Samantha 'fed up of buying shoes ', she got a permanent marker to give the tired footwear a freshen up for the last term. Alongside her short clip, Samantha said: 'When it's the last term of the year at school and your kid has decided to peel off her shoes - you are now stood here colouring it in with a permanent marker because you don't want to buy any more shoes.' Samantha then asked: 'The question is, do I pull this bit off so it's the whole front of one shoe? Do I keep it on? Who knows?' Following this, she asked her followers: 'What will look better? I feel like at this stage it can't get any worse.' Showing off her daughter's coloured-in patent shoes, Samantha recognised: 'I know they look bad.' The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ samanthapotts05 just 15 hours ago, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 221,800 views. Not only this, but it's also amassed 3,324 likes, 735 comments and 296 shares. But trolls were stunned by Samantha's purse-friendly idea and many eagerly raced to the comments to voice their opinions. One person said: ' Shoe Zone £10. Go buy some cheapskate.' Another added: 'Never would I send my kid to school in shoes like that, regardless of it being last term or not.' A third commented: ' Asda do school shoes for £6, that works out at £1 a week!' One mother fumed: 'You can't let her walk around like that for six weeks, please buy her some shoes.' EXTRA HELP WITH SCHOOL UNIFORM COSTS IF you can't get targeted help from your council, you might have some other options available to you. In some areas, you can talk directly to your school, which might be able to offer you clothing. Or, you might be able to get cheap garments from low-budget shops or charity stores. Some charities offer help to families in need too. But bear in mind charities often have a limited amount of money to give and usually have specific criteria which must be met in order to get a grant. Charity Turn2Us has a free grants search tool on its website which you can use to find out what help is available to you. Meanwhile, you can always try approaching your nearest Citizens' Advice branch. If you don't know where your nearest Citizens' Advice branch is, you can find out by visiting If you're not eligible for a school uniform grant you might be able to get help through the Household Support Fund. Whilst another slammed: 'Or just buy your kids new shoes! Would you go out like that? No.. so why make your child?' At the same time, another fuming user wrote: 'I'll buy new shoes. This is not on. I get it times are hard but there has to be a pot for this stuff. 'I wouldn't dream of sending a child to school in those. Knowing how mean children can be, you're opening your child up to ridicule and bullying.' She is only in Year 1, most days her dresses are covered in pen or paint or her lunch from the day and she couldn't care less so I don't think a little permanent marker on her shoes is gonna bother her Samantha Potts But in response to the haters, Samantha later responded: 'Wow, didn't expect this to blow up as much as it did. 'Just to clear a few things up - she's got 31 days left. Nine of those are PE so she will be in trainers. 'Why would I teach my kid that intentionally ruining something gets rewarded? It's wasteful and the structural integrity of the shoes are still there, if they were broken I'd replace them. 'She is only in Year 1, most days her dresses are covered in pen or paint or her lunch from the day and she couldn't care less so I don't think a little permanent marker on her shoes is gonna bother her.'

Jodie Marsh weeps in court after being told she can keep lemurs at her animal sanctuary

TV personality Jodie Marsh wept in court yesterday after she was told she can keep lemurs at her animal sanctuary. She had appealed against a council's decision to refuse her application for a wild animal licence. 2 Concerns had been raised about her taking a meerkat to the pub. Former glamour model Marsh, 46, said trolls were behind much of the criticism of her sanctuary in Lindsell, Essex. At a previous hearing, clips of screeching zoo lemurs were played to Chelmsford magistrates' court. But Judge Christopher Williams dismissed the council's argument about the animals' noise. He said Marsh was passionate about the care and treatment of the animals under her supervision. The judge added: 'The decision by Uttlesford District Council was wrong and continues to be wrong. I allow the appeal.' The former Page 3 girl has traded her hard-partying lifestyle for hands-on work at her own animal sanctuary in Essex. In a recent interview with The Sun, Jodie referred to herself as a farm girl and a "mess". In a further self-deprecating comment, she added that she was "fat but happier than ever". Despite her contentment, she lives with "anxiety/depression, aches and pains" and is using CBD oil to improve her daily wellbeing. Jodie Marsh gives health update after saying she's 'fat but happier than ever' now she's quit glamour modelling The model-turned-bodybuilder- who put her huge country pile on the market last year - said: "You might recognise me as someone that used to be glamorous, sexy, a bodybuilder and everything else, but now I'm just a farm girl and I look a mess." 2

You star Madeline Brewer claps back at nasty trolls who compared her to a GOBLIN: 'I'm not ugly'

Starring in one of Netflix 's most popular shows meant Madeline Brewer gained immense attention in recent months - both good and bad. The 33-year-old joined the final season of the show You as Brontë, the women who plays a crucial role in bringing down serial killer Joe Goldberg. But the actress has now admitted that she got hit with a wave of insulting comments after the beloved series premiered last month. And she admitted that the hate wasn't geared at her performance on the series but rather, her appearance. During a recent interview with People, she admitted that fans of the show were calling her 'ugly' online, as she clapped back at the nasty trolls. 'I didn't expect people to like Brontë,' she admitted. 'But I also didn't expect people to call me ugly. Because I'm not.' She went on to describe her shock at receiving the negative comments considering that a majority of the viewership seemed to be women. 'I thought the show's fanbase was mostly young women,' she continued. 'I never anticipated the amount of misogyny that would be fired at me.' Brewer, who describes herself as a longtime fan of the show, said she believed the backlash likely came from people not wanting to see their 'hero' (referring to Joe, the murderous antagonist of the show) taken down - especially not by a woman. 'It especially pisses them off that it was a woman. A new woman. A woman they might not find attractive,' she said. 'So they get on their phones and comment on my pictures like, "You look like a goblin." And I'm just like… girl, lighten up. I'm not ugly.' The hate hit a nerve for Brewer, who said she was bullied growing up so she found some of the particularly mean comments 'triggering.' But she added that therapy and age had changed her perspective on how she deals with hate. 'If this had happened when I was 25, I would have crumbled,' she admitted. 'Now that I'm in my 30s? I don't give a f**k.' That confidence doesn't come from just anywhere. She explained that while some comments triggered her, therapy and being in her 30s really saved her from caring about what other people had to say about her Brewer said her biggest source of reassurance is her fiancé, cinematographer Jack Thompson-Roylance. 'He just thinks the sun shines out of my butt,' she shared. 'He thinks I'm the most beautiful woman in the whole world. 'His is the only opinion that really matters to me.' Brewer went on to say that the trolls can do what they want. She explained that criticism essentially comes with the territory when you become an actor. 'As long as they're doing it to me and not someone who can't handle it - bring it on,' she concluded.
