Honor of Kings World Cup set to kick off in Riyadh with $3m prize pool
The KWC is debuting in the Middle East for the first time, signaling the Gulf's rising influence in global esports. Honor of Kings has unveiled the full schedule and details for the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC), which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting July 15 as part of the Esports World Cup 2025. The global tournament will gather elite teams from around the world to battle for a prize pool of $3m. This year's edition of the KWC introduces notable changes, including the participation of two invited teams from China's King Pro League (KPL), the KPL Spring Season champion and the Asian Champions League (ACL) winner, promising high-level competition and more exciting matchups on the international stage. A key feature returning for the KWC is the Global Ban&Pick system, which was introduced earlier this year to add a new layer of strategy to team drafting. The format has already delivered dramatic results across regional leagues, including Game 7 thrillers and surprise victories from underdog teams. The competition opens with the Group Stage from July 15 to 19, where 16 teams will be split into four groups of four. Teams will compete in a double-elimination format with best-of-three (Bo3) matches. Group winners will advance to the 'Group Kings' stage, while runners-up head to the 'Last Chance' round. On July 20, the Last Chance stage will see second-place teams from the group phase face off in two best-of-five (Bo5) matches: A2 vs B2 and C2 vs D2. Winners of these matches will secure the final spots in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Group Kings stage will pit group winners against each other in Bo3 matches: A1 vs B1 and C1 vs D1. Victors will enter the playoffs as Pool 1 seeds, while the losers join Pool 2 alongside the Last Chance winners. The Playoffs will run from July 23 to 26 in a single-elimination bracket format, featuring the top eight teams, six qualifiers from the earlier rounds plus the two directly seeded KPL teams, and TT Global. The tournament culminates in the Grand Finals on July 26, played in a best-of-seven format using the high-stakes 'Ultimate Battle' draft mode. To mark the occasion, Honor of Kings is also launching a range of in-game events. From June 24 through August 28, players can access the first esports-themed Honor Pass for free. By completing missions, players level up to earn rewards, including the Nuwa–Syzygy Moonlight skin at Level 1 and the exclusive Alessio KWC skin at Level 80. Unlock the Power of the Battlefield: How to Top Up Honor of Kings and Dominate Every Match
In the realm of mobile gaming, few titles command as much attention and passion as Honor of Kings. Developed by TiMi Studios and published by Tencent Games, this multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game has captivated millions with its intense strategy, stunning visuals, and thrilling real-time battles. Whether you are a seasoned warrior or a newcomer learning the ropes, topping up your Honor of Kings account is one of the most effective ways to boost your gaming experience and rise through the ranks faster than ever before. Topping up Honor of Kings means purchasing in-game currency—often referred to as vouchers or tokens—that allow players to unlock exclusive skins, buy heroes, and access premium features that are otherwise difficult to obtain. This not only enhances visual appeal but also offers tactical advantages. Limited-edition skins sometimes come with animations or voice lines that create an immersive feel, while certain heroes, when purchased early, can give you an edge over your opponents. To top up Honor of Kings, players can choose from several trusted methods. The most direct approach is through the in-game store, where you can use your preferred payment method to purchase vouchers securely. However, many players prefer third-party top-up platforms that often offer better conversion rates, promotional discounts, and even reward points for frequent transactions. Whichever method you choose, ensure the platform is legitimate and verified to protect your gaming account from scams or security threats. Once your top-up is complete, the possibilities within Honor of Kings open wide. From leveling up your heroes to joining ranked matches with more confidence, having the necessary in-game currency allows you to compete on an even playing field with top-tier players. Special in-game events also become more accessible with regular top-ups, letting you earn rare rewards that may never return once the event concludes. One of the most exciting parts of topping up Honor of Kings is the ability to personalize your gameplay. The game features an incredible array of character skins inspired by Chinese mythology, historical figures, and modern fantasy. These skins not only change your appearance but also reflect your progress and achievements, showcasing your dedication to other players on the battlefield. For international players, topping up Honor of Kings may require a few additional steps. Since the game was originally released for the Chinese market, some regional restrictions may apply. In such cases, using VPN services or dedicated international top-up platforms can ensure seamless access to vouchers and in-game items. Many websites now offer multilingual support, simplifying the process even for non-Chinese players eager to enjoy the full scope of what Honor of Kings has to offer. It's worth noting that while topping up Honor of Kings can bring great benefits, moderation is key. The game is designed to be enjoyable for both free-to-play and paying users. Strategy, team coordination, and skill ultimately determine success on the battlefield. Still, topping up remains a powerful tool for players who wish to enhance their journey, explore more content, and stand out in every skirmish. Whether you're unlocking a majestic skin, purchasing a new hero, or simply enjoying the thrill of a well-earned victory, the ability to top up Honor of Kings elevates the entire gaming experience. So equip your champions, enter the arena, and let your tactics and top-ups lead you to glory. TIME BUSINESS NEWS

Just hours after leaving their respective teams in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera, Renejay "Renejay" Barcarse, and John Paul "H2WO" Salonga bared their move to Honor of Kings. The former Nexplay troika transferred to Honor of Kings alongside renowned online influencers Setsuna "Akosi Dogie" Ignacio and Oscar "Sumpak" Romero. In a video released Thursday, Honor of Kings officially unveiled the quintet's move, marking a major shake-up in the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) scene, as all five were previously prominent figures in MLBB. Yawi was a former roamer for TNC while Renejay and H2WO previously suited up for Aurora and Smart Omega Neos (MDL), respectively. The three were also former teammates at Nexplay, which rose to prominence back in the day thanks to the influence of one of its pillars in Akosi Dogie.
