Fresh Nothing Phone (3) teaser points to subtle design changes
Nothing Phone (3a) vs. Nothing Phone (3a) Pro | Image credit: PhoneArena Nothing Phone (3) is definitely one of the most intriguing devices coming out this summer. The UK-based company behind the Nothing brand revealed quite a lot of things about its upcoming product, including the fact that it decided to remove the Glyph Interface it used on the previous phones.Today's teaser points to a slight change in aesthetic for the Nothing Phone (3) , although the industrial aspect seems to have been maintained. According to the teaser posted on Twitter, Nothing Phone (3) is the result of ' ultra-precise engineering .'
There's also a picture that shows a small part of the phone's back side, which once again confirms the industrial design with precise lines and cuts. The dot-matrix style lights system that's supposed to replace the Glyph Interface isn't visible in the image like in the teaser from just a few days ago. It's unclear from the picture if the Nothing Phone (3) will also have a different shape, but the surface doesn't seem to be transparent like in the previous models. For reference, Nothing shared some sketches of the Phone (3) in the past that suggest the phone will retain one of its iconic design traits: transparency.

Ultra-precise engineering. pic.twitter.com/dvw1aVRHND — Nothing (@nothing) June 6, 2025 What's been clearly changed from the previous phones is that the screws are no longer visible. Well, one is hidden under a plastic circular cap that makes it look like part of the design, at least judging from the picture posted by Nothing. The screws on the back side of Nothing's phone struck a slightly discordant note design-wise, at least for me, so I'll be happy if the UK company decides to make a change in this regard. There's been a lot of talk surrounding the removal of the Glyph Interface, but the overall impression seems to be that Nothing's decision based on users' feedback was the right one. I'm not so sure that replacing it with a dot matrix lighting array will make any difference, but time will tell. I think people want a flagship with solid specs and good software. These lighting array systems seem to be just gimmicks that most people don't ever use or use a lot less to justify their existence.
Nothing has already confirmed that it's first-ever flagship, the Phone (3), will be officially introduced on July 1. We already know it will cost around £800, but that's about it.

Sony reportedly cancelling some Xperia 1 VII pre-orders without notice
Shortly after Sony announced the Xperia 1 VII flagship phone, the company launched a pre-order campaign in many European countries with a free set of Sony WH-1000XM5 over-ear headphones.. However, some users on Reddit are reporting an issue with the pre-orders. Many customers are finding out that their order is being cancelled without any prior notice or explanation. A few claim that they were told to place another order, but since the free headphones promo had just expired they might not be receiving them. The reports come from all over the continent, including the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, France and others. And there's still no official statement from the company, so users are left wondering and speculating what the reason could be. It could either be an issue with Sony's systems or it could be the case of the company underestimating the demand for its latest flagship. After all the majority of customers report that their Xperias and Sony headphones are being shipped successfully. Hopefully everyone gets some clarification soon and Sony does things right with its fans. Thank you, Josip, for bringing this to our attention. Source Sony Xperia 1 VII 5G

Poco F7 teaser campaign starts, probably reveals its launch month
Poco introduced the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra back in March, and over the past few weeks rumors about a 'vanilla' F7 joining them have intensified. Today, this is finally confirmed as Flipkart has put up a special microsite for the upcoming device. While it doesn't give us a specific release date, the URL does mention June, so we assume that means the device will be unveiled by the end of this month. The microsite goes through the history of the vanilla F series devices, all the way back to the original Poco F1 from 2018, which is billed as "the flagship killer that started it all" and "democratized performance". According to past rumors, the Poco F7 is likely to be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, in which case it will come with a 6.83-inch 1280x2272 AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,200-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, 12/16GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 20 MP selfie snapper, and a 7,550 mAh battery. The phone is coming on July 1. So far, Nothing presented us with devices for the mid-range market. Nevertheless, its phones are unique, recognizable, and still reliable. Now, Carl Pei 's company's first flagship phone may turn out to be a flagship killer. Will it? We'll know quite what to expect from Nothing's first flagship outlet SmartPrix recently revealed that the Nothing Phone 3 may come with a Snapdragon chip at least as powerful as the Dimensity 9400e. This is not the mightiest chip but it's among the flagship-grade ones. Leaks hint at either the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 or even the Snapdragon 8 Elite may power this tipped to feature a larger battery that could exceed 5,000mAh. The exact mAh battery size has not leaked. Nevertheless, the expected bigger battery would be an upgrade over the Nothing Phone (2), which sported a 4,700mAh battery and came with 45W and 15W wireless said to come with Android 15 and Nothing OS 3.0. There will likely be plenty of new AI features, including Nothing's new Essential Space which was unveiled not too long ago with the Nothing Phone (3a) Space is basically an AI hub that you can use to store screenshots, notes, and what have you, and is accessible with a specific key on the (3a) Pro. It's likely Nothing will have this AI prowess on its flagship as and rumors indicate thewill come with 12GB of RAM as a standard. One rumored option is the 12GB of RAM coupled with 256GB of storage, while another, beefier option is said to come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Sporting more RAM is likely due to the growing demands from Artificial Intelligence, and also Nothing's aim at producing a real 'flagship' this time by the teaser Nothing shared about the announcement of the device, themay not come with the now recognizable Glyph interface. The teaser suggests an LED-matrix-style animation which may replace the Glyph on the back. This would make for a more functional with the top-notch flagship specs the phone is said to sport, it would signify Nothing changing its focus from pure aesthetics to user experience and build quality.
