La DoubleJ Resort 2026 Collection
'Wrapping the world in joy' is La DoubleJ's motto—and even if the world doesn't seem to listen to such urging, founder JJ Martin bravely marches on as a standard bearer of mood-boasting, spirit-lifting fashion. To celebrate 10 years of turning everyday style into a full-on fiesta of high-vibration prints, she relocated the company to the new LDJ Starquarters, a six-story playground in Milan's hip Naviglio district. Housing the label's full operations and serving as a consciousness-raising hub for its community, the new LDJ offices are crowned by the expansive Galactic Deck—a gathering space with sweeping 360 views over the city, where the the brand's followers come together for spiritual practices, some of which involve a custom-made gong. Encrusted with meteorite fragments, and forged in a fire ceremony at Mount Etna, the gong presides over meditations, healing sessions, and yoga classes. For Martin, the sky's the limit—quite literally.
Prints may be LDJ's raison d'être—the pulsing, high-frequency current around which the entire wardrobe orbits—but even Martin herself occasionally finds the signal a little too strong. 'Lately I opened my closet and thought, 'What the heck? How am I supposed to get dressed with all these patterns?'' she laughed. So the volume's been toned down (just a notch): think solid staples ('always with a little twist to them '), crisp white shirts ('we've got seven white shirts in the collection!'), not-so-plain denim ('jacquarded, obviously'), and dashes of nocturnal black.
The prints themselves have also mellowed—motifs have grown in scale, giving everything a bit more breathing room. The visual jazz has softened, yet the trippy, esoteric symbolism is still vibing. Cue the 'Fantastic Creatures' capsule, a prismatic loungewear fantasy made in collaboration with the surrealist Ecuadorian artist Beto Val featuring wild alchemies of flora and fauna: flamingos blooming into hollyhocks, leafy parrots with beak-shaped foliage, seashells spiraling into insects-turned-flowers, and a helicopter-bird-root hybrid that defies both botany and logic. Part spirit quest, part slumber party, and full-on LDJ.

11 Things Olivia Munn Loves, Including An Unusual Item In Her Carry-On
Shop Like is a column in which Forbes Vetted asks some of the most stylish and notable personalities about their favorite items to buy, gift and receive. Look no further for shopping advice and inspiration. As a mom of two, a wife and an actress, Olivia Munn has a packed schedule. The Your Friends & Neighbors star is currently filming season 2 of the hit Apple TV show, but that didn't stop her from attending Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women's Filmmaker Program luncheon last week in New York City. For Munn, the reaction to the show has been unparalleled. 'The response we've gotten from the first season has been so amazing; it has given everyone an extra boost as we film,' she told me. 'Since the finale, I've gotten so many texts and DMs from friends that were so surprised by the ending and never predicted it, which is what you want in a 'whodunit' storyline.' Between filming and caring for her two young children with husband John Mulaney, she's always on the go, so an effortless but elevated wardrobe is what she gravitates toward. 'My look works perfectly for me because it's an elevated version of what I wear on a daily basis,' she said of her outfit [below] from the event. 'I love denim paired with an easy blouse or tee, then paired with a classic and timeless bag and watch. I always gravitate towards timeless and classic pieces over trendy: pieces that will wear and age beautifully over time that I can pass down to [my daughter] Mei to wear one day.' Olivia Munn, wearing Chanel, attends Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women's Filmmaker Program luncheon at the Greenwich Hotel on June 6, 2025, in New York City. Jamie McCarthy/WireImage Below, Munn shares her shopping essentials that help fuel her success and keep her organized—and always looking chic. 'I recently got the Celluma red light therapy device and will use that every night, which is a great time to meditate, since I have to lie down for it.' 'I will buy any vintage, worn-in Levi's that I find. I have so many, and I love each and every one. I literally can't get enough.' 'A Lego t-shirt that has pictures of Lego pieces on it. I was just at Legoland with my son, and all he wanted was a shirt with Lego pieces on it—and can you believe that not one gift shop has that? They only have ones with Lego heads on it.' 'A small, very flat mirror. Checking my makeup in my phone in selfie mode never helps because it looks distorted. A mirror is the only way I can see if I blended my makeup fully. There have been one too many times I've gone outside only for a friend to tell me to go back inside and blend.' 'If I had to pick just one beauty product, it would be Sublimage Le Masque Ultimate Mask. It leaves my skin so hydrated that I wake up with softer, dewy skin. And since using it, I've had so many compliments from friends who see a difference in my skin. A little tip I learned when layering products is to apply them in order of thinnest consistency to thickest. It helps penetrate into the skin better and then lock it in.' 'I use a squishy blanket as a pillow. It's plush and scrunches up into a pillow consistency. I wrap it halfway around my neck, so if I turn my head while sleeping, it doesn't press into my face. Lying on your side can really age your face, and this has helped tremendously. I've been doing this for years. The one I get is the Snuggle Sac.' 'I carry a hot water bottle. I'm cold on every flight. The hot water bottle has changed the flying game for me. I bring it onto the plane empty and ask the flight attendant to fill it with the hot water they use for their tea and coffee.' 'Having two children—a 3-year-old and an 8-month-old—most of my top-handle purses have moved to the back of my closet to make way for all of my crossbody ones.' 'I love my Tumi carry-on suitcase. It's the perfect size to hold everything I need for a three-day trip—it's lightweight so I can put it in the overhead compartment by myself. There are so many brands that make their luggage so heavy that by the time you add your clothes and shoes, it tips the scales into having to pay to check a bag.' 'The Nanit baby camera is my favorite. The interface is amazing, and the video quality is fantastic.' 'As a second-time mom, I made a list of items that are must-haves. The Doona stroller is an incredible invention. It converts from a car seat to a stroller, so you don't have to lug around both.

