A dog's sweet way of sharing her toys with her owner has melted the hearts of viewers on TikTok.
The dog, a miniature Bernedoodle based in New York, was captured sitting in her daybed looking rather pleased with herself after moving her favorite toy onto the couch to join her owner's cushions.
The canine's owner, Stephanie Rose (@stephanniieerose), told viewers on the platform that her pet always mistakes her couch decor for being a set of toys belonging to her owner. The lighthearted post has been viewed more than 395,000 times to date, sparking many responses from viewers in the comments.
Viewers were able to see Stephanie Rose's dog sitting calmly in her donut bed before the camera panned to show the dog's favorite toy, a small stuffed cat, after it had been placed within a row of couch cushions.

does this makes sense bc i'm crying also she's been doing this since she was a babyyy 😭 every time without fail ♬ The Winner Is... - DeVotchKa Version - DeVotchKa
An overlaid text on the video read: "Soulmated so hard that everytime I put my pillows back on the couch, she adds her favorite toy because she thinks they're my toys."
"Does this makes sense [because] I'm crying also she's been doing this since she was a baby," the caption added. "Every time without fail."
The video had been shared to the platform on May 20, around the time when creators had begun posting all the unique ways that they have "soulmated" with their pets in a lighthearted new social media trend.
As for the canine's good-natured gesture of rounding all the "toys" up, dogs can indeed develop strong emotional attachments to toys for several reasons.
These attachments often mirror bonding behaviors, with some dogs treating a particular toy as a surrogate companion. Toys can also become comfort objects, providing security during stressful times such as when the dog is left alone or exposed to new people and environments.
This can all provide some explanation as to why Stephanie Rose's miniature Bernedoodle felt it appropriate to place her toys with what she assumed were her owner's.
Viewers on TikTok were quick to gush over the sweet action, with many sharing their amusement at the viral moment in the comments.
"Making her house a home," one viewer said, while another added in much agreement: "She's decorating."
"She's just a little girl," a third viewer shared.
"She must think you're so cute cuddling with your toys and never messing them up," another added.
"What a sweetheart," a different viewer said. "I can't take it."
Another commented: "Okay well now I'm crying in bed which is not unusual but still not appreciated."

'Thunderbolts' Director Reacts to X-Men Reboot Rumors
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors "Thunderbolts*" director Jake Schreier has finally responded to numerous reports that he has been confirmed as the director of the upcoming "X-Men" reboot. The filmmaker said he was not confirmed as the director, but didn't deny that he was in talks to helm the film. Read More: 'Thunderbolts' Filmmaker Confirmed as 'X-Men' director Collider reports that it was at the Mediterranean Film Festival in Malta that Schreier responded to a question about whether he would handle "X-Men" differently than "Thunderbolts*". "Even if I were confirmed on that movie, I don't think I would be allowed to answer that question," Schreier said. "I guess what I would say is that it always starts from character and working with great writers and collaborators, and certainly thinking about how to do something different with any project that you take on. That's as much as I can say." Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in 'Deadpool & Wolverine." Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in 'Deadpool & Wolverine." DISNEY Reports first popped up in May that Schreier was in early talks to helm "X-Men". The reports included claims that while the acclaim he attracted with "Thunderbolts*" attracted a bunch of offers from other studios, he was so far saying no to them in order to make room for "X-Men" in his schedule. Variety seemed to have confirmed that Schreier had the job last week while it was reporting on schedule changes on the Marvel release calendar. On Tuesday, "Black Panther" director Ryan Coogler also seemingly confirmed Schreier was directing the "X-Men" reboot during an interview with Metro Entertainment. 🚨 Ryan Coogler confirms Jake Schreier will direct the X-Men reboot 🎥: @zacidk — Metro Entertainment (@Metro_Ents) June 24, 2025 Asked about rumors that Coogler was directing "X-Men", Coogler responded, "No, Jake is directing that." Coogler confirmed that by "Jake," he meant Jake Schreier. While "Thunderbolts*" may have flopped financially, the film was one of Marvel's biggest critical successes in years. So even though we don't know yet with 100% certainty whether or not Schreier is directing the "X-Men" reboot, it's clear that the film could do a lot worse. Along with who will direct "X-Men," it remains to be seen who will star in the film, and whether or not those stars will include any of the old guard. Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn and James Marsden will all be reprising their roles in "Avengers: Doomsday", and they'll be joined by Channing Tatum, presumably as Gambit. Though he's not confirmed yet for "Doomsday" or "Avengers: Secret Wars", rumors continue to swirl around Hugh Jackman's possible appearance in or both films. Alex BierensChad Gable's Impact On Raw Storylines The timing of the injury affects a key storyline on Raw. Gable has been a consistent presence on the show in recent weeks. He has fully embraced a heel role as the "coach" of The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile. He has also been feuding with top stars like Sami Zayn. Gable's absence will impact the momentum of his faction. It is uncertain how WWE will handle the storyline for his group in the coming weeks. Gable signed with WWE in 2013 and quickly made a name for himself in NXT. He formed the popular tag team American Alpha with Jason Jordan, capturing the NXT Tag Team Championship with their impressive technical skill. The duo was called up to the main roster in 2016 and won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. More news: WWE News: Steve Austin Reveals Real-Life Vince McMahon Confrontation After the team split, Gable became a tag team specialist, winning the Raw Tag Team Championship with both Bobby Roode and later, Otis. After a poorly received run as "Shorty G," he reinvented himself as the charismatic master of the Alpha Academy, creating the popular "Shoosh!" catchphrase. In recent years, Gable received a significant singles push with a series of acclaimed Intercontinental Title matches against GUNTHER. This led to his current role as a demanding, villainous coach, a central part of Monday Night Raw storylines. More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.