The theme of this year's Juneteenth Festival fashion show is resilience. Here's how it's inspiring designers.
The 16th annual Juneteenth Festival in New York City takes place Saturday. The theme for this year's Juneteenth New York fashion show is resilience, and designers are incorporating colors of the Juneteenth flag. Models will strut the runway in colors that represent resilience and strength. It takes the organizer a full year to plan all the intricacies that go into making the Juneteenth Festival a success. Each year, designers are tasked with presenting their interpretation of the theme. This year's theme is resilience "The legacy of resilience this year has really been about what are the things we've experienced in the past, how have we grown into where we are today. Whether it's about education, or our cultural history, and all of the arts that are what we are," Juneteenth NYC founder and CEO Athenia Rodney said. Designer Ewan Richards' signature is mud cloth. It goes through a very intensive, intricate process. "To me it's a luxury cloth," Richards said. "To create any dye, you have to use natural resources like sticks, stems, stones, mud. They leave it in a cellar for about a day, then it comes out with these bright colors." A model wears a reversible dress by Ewan Richards. CBS News New York Each of Richards' pieces is stylish, comfortable, and can be worn interchangeably. "Anything you wear is going to be comfortable the way you want it, it's going to look how you want it, feel how you want it," Richards said. The versatility of the clothing is a nod to how the Juneteenth Festival is embracing fashion freedom. "People who have come through a lot and gone through stages of pain onto victory," Oluwapo said. For the second year, CBS News New York is partnering with Juneteenth NYC to highlight culture and community. You can see us at our Pop-Up Newsroom Saturday at Gershwin Park in Brooklyn.

Vatican sets date for first millennial saint to be canonized
The Vatican has announced that the first millennial saint will be canonized in September. Pope Leo XIV made an announcement during a meeting with cardinals that Carlo Acutis will be inscribed into the Book of Saints on September 7. Acutis died at the age of 15 in Northern Italy after a short bout with leukemia in 2006, according to the Associated Press. Before Pope Francis's death on April 21, Acutis was set to be canonized on April 27 during the Vatican's Jubilee of Teenagers. During his life, Acutis spent most of his time like any normal teenager would, while also giving time back to both the church and the community. According to the Associated Press, Acutis taught Catholicism at a local church and volunteered to help the homeless. Acutis also used his computer coding skills to create a website highlighting more than 100 eucharistic miracles recognized by the church. The first intercession by Acutis came from his own mother, Antonia, who told Fox News that it came four years after his death. "When Carlo died, I was 39 years old, and then I started to try to have other children. I said, 'I'm still young, maybe I can try, no?' [But] the children didn't arrive. Then I had started on my practice to adopt a child, but in Italy, it's very difficult... I had lost all my hopes to have children by myself," she explained. "Once I dreamed about Carlo, he told me, 'listen, you will become, again, a mother. Don't worry.' And, one month after, I became pregnant." According to the National Catholic Register, the Vatican has recognized a second miracle by intercession on May 23, 2024. The miracle involved a 21-year-old Costa Rican woman named Valeria Valverde. Valverde sustained a serious brain injury in a bicycle accident while residing in Florence, Italy in 2022. Valverde was not expected to survive the injury. However, she made a full recovery after her mother visited Acutis's tomb and prayed for his intercession, according to the National Catholic Register. Acutis's tomb, which is located in Assisi, has been visited frequently by Catholics, most notably younger Catholics. Acutis will be joined by the blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati when he is inscribed in the book of saints. Fox News Digital's Laura Carrione contributed to this story.
